Mood. I took Monday off because I was sick but yesterday felt like a drag. :lol: Weirdly, 4 day weeks somehow end up feeling longer sometimes.
 
I've not been at this new job long enough to have sick time yet so I can't even call in and get paid. Hope you feel better soon though!
 
How did everyone's holidays go? Any fun stories you want to share?
 
kinda did got like six monthish - i assume it’s because people chat on other services now like discord or whatever, but that’s not really my thing so this is all i have lol

I'm hoping for a much quieter and uneventful week. I am not looking forward to the heat wave we are about to get. :p D:
 
I like talking anywhere because I'm lonely and massively socially awkward. :r

Honestly I'm just taking this week as it comes, work is being a bit of a pain. I'm just holding out for tax time at this point. :lol:
 
I need a meme of like, "You guys are getting your taxes back?" because I owe every year xD
 
Tax breaks this year. :lol: Though last 2 years I was able to claim my studies back, which helped.
 
I don't even want to think about my HECS debt. x_x

I just need to start saving up again so I've got plenty of money for my trip in October. Paid for the big expenses (flights, the tour, extra accommodation), and that demolished my savings account. :lol:

Japan! Been wanting to go for years and years and eventually just couldn't wait for a travel buddy anymore. :lol:
 
Oh you should have asked me! I would have gone with you - I love Japan. It's gorgeous. The people are amazing and the food is to die for honestly.

Are you going down to Kyoto at all, or are you staying more on the mainland?
 
I'm going on a Contiki tour because I juuuuuust scrape under the age limit =)) so I'm going from Tokyo, around to Hiroshima, back up to Kyoto and finishing in Osaka. I'm going to nerd out over stuff I recognize from games, haha. I've been miserable at work and haven't taken a real holiday before and certainly not alone.

Sounds like you had a good time when you went?

Yes very much! Kyoto is one of my absolute favourite places so I'm glad you're going. You're going to have a fabulous time!
 
I'm actually really looking forward to seeing Hiroshima as a history nerd. And Osaka because I'm a foodie, lol. If I get the chance, I'm hoping to go to Universal Studios and see all the Monster Hunter stuff (as long as it's there at the time).

I will probably take a bunch of selfies in front of locations from Yakuza games. :lol: I guess I'll send my ex a picture in front of a Godzilla statue, I had hoped to go with him but then he dumped me so here I am :r
 
As for what I'm excited for this week, I'm looking forward to some peace and quiet after a chaotic week and a half. I also shot a bunch of film on my trip and I dropped off about half of it to get developed on Sunday so I'm just eagerly awaiting getting those back. You would not believe how many pictures of mountains one person can take.
 
I don't miss studying and working though I should probably think about going back to study at some point. :lol: Hope you at least take time to relax!

I hope the mountain photos come out great, Kadi!

My weekends are a lot of watching football on the couch. :lol:
