As much as Eleanor sometimes didn't show it, the Hufflepuff especially loved her twin sister. With Lilyanna's new girlfriend, Ellie was beginning to become worried. At first she liked the idea of Lilyanna coming out, but now that Lily had a girlfriend, Eleanor could see that something was wrong. They didn't spend as much time together as what a normal couple would as she didn't even see Diane at the Wild Patch Event, and something told the Hufflelpuff that her sister still wasn't comfortable with it. Eager to change this, Ellie asked her good friend Ainsley to meet her at the lakefront in hopes that Lilyanna could make a new friend. Lilyanna didn't have many friends but considering the fact they already had something in common, Eleanor was sure it would be fine. With a smile, she walked outside of the castle with her sister. "Don't worry, it will be fine." Ellie reassured her, leading the way over to the lakefront. When she saw Ainsley she beamed. "Hey!" she exclaimed, waving over to her. "This is my sister, Lilyanna!"

With Lilyanna's NEWTs coming up soon, the girl wanted nothing more than to focus on her studies. The whole idea of getting a girlfriend was quite distracting, and as much as Lilyanna liked Diane, she didn't want to accidentally rely on her too much. After all, it was bad enough that she relied on her sister whenever something went wrong. Eleanor was eager to get Lilyanna to meet someone and at first Lilyanna considered to refuse the offer. Lilyanna had only one friend and she wasn't going to try to find someone to replace him. Tholomyes was always there for her when she needed him and she couldn't ever think of a better person for the job of being her friend. Reluctantly, Lilyanna nonetheless agreed with Eleanor's offer, squinting slightly as she walked outside of the castle at the bright sun. She never usually went outside, but it didn't surprise her that this was where Eleanor was taking her. She followed her sister to the lakefront where she soon caught the attention of a girl. Shyly, Lilyanna gave them a small wave, not really sure what she was supposed to do.

Ainsley had been a little surprised to be invited to hang out with Eleanor, but it certainly wasn't an unwelcome invitation. She had gotten to know the older girl quite well through the Wild Patch, and looked up to her a bit as their club leader. So she waited by the lakefront for the other girl, splashing her toes slightly in the water as she waited. When she heard Ellie's voice calling out Ainsley turned, smiling and giving the other girls a friendly wave. She had never met Eleanor's twin before, but she had seen the girl around before. "Hi!" Ainsley said happily, making her way over to meet them. "Hi Lilyanna, I'm Ainsley, it's nice to meet you." She said with a warm smile, remembering her manners.

Lilyanna did not like being set up. She knew how to make friends well enough and refused to believe that she needed any more. Nonetheless, a girl who wanted to be friends stood in front of her and there was no turning back now. Lilyanna wondered if perhaps the girl who introduced herself as Ainsley knew Eleanor's plan. It wasn't everyday that Lilyanna saw someone who wanted to be her friend and she wondered if perhaps she was just acting. The thought of this frustrated the Slytherin as she had no idea what was going on. "It's not very nice to meet you as I could be finishing reading my book about whales." she muttered, intending to be truthful rather than rude. "Did you know whales alert the other whales when they sense danger by slapping the water's surface with their tail?" Lilyanna didn't know if Ainsley was interested in her fact but figured she might as well say it nonetheless. If Lilyanna was a whale she would do that now, but because she was not, she simply stood in front of the stranger, slightly glad that her sister was there even though it was her fault.

Though she did her best not to let her cheerful expression slip, Ainsley was a little startled by Lilyanna's lack of enthusiasm. She had expected that Ellie's twin would be more like her, and was at a bit of a loss for what to say to someone who was so up-front about not wanting to see her. "Oh..." She said hesitantly, mind scrambling desperately for a response. She was relieved of her struggle though, when the girl followed her unenthusiastic greeting up with an interesting fact. "Oh! That's so cool!" Ainsley smiled. "Whales are so interesting. Did you know some whales sleep vertically? Their heads are lighter than their bodies so they float head side up while they sleep." Ainsley didn't know too many facts about whales, but she was glad one sprung to her mind so she had something interesting to say in return.
