Lesson(s) Missed (please make clear which lesson(s) you are making up: 2,3

Jonah was stressed by this class. He really didn't like transfiguring living creatures. He failed the spell so the frog didn't turn at all.
Instead of transfiguring the rat, Jonah ended up just petting it since he wasn't succeeding at the spell anyway. He was really only here because he liked Professor Pirrip.

Name: Mania Athanasiou
House: Gryffindor
Year: 1st
Lesson: 4,5

Mania sat down in the classroom and faced the professor, man who haunted her nightmares as a cute little dog. Seriously the shame was too much and she'd be stuck with it for a few more years still. Listening to the lesson Nia took a few notes, actually finding the things interesting. However as the lesson came to an end she gladly packed her things up and left.

Everytime Nia had walked into this room this year she was reminded of that first lesson. That first lesson where she pat the dog, thinking it was just an innocently cuteee dog. WRONG. It hadn't been a dog and it had not been innocent. It had been the professor and everytime she looked at the man she wanted to simply vanish. Alas she was here for yet another lesson. Sitting in her seat Nia listened to everything, turning a teapot into a turtle should be interesting, though she wasn't sure how well she'd do on that.

Picking a teapot she chose one with not much on it, just a plain old white pot with some small flowers around it. Returning to her place she looked at the pot wondering how in the world she could make it into a turtle. Imagining it a few times she tried not to think about a turtle with a small pipe on top of its head that had steam coming out in a nice flow. Like a teapot. Trying the spell the first two times was an utter failure but on the third time as Mania said "Torte!" She watched as the pot slowly turned into a turtle...... With a pipe on top of its head with steady flow of steam coming out.... Well, it was sort of a success. Nia picked up the turtle and held it close as she brought it to the professor. "Sir, do you mind if I keep him? He is so cute, he can be like a humidifier! You know with the steam and all, tho I hope he won't walk down. Actually never mind you can have him, well yeah no you can have him. I begrudgingly hand over Mister Bartholomew , Bart for short by the way, the third." Poor little Bart.

Eoghan Blyth
Third Year

Lesson Two
Eoghan probably considered Transfiguration to be his worst subject. It was difficult, and he wasn't sure whether it would really be that useful to him. He'd only really taken it because he felt as though he couldn't take all the electives and not take Lilith's favorite class. He was yet to decide whether or not he would continue with it in the future, but he at least had it to give it a shot for his third year, even if he didn't enjoy it. Today they were looking as cross-species transfiguration, which was a hard concept for the blonde to get his head around. He did his best though, taking a frog of his own, and casting "Locusta" on the poor bastard. It wasn't really fair, this frog didn't deserve to be transformed into a grasshopper. Just because they both jumped didn't mean they were the same creature. Eoghan very much hoped that Professor Pirrip was going to transform the creature back. When the lesson was over, the third year gingerly made his way out the classroom, checking the floor for any remaining grasshoppers that had tried to flee the scene.

Lesson Three
Eoghan had slid into a seat next to Lilith, because if he was going to suffer through this class then at least he wanted to witness the joy she got out from it. As he heard they'd be turning rats into rabbits, Eoghan couldn't help but grimace at the prospect of another innocent creature being transformed into something it wasn't. It wasn't like a metamorphmagus, or even a werewolf, so much as these rats had no idea what was coming to them, nor did they know how long they'd remain that way. He nodded at Lilith told him she was off to swipe them a rat of their own to practice with, and Eoghan was more than happy to let his girlfriend take the lead, before following her out the classroom so they could practice.

Lesson Four
Eoghan hadn't taken Professor Pirrip to be a fan of Quidditch, although given that he was Teddy's dad he supposed it made sense. It wasn't for Eoghan either, but he still would have supported Ravenclaw if not just for Lilith being their seeker more than supporting his own house. He wrote down the phrase Clashing Magic since it was likely to come up on the exam, and wondered how often in the future he'd have to use this in practical situations. Eoghan was quietly glad they weren't doing a practical lesson this time around, he'd had enough transofmring animals into something or another, and he was more interested in transforming inanimate objects anyway since that seemed it would be more useful. At the end of the lesson he packed up his things and headed out the room.

Lesson Five
The moment Eoghan heard that this lesson was going to be about Animagi, Eoghan glanced to Lilith and knew she would be in her element. It was fascinating to see how much she enjoyed this lesson, annoyingly so because Eoghan just couldn't get his own brain around it himself, but he was still pleased for her. He had no idea what animal he would turn into if he were an Animagi, and not only because he'd not given it much thought. He had so many other things he needed to focus on and wanted to work on, that knowing what animal he would be when he had no desire to ever actually be an animagus, seemed like a waste of time. Not convinced that this would be a subject he'd continue taking next year at this rate, Eoghan made just a few notes before he left the classroom.

