Irene Finch set to work preparing the room for the exam that the students were about to take. She'd specifically asked the Headmaster to not move the tables out of the way for the students' exam. If they were going to be licensed apparationers, then they would need to possess the ability to work around their surroundings. Apparating across an empty room was convenient, but the chances of apparating to a truly empty space were going to be slim in the real world. This would be an especially important test for those students who were interested in Ministry positions as apparating was a requirement for most positions.

Heading to the doors of the Great Hall, Irene stepped out to greet the students who were waiting just outside. The students were seated on the benches that had been provided to await their turn. "Good afternoon" she greeted, her icy blue eyes taking them in one by one. "In a moment, I'll begin calling you in alphabetically by your last name. Once I do, I'll ask you to apparate to a spot somewhere in the room. You will only get one shot. I will not pass you if even a hair remains where you once stood." Irene pursed her lips, her expression showing the gravity of the situation. She wanted that fact to be clear because she hated the annoying begging that came when a student failed. She looked at their faces, wondering which ones she would be seeing in the courses that were provided by the Ministry throughout the year. Many people failed the exam on their first try, but the woman did nothing to reassure the students of this fact.

Stepping back into the room, where her clipboard was already magicked to take notes, Irene glanced at the list and then called the first student forward. Once the student was inside, Irene shut the door tightly and began the exam.
Exam Rules said:
Roleplay your character's attempt to apparate to a point in the room. Don't forget that there are tables and chairs around as well.

You will get a P or T depending on whether you roleplay your character succeeding or failing. Extra credit will be given for the level of detail in your roleplay regardless of passing or failing. Feel free to godmod only if it is necessary to your roleplay. If you have any questions, PM me.

Graeme was so nervous for this exam, he couldn't get over how nervous he was for this, after all it was just an exam, but the reality was that a lot was riding on this exam, if he failed he would have to stay at Hogwarts until he could resit the exam and then be able to leave but the teen had plans already, he had packed up most of his belongings and was feeling a little more than a little happy about the fact he had packed it all away, he couldn't wait until he was able to go home, but first he had to pass this exam, he had to pass apparation, he had to do well in this, he wanted to do well in it. The teen was working so hard on it, studying so hard, like he'd never studied before because of the weight of this. And all too soon, it was the time for the exam. The teen was staring at himself of the mirror before he headed to the great hall where the rest of his class was.

The teacher walked out of the great hall and greeted them, running through how things would be going. The teen wasn't sure if he should be pleased or worried that his name as an F was pretty soon. But he stood with his wand tightly gripped in his hand, and he was just waiting nervously. Then it was his turn, and he walked into the room, running a hand through his hair and pushing it out of his eyes with a nervous expression on his face. He stood in the area that he was supposed to and looked to where he was instructed to go, the teen took a deep breath as he looked at it. His mind took that moment to remind him of how important this was for him, he could feel the cold Skye wind, he could smell the sea air, he could feel the light rain, he could see the fairy pools, but the boy emptied his mind and focused on the spot in front of him, he reminded himself of the three D's, Destination, Determination and Deliberation. He imagined it in his head where he wanted to be, and then as he felt that familiar pull, the boy leaned into it, and then it was over and he was left with a small feeling of nausea. The teen hadn't even realised he'd closed his eyes and he reopened it and realised he'd managed it. The teen smiled at his success and looked to the teacher to find out if he had actually passed it.
