Therese was at the beginning of her second semester of her second year. It went so very fast, before she knew it she was already a third year and than she had to chose electives. She had seen her cousins around the school and some were happy to see her and some less. Therese didn't mind she knew that Gabriella had a lot on her mind and could understand. It was a lovely day and the brunette loved to be outside so that was her plan for today. She had some free time before the lessons would begin and she loved opening the day with a walk through the gardens. She loved being at Hogwarts and couldn't wait for her sisters to join her. Alice was the first to join her but it will take a while still.

When the brunette stepped outside she felt the sun on her skin. It was a lovely way to start the new day and a new semester. Therese hadn't scored the best grades last semester, she thought the lessons were fine but she was so distracted. She had trouble with concentrating, observing people and meeting new people was way more fun. You could learn from others and that was the most important thing. She walked a bit further to the gardens and looked around if she could bring some flowers along. Her favorite subject was herbology and she would have it this semester. She wanted to do her very best for a good grade, she just liked some subjects more than others. And the one that she liked she wanted to put great afford into it. It was than easier to concentrate, if you'd liked the subject. Therese saw a beautiful sunflower and decided to grab it. It was a good day to pick some flowers and decorate their bedroom with it.

Rory had been thinking a lot about Hogwarts. It had always been clear his path in life. He would go to school, get whatever grades he could and then move back home, train in the family business that he would then inherit. His parents would find him a pureblood girl, preferably Scottish that he could marry and that would be it. There was little incentive for him to change, for him to adapt to school here, to really work hard, or to date anyone. He knew that Anabelle and him would end, just as soon as he got around to ending it. Or remembering most of the time that while he was hitting on other girls, they were together. He was beginning to wonder about how important blood purity and status was. He wasn't exactly happy at Hogwarts, and yet he had status, his family had money, why couldn't he just find happiness in that. Why couldn't he just focus on getting through the school. His life was planned. It hadn't meant to be his, but it now was and he should be happy to have such a secure future. Even if he really wasn't.

Rory didn't usually let his thoughts really overtake him, but having spent time at home, with his father learning the beginning pieces that he remembered him telling his sister before she had died. It had cemented his position as the heir. The oldest pureblood child of the family, the oldest son of his father, who had been the oldest son of his parents and had of course inherited the business. He didn't want to do that, he'd even picked up a career's guide but, it was pointless, his role was decided, and as his mother always said there was no changing tradition. The boy noted that he'd walked all the way to the gardens, and in the distance he spotted Therese. He liked Therese, she was a little younger than he was, but she was pretty and she liked him. He knew that she at the very least liked him as a friend. Despite the fact that he was dating Anabelle, Rory made his way over, "Therese," he greeted warmly, "That's ah beautiful sunflower, ye've got a good eye" he smiled as charmingly as he could to her as he spoke, "What are ye daein? Just pickin' flowers?"
