Felix kept looking.
 
Tilly slapped a bludger and made it run crying back to its box.
 
Linden watched the progress of the quaffle. Not sure if he should cheer on Leo or encourage Zager. Would that help them or distract them. In the end his mind was made up for him when a bludger hit Blair he gave the new beater a thumbs up before calling to the chaser. ‘you okay Blair? it always felt bad encouraging your own team mates to beat up your other team mates.
 
René decided to get a move on when he saw the new beater manage a hit on Blair. He'd hit Blair before and he knew she had a way of making you feel bad about it one way or the other, but he knew he needed to get back in the game especially while Tilly was busy doing captain-y things for a bit.
 
Felix sighed. He wondered if he had gotten worse over the break or what, but he was getting a little impatient now.
 
Jordie caught the quaffle as it was thrown back in and headed back towards Linden.

Blair just relucatently gave a short nod towards @Tilly Drage . "I'm fine, just gonna do the work. Thank you," she leaned with the head towards the hoops, getting ready to restart the way. She wasn't mad, she just didn't like when the bludgers hit her and sometimes, for a second she didn't really like when the new beater hit her but she couldn't act up towards Tilly, first, they were dormmates, second, she was a captain. Before restarting to fly on she called back to @Linden Cullen : "Absolutely!' it felt good to have him back on the team, she preferred him on the team instead of out of the team..
 
Leonardo flew in behind Jordie as he had the ball and was heading back towards the hoops
 
Jordie made it back, and with a quick feint made the goal past Linden. He smiled. "You're getting slow old man!" He yelled out with a playful wink.
 
Zagreus couldn't tell how well he was doing. Maybe he was actually doing terribly. He tried not to think about that as he moved a side to side a little in front of the hoops while he waited for someone to try and score against him.
 
Tilly nodded at Blair, turning her attention back to the two new alternates.
 
After Jordie managed to score, Leo flew forward and grabbed the ball as it was thrown back out.
 
Linden watched as Jordie came towards him and feined a shot before shooting and linden fell for it agin. "who are you calling old man. Kid he called back. before thowing the quaffle back in towards Leo.
 
René was glad that the team seemed to be in good spirits, ducking as the bludger he'd been chasing suddenly changed directions.
 
Leonardo went to score and unfortunately it was caught by the keeper.
 
Preparing himself, Zagreus went after the quaffle as it was thrown, grinning slightly as he grabbed it out of the air and made a save. Feeling slightly more confident about things, Zagreus chucked the quaffle back again out.
 
Maybe it was the memories of the last valentine's roses, but Lucas felt a little frustrated at Jordie and Linden's interaction. He flew past Jordie. "Focus on the game." He told him, before resuming his search for the snitch with a frown on his face.

After Leo missed, Blair grabbed the quaffle and went on to make a way towards the hoops herself.
 
Felix sighed and kept looking for the snitch.
 
Catching up to a bludger, René tried to send it towards Tilly, hoping to prove himself as a solid beater after the lull in hits. He wasn't fast enough however, the bludger shooting through empty air where Tilly had been.
 
Leonardo flew in behind Blair who had the quaffle.
 
Zagreus stayed ready in front of the hoops.
 
Shaking out his arm, René dodged around the chasers, tailing after the bludger he'd just hit off to try and catch it again.
 
Tilly swerved out of the way just in time to avoid Rene's bludger. Testing him, she sent one right back. When it actually hit him, she felt a little bad, but not that much. @Rene Tofilau
