Felix hadn't ever thought he'd be helping to lead the Brew Crew; the club that his sister had founded. He'd also didn't think he'd be stood at the front of the room alongside Ten, given their differences in the past it made a nice change to actually be working on something together with her now. Perhaps bittersweet, given this time next year she wouldn't be here, but Felix had to make the most of it while she was.

Even though Amortentia was going to make the official announcement for the event, Felix had joined her as he'd been at the club stand, enrolling the first years in particular. Some of them may not have even known who Ten was yet, so he was just here to bridge the gap. "Hey!" he called out to the tables and addressed the students once there were enough people in the room to consider beginning the event. A glance to his sister, Felix stood a little taller, "While you might remember me, if you haven't already met Amortentia," Felix pointed to his left. "This is Amortentia." Hopefully that much was clear. "If you need any help today, I'll be wandering around, otherwise Ten will explain what we're doing."

Given that Ten already had another club to be running, she'd enlisted the help of her little brother when it came to the Brew Crew. He'd not done a bad job at recruiting at the beginning of the year, and she'd asked him to join her at the front of the room given that in six months, he'd be the one leading it anyway. It was a weird thought, that very soon she wouldn't even be here, like she was officially supposed to be an adult and go on her way, but she had plenty of time to cause a little mischief before then.

She nodded as Felix introduced her to the newbies of the club, although she was pretty sure she recognised a handful of them from the Wild Patch too. She shook her red hair out of her face, lifting her nose a little to the ceiling to convey an air of authority she wasn't sure suited her. "Normally we make potions," she started, hoping this event would be something fun for them all, "and usually, your potions will have some sort of magical affect.. or at least it should do, if you brewed it right." There were cauldrons dotted around the room, but baskets too that were full of ingredients that one didn't usually find on the tables in the dungeons.

"Today's potions will a bit different," she told the group, hoping it would be something everyone could be on with and work together on the same page. "In your baskets you'll find chocolate, milk, sugar, marshmellows, honey and sprinkles." She opened her arms as if it was obvious, "so, today's potion, is hot chocolate." It felt appropriate, given this time of year, and it would make a nice change to be able to drink their finished product for fun. "Nobody burn any milk, please. It gets awful stinky."

OOCOut of Character:
Welcome to the first Brew Crew event of the year! On the desks around the room are cauldrons and the ingredients to make a hot chocolate. Feel free to play around creating your drinks, and once you're finished, you can enjoy them! Happy almost IC Christmas!

Mania had come to The Brew Crew event dragging her two sisters behind her. Well not actually dragging Gaia but Windy had put up a bit of a fight. Apparently he first year had wanted to go outside today instead and because of that she was now all grumpy sat on a stool between Mania and Gaia. "I'll take you for a walk afterwards." She spoke to her sister quietly and she swore she heard her say something about not being a dog, but it fell on deaf ears because Felix had started to speak at the front. Nia gently shushed her sister and told her to pay attention before turning her own attention to the fourth year.

Tilting her head the Gryffindor listened to Amortentia, maybe a little confused where the seventh year was going with her speech at first. However when chocolate and marshmallows were brought into the scene Mania grinned as wide as a girl could, turning to her sisters excitedly. As Ten finished Nia turned to the siblings at the front and gave both of them a genuine smile with a thumbs up to signal they were great, as per usual, before standing up from her seat. Putting her hair into a bun the third year decided his was as important a potion as any she'd brewed before, thus she was putting her all into this. "Okay, Eris you want to do your own or do one with me?" She asked her sister, knowing Eris wasn't as big on potions as her or Gaia.

Rose hadn't had a chance to talk to Gaia about her plan with Zeke yet, but she intended to ahead of the Yule Ball and not only because she needed the girls help to pick an appropriate dress. The Slytherin came in however with her sisters alongside her, so Rose kept to herself until she felt as though it was the right time to collar her on her own, slight glances in her direction in the hopes that she'd get the hint.

The second year was glad to be making something that wouldn't blow up if they got it wrong, and had begun to pop a few marshmallows in her mouth when she thought nobody was watching, making the most of her ability to seemingly blend into the background.

Eris had put up a fight okay. She'd wanted to go outside, enjoy the windy day and get lost around it but nope, Mania had other plans. She had followed her sisters to this event eventually and was now sat next to them. When Mania told her she'd take her on a walk later like she was a dog Eris glared at the Gryffindor. "I am not a dog." She whispered back and as Nia looked away she, not so secretly, flipped the girl off. Feeling a little bad instantly.

Listening to whatever the people in the front were saying, the girl especially that her sister was looking at as if it was Hera, the first year shrugged. A hot chocolate was never a bad idea, however Nia over there was acting as if it was the best idea anyone had EVER had. Glancing at all the people and cauldrons and at Gaia that bid her farewell to join her friend Eris shrugged at Mania's question. "I'll just help you with yours." She told her sister and stood up to help out.