Rose Glass
First Year

Lesson One
As Rose entered the classroom, she saw a cute little doggy at the front of the class. Some of the students went up to pet it, but the fact there was a stray dog in the room was more of a concern to the Ravenclaw than something to be gawking at. She took a seat on her own, watching as more of the first years filtered in and started to play with the dog, although it quickly became apparent that the dog was their professor. Rose watched wide eyed as the man dog transferred into a fully grown man, and Rose wasn't quite sure what to make of the situation. She felt uneasy, and there was so much to take in for this subject she wasn't really sure where to start. She left the room at the end of the lesson feeling quite overwhelmed, unsure if she was going to enjoy this part of the magical curriculum.

Name: January Parish
House: Hufflepuff
Year: First
Lesson(s) Missed: One

January was eager for lessons to begin and actually get to learn something new. She had been around magic her whole life but it was always off limits and now it wasn't. It was all very exciting as she took her seat in the transfiguration classroom. She almost didn't notice the dog at first until one of her classmates when to greet it. She was momentarily confused where it had come from since she was fairly certain dogs weren't allowed. But before she could voice her concern the dog transformed into their professor. She gasped but they moved on quickly to the main part of the lesson. They went over a lot and she did her best to keep up with her notes. When the class was winding down she made sure to grab one of the questionnaire and turned it in before heading out the door.

Name: Tessaria Carter
House: Gryffindor
Year: Second
Lesson(s) Missed Lesson One

Lesson One
Tessaria was glad to no longer be amongst the youngest group of students. Watching the sorting ceremony take place was fun, and it was interesting to see how nervous and how excited some of the new first years were. She hoped she’d be able to befriend some of them and was looking forward to the semester. She had her first week of classes to attend, and so packed her backpack and headed to them.

Tess entered the Transfiguration classroom and took a seat amongst her peers. The professor started the lesson quickly, welcoming them back for another semester and letting them know what they would be covering. Animate to Inanimate transfiguration sounded fun, however she wondered if it could be harmful if performed incorrectly, which would probably make it very hard. She continued to listen as the professor explained what it was all about. It amazed her that they used to use this transfiguration as punishment back in the day. So did that mean that it was an uncomfortable feeling and the person would be trapped? Tess had a few questions regarding this which she figured she may be able to read up about at the library. As the lesson came to an end, the gryffindor thanked the professor before heading out.

Name: Autumn Owens-Rosemary
House: Slytherin
Year: Second
Lesson(s) Missed: Lesson One

Lesson One
Autumn was looking forward to going back to Hogwarts but was most definitely not looking forward to classes. She didn’t like the idea of having to study as she felt it was going to be a big waste of her time. Most of what she would learn, she would learn in everyday life. What did it matter for her to learn about the wizarding world’s history, or how to brew a potion she was never going to make? She packed her backpack with a sour look on her face and almost had to drag herself to her first class for the semester.

Autumn made her way to her Transfiguration class, hoping that this year wouldn't consist of too many lectures, as she much preferred just learning new spells. She reverted her attention to the front as the professor began speaking about what they would be learning. She wondered why it was important for them to know this, especially since this magic used to be used for punishment. Shrugging, the Slytherin just packed her belongings away when dismissed and headed straight to her next class.

Name: Nox Walden-Cade
House: Hufflepuff
Year: Third
Lesson(s) Missed: 2,3,4,5

Lesson Two

Nox was determined to be good at Transfiguration; he was so intrigued by the idea of Professor Pirrip becoming an animagus, he couldn’t help but wonder if he could do the same. But in order for that to be a possibility, he would have to keep his grades up; maybe he could ask Professor Pirrip about it later down the line. They would be working on an animate-to-animate Transfiguration spell, which Professor Pirrip referred to as a challenge, which made Nox a little nervous. He listened to the professor, and when he was done, Nox went up and got himself a frog. He did feel a little conflicted about what he was going to do to the frog, but Professor Pirrip had said before that it wasn’t painful for them, so hopefully that was still the case when turning them into a different animate creature. Nox took out his wand and got to work. Using the three tap method, he held his wand over the frog, as best he could, as the little bugger kept trying to hop away, he cleared his throat and spoke the incantation, “Locusta,” He said firmly. He tried it a couple of times before the frog on his desk turned into a grasshopper, but he’d done it. He took the newly minted grasshopper back to Professor Pirrip so he could presumably turn it back, then he packed up and left the classroom.

