Ravenclaw Quidditch Practice Y46 S1

When the quaffle was thrown out again Ambrose shot forward, catching it before any of the other chasers did in an attempt to make up for the fact that he had let the quaffle get stolen from him before.

Michael was perhaps a bit slow, but he was incredibly impressed with Ambrose already. The kid had skills. Thinking like that made him sound a bit old, so he just focused on what was going on instead.

Audrey wondered what was going on with her aim, because it was awful.

Ambrose headed to the other side of the pitch and made his shot, surprising himself when the quaffle flew through the middle hoop.

Audrey sighed as she chased after another bludger.

Michael clapped seeing Ambrose score again. He was careful not to get ahead of himself, but he certainly liked their odds against Slytherin.

Audrey was getting kind of frustrated now, she could practically hear her father's voice screaming at her in her head and she shut her eyes, trying to block it out.

Michael kept watch.

Maybe, thought Audrey, if she didn't chase after bludgers, they'd suddenly come to her and go where she wanted them to go. Because this was definitely not working.

Violet was still not able to catch the snitch.

Audrey finally had a good hit lined up, but the bludger sailed helplessly past its target and hit @Rory Styx instead. "Oh, come on!" she groaned, glaring at her bat as though it had betrayed her.

1x Lucy M
1x Kharon
1x Rory

Michael decided it was probably better not to say anything to Audrey and just quietly kept watching.

Audrey grumbled a bit as she kept a look out for bludgers.

Ambrose flew forward to intercept the quaffle again when it was thrown back out.

Ambrose made his shot but missed.

Savannah did not catch the snitch.

Lucy grabbed the quaffle, feeling a little bit bad she'd been distracted and hadn't been practicing as hard as she usually did. She went towards Michael's end, getting ready to take the shot.

Michael saw Lucy the chaser coming towards him and focused, not wanting to go too easy on her.

Audrey kept on looking for an opportunity.

Violet was yet to catch the snitch.

Audrey took a deep breath to right herself, knowing that if she got too frustrated her performance would get worse, if that was possible.

Lucy threw the quaffle and watched it fly through the hoop.

Audrey flew around the pitch trying to relax a little.

"Dammit," Rory gritted his teeth as a bludger struck him in his side and threw him off balance. He regained his composure and went to grab the quaffle when it was thrown into play. He managed to fly closer to the hoops and took a shot and managed to score.

"Geez," Michael said, rubbing the back of his head in embarrassment. He was a bit sluggish, needing to improve his defense. "Can you guys stop being good at what you're doing for five minutes?" he joked, laughing as the quaffle was sent back into play. "You three are really killing it today, keep it up!"