Luke was here because Susie and Freddie were supposed to be here, but as he'd taken a seat in the less than pleasant classroom, he didn't see any sign of his siblings yet. Maybe they had the time wrong. As he looked around the room, it occurred to him that he hadn't really made any real friends yet. What did a magical boy like him have to do to make a few buddies around here? 'Corse there was Eris, who Luke was currently sniggering at as she made a vulgar gesture at the older girl who'd told him off for dropping his bag on a table, and Auden who had entrusted him with Simon, but no one came close to the friendship he had with Butters. The hamster was placed gently on the table, and Luke hoped that a small dish of milk would be enough to keep his smallest friend happy while he made himself a hot chocolate.

It was both funny and adorable how bothered Eris was by he fact that she wasn't allowed to wander aimlessly outside for hours. Gaia liked the potions club, it felt useful. Siting next to her sisters the redhead followed their interaction like a show. When they were away from the rest of their siblings the Slytherin found comfort in their company in a way she never did back at home. Listening to Felix and Amortentia Gaia glanced at the boy a few times, she knew he was one of Nia's friends, so obviously he'd need to be kept an eye on.

As people around them started working on their hot chocolates Gaia told her sisters a bye before walking a few tables over o Rosé. "Mind if I join you?" She asked the Ravenclaw as she sat down, pretty sure she wasn't going to be turned away, especially given the glances the girl had thrown her way.

"Mhmm," Rose was crushing her chocolate into small pieces, so they wouldn't take too long to melt once she added them to her cauldron. "How are your sisters?" she asked, glancing their way. It would have been nice if Rouge and Blanc took an interest in hanging out her as much as they did each other, but she'd learnt a long time ago that she was a little different to her siblings, and had to take her own path.

Gaia began working on her own drink in the cauldron, but as Rosé asked her a question about her sisters the Slytherin glanced their way. A small smile made an appearance on her face before she spoke. "The usual, Eris wanted to go outside listen to the wind or something but Nia dragged her over here and well Nia... she's herself I suppose, which is good but I did see her be a little off after like week five or so but she wouldn't talk to me." Gaia spoke a little more than she'd meant to, it wasn't Rosé's problem to worry about but Gaia didn't like when Mania shut her out. "Something's changed though recently, she's back to herself which I'm glad for." She added, glancing down to her now bubbling mixture while stirring it so it wouldn't burn.

Eris was going to stick by Mania but like the girl had her thing handled, she was humming to herself as she was adding everything to the milk and all, glancing around Eris noticed mr. bossy Luke with a..... hamster on his table. That had to be a safety hazard. "Save me a cup? Thanks love you," She told nia before giving her sister a quick kiss on the cheek before abandoning her and walking to Luke. "I'm pretty sure having animals in a place where they make anything you are going to ingest is some sort of a health violation." The Slytherin said as soon as she reached the boys table, only half joking.

Mania was happily making the hot chocolate, enjoying the smell of it and all when all of a sudden her sisters disappeared one by one. It really was the ones closest to you, huh? Mania's movements and humming halted as Eris told her to save a cup for her, then gave her cheek a kiss and skedaddled to none other than the boy that'd almost disturbed Felix's nap. Frowning slightly Nia tried not to take offense to the fact that her sisters just abandoned her. Matter of fact the third year was quite flabbergasted by the audacity of the Slytherins in her family today.

When Eoghan had signed up to the Brew Crew, the thought it would actually be something he could learn from. When it turned out however that the leader was merely using the club as a façade for her own amusement, that actually there would be no potion brewing today in the slightest, Eoghan couldn't help but feel as though this was a waste of time. Sure, perhaps it would be fun. Perhaps it would be good idea to approach Felix again after their previous talk, but not wanting to ruin the spirit of the event, the Ravenclaw left before it had even begun. It wasn't his sort of scene, and they didn't need him meddling where he didn't belong.

"Huh?" Luke hadn't been paying attention to his surroundings, so when Eris arrived at his side, he had no idea what she'd just said. Out of instinct, Luke reached out to pet Butters, stroking his back as he sniffed around the table. Sometimes he was scared he would lose his best friend, but then he remembered he could just Accio Butters! and everything would be okay again. "I'm guessing you know who that girl is?" Luke asked Eris, glancing back to the older bossy one she'd just kissed. At least, he certainly hoped she did.

Her comment went right over the boys head, welp not her issue. Glancing towards Nia when Luke asked about her she nodded. “Yeah, she’s my sister. Why?” She asked a bit curious what the other first year had in mind to ask if she knew Mania.