Lesson Three

The previous lesson had gone pretty well for Nox, so he was looking forward to trying it again with something a little more complicated. He sat and listened to Professor Pirrip explain that they would be working with rats, to the displeasure of many in the room. Nox didn’t care that much, and he was sure they would be clean as the professor promised. He memorised the incantation quickly, but wrote it down just in case he forgot partway through trying to cast it. Nox took a rat from Professor Pirrip’s desk and took it back to his own to start working on it after pairing up with one of his classmates. “Cuniculus,” He said firmly, pointing his wand down at the rat on his desk, to his own amazement, it worked on his first attempt, and the rat turned into a rabbit, which then proceeded to hop around his desk which became very annoying very quickly. Nox brought the rabbit back to Professor Pirrip’s desk to be graded, and once the lesson was finished, he left the classroom.

Lesson Four

After back-to-back lessons learning spells, Nox was a little surprised to find out they would have a lecture instead for their latest lesson. He took his usual seat and started taking notes as Professor Pirrip discussed clashing magic. Nox sat and took notes during the lecture, making sure he got as much detail down as he could. Once the lesson was over, he packed up his notes and made his way out of the classroom after being dismissed.

Lesson Five

Nox had been looking forward to learning more about animagi. Ever since he had seen Professor Pirrip’s transformation from a dog back into himself, he had been fascinated by the process. He needed to know more about it. He sat and listened to the professor give the lecture, taking a sheet of parchment and filling it with as many notes as he could until his hand started to cramp. When the lesson was over, Nox packed up his notes and made his way out of the classroom.

Name: Lincoln Cade
House: Slytherin
Year: Second
Lesson(s) Missed: 2, 3

Lesson Two

Lincoln took a shiny green beetle from the jar and passed it back as he continued to listen to Professor Pirrip explain the spell, the transformation they’d be hoping to achieve, turning the beetles into buttons. Lincoln wasn’t sure what the purpose of the spell was, why anyone would want their coat buttons to be transfigured beetles, he didn’t know, but it would be cool to be able to do it regardless. After Professor Pirrip was finished explaining the spell, Lincoln took out his wand and held it over the beetle, which frantically tried to free itself from Lincoln’s light hold, “Praepilatus,” Lincoln watched as the beetles form shifted, slowly at first and then snapped into a button with the same emerald sheen it had as a beetle. “Cool,” He muttered under his breath. He took the button up to Professor Pirrip when he was done, for grading and left the classroom after being dismissed.

Lesson Three

The knowledge that the chipmunk that now sat on his desk wasn’t ‘real’ was oddly comforting to Lincoln, knowing that it had specifically been conjured for this task made him feel better about turning it to stone, assuming he was successful, of course. Lincoln sat and listened to Professor Pirrip explain the spell they would be using to turn said chipmunks into statues. Once he finished, Lincoln took out his wand and held it over the chipmunk, who seemed frozen in fear and staring up at him. “Sorry,” Lincoln offered an apologetic remark before continuing, “Statua,” Lincoln watched as the chipmunk remained still and slowly turned to stone. Lincoln took it over to Professor Pirrip to be graded and left the classroom once they’d been dismissed.

Name: Tahlia Trenton
House: Hufflepuff
Year: First
Lesson(s) Missed: Lessons 1-4

Lesson One:
Tahlia felt a little lost her first week here at Hogwarts. Both physically and mentally a bit. She didn't quite know where she fit in and didn't quite understand this hustle of classes. She was trying though, making it to the Transfiguration classroom a few minutes before the class began. Luckily, the professor was not even there yet. She took her seat, letting a sigh escape her lips as wouldn't get in trouble for not being early like many of her other classmates. A few more students filed in and still no professor. Oh wow Tahlia was even earlier than she thought.

She turned to the front of the room, noticing the dog for the first time. How had she missed that. She let out a little squeal. It was adorable. She looked around wondering if she could get away with petting the creature. Thankfully, she did not have time to act upon it. The dog transformed into the professor before her eyes. She let out a gasp, her eyes wide. Her brain took a minute to comprehend what she just saw, but she was still rather dazed as the professor began to explain more about Transfiguration. It didn't help that this class seemed rather challenging.

She took out her note taking items and began to jot things down. She would look at them later when her brain wanted to keep up. Tahlia wrote more than she probably should not quite processing the information yet. She just kept thinking how grateful she was that she had not pet the dog, well professor. That would have been awkward. She packed up her things, her thoughts racing as she left the classroom, a confused look still on her face.

Lesson Two:
Tahlia had to keep repeating that the professor was a dog and that certain dogs should just not be pet. It definitely threw her whole mind out of whack, but she had to focus on the actual Transfiguration. This class was going to be challenging. She just had a gut feeling. Any class that made her head hurt as it had the first lesson was enough to worry her. She would try her best though.

The Hufflepuff girl was thankful that the professor was in human form as she entered the classroom. She took her seat without a word as the lesson began. She read over the words on the board. It definitely was a lecture. Tahlia dug into her bag for her writing tools, holding her quill in her hand as she began to write down what was on the board. That was not all though. The professor gave more information focusing on just what the ministry required for certain forms of Transfiguration. She wrote it all down, again writing more notes than needed.

