Sutton had spent a long time on her costume this year. She rarely gave much thought previous years, going instead as something simple. This year was different. Her younger sister, Kita, had made a comment about Sutton always choosing costumes that were book-related. Of course this was true, but the tone that her sister had used made Sutton want to work harder this year. She thought hard about what could be the most book related costume, eventually falling on her nickname 'bookworm.' After hours of creating a cardboard book and dying a white dress green, Sutton had finally had the perfect costume. It suited her so well; she almost wondered if she could wear it year round.
The young Ravenclaw walked into the Great Hall, adjusting her antennae as she did so. The hall was decorated in creepy decorations and wonderful pumpkins. The food was overwhelming. A few things caught the young blonde's eyes. She definitely wanted to check out the haunted tent. It was almost as if she was in a horror movie, entering an area you knew you should not enter. This thrilled the young girl as she walked towards the tent. Almost there, something caught her eye, a plate of cupcakes shaped like spiders. Sutton stopped her journey as she went over to the table of snacks and reached out for a cupcake. The spider moved, making her jump backwards. The young girl laughed loudly as she once more reached and grabbed a cupcake off the 'spider's legs.' Her eyes looked around the Great Hall as she took a huge bite of the cupcake, getting frosting on her nose.