She was thankful when the lesson came to an end. it was not as brain breaking as the first lesson but her hand was sore from all the notes. She put her things away, swinging her bag over her shoulder. Another lesson out of the way. She left the room happy to be in a less confused state than the previous lesson.

Lesson Three:
Tahlia had been reading more about Transfiguration. She hoped that this would help her be less confused and so far it seemed to be working. The real test would be in class today. The Hufflepuff girl entered the Transfiguration classroom, a small smile on her face. She took her seat and set her wand on her desk along with her note taking items. She wasn't sure which she would need but she wanted to be prepared.

Soon the professor would explain what they were doing today, more theory. This could be good but also confusing. Luckily, the notes were clear and on the board. Tahlia grabbed her quill and got to work. She wrote down the different areas of Transfiguration and magic that had rules. She was pleased with this information. She could grasp it. The professor even dismissed them without any confusion. Happily, Tahlia packed up her things and left the classroom.

Lesson Four:

Tahlia was ready and determined to do her first Transfiguration today. She had learned about the theory, read way ahead in the textbook, and even did research on the side. She was going to do this, whatever this was. She happily entered the Transfiguration classroom, trying to remain confident and keep her brain in one piece. She took her seat as the lesson began.

The professor explained what they would be doing today. It didn't seem to make sense why, but Tahlia apparently wasn't the only person wondering. Even the professor explained why they would bother turning a quill into a spoon. It was interesting at least.

Tahlia took out her quill and set it on her desk. She then took her wand out of her pocket. She focused on a spoon, which was a rather odd thing to do. She wasn't sure which spoon to imagine. She thought of first those plastic spoons in a fast food place but that wouldn't do. She just imagined a plain silver spoon. That would do. She thought of this image as she tapped the quill three times. "Scriopea" she said.

The quill began to change. Tahlia definitely felt her eyes widen as she watched this process. Now this was cool. Again confusing, but cool. She reached down and picked up the quill now spoon. She turned it in her hands. Her thoughts began to rush about. How and why and what? and all the questions. Tahlia tried to remain calm as she took her spoon to the professor. He changed it back quickly which again blew her mind. Tahlia thanked him in a small voice, taking her quill back before leaving the classroom.

Name: Priyanka Bakshi
House: Ravenclaw
Year: Third year
Lesson(s) 2, 3, 4, 5

Lesson 2
Priyanka tried to calm herself down on the way to the Transfiguration lesson, even though she knew she wouldn't have to cast a spell this time, but it still didn't reduce her anxiety about these lessons. She entered the classroom and settled down on the same bench where she had sat in the first lesson, took everything she needed out of her bag and waited for the lesson to start. She didn't have to wait long. This time the topics were Transfiguration and the Ministry of Magic. Priya wrote down everything the professor said, because it was all important. By the time the lesson ended, Priya said goodbye to the professor and left the classroom, wondering if she would have to draw something in the next lesson.

Lesson 3
Priyanka arrived a little early to class, so all that was left to do was to repeat what had been covered in the previous two classes. As soon as the professor started the class, she listened carefully and wrote down everything that was said. Of course, she had to write quickly, because it seemed that the professor was talking too fast today, but she tried to move her hand as quickly as possible over the notes. By the end of the class, she had written down everything, when she could leave, Priya said goodbye to the professor and left the class.

Lesson 4
Priyanka was so nervous going to the transformation that she would have to cast a spell today and that was why she was so nervous. She settled into the classroom, then waited for the lesson to start. They really had to focus on the spells. She had to turn a feather into a spoon, it scared her no joke, because she didn't know if she would be able to do it, but she had to do it. She listened carefully to what the professor said and also watched carefully what she had to do. Taking the wand, she then turned to the feather and concentrated on it, then said loudly "Scriopea" nothing happened the first time, then without waiting long she tried again, but it didn't work the second time, and the third, and the fourth time either. She had to calm down for a moment to try a fifth time. "Scriopea." she said loudly and confidently, focusing all her attention on the feather and it began to turn into a spoon. She jumped with joy, by the end of the lesson they tried again and it worked. She was happy when she left the classroom.

Lesson 5
Priyanka also went to the transformations with excitement this time, but this time she tried to calm down and do everything as usual without any worries. When the professor started the lesson, this time the match had to be turned into a needle, which Priyanka's first thought was impossible. She listened carefully and watched how it had to be done. Taking the wand, she turned towards the match. "Flammeus Tailora" she said loudly, but the first two times it didn't work, but then she tried a third time, this time she said the words more confidently and loudly, "Flammeus Tailora" worked the third time, the match really turned into a needle, although she initially thought it was impossible. She tried several more times until the end of the lesson. She left the classroom happy with what she had done.
