Hufflepuff Quidditch Practice Y41/S1

Linden continued to hover. Keeping an eye on the chasers.
 
Pulling his gaze away from Linden, René was startled by one of the blugders coming his way. Without time to aim, René hit it blindly, grimacing as it knocked into @Jordan Harris. "Sorry, man!"

Jordie couldn't be happier to see Linden at the hoops. He managed to score against him, and smirked, just before he felt the bludger hit him. Jordie yelped, spinning a bit before regaining control. He looked up, smiling through the tears at Rene. "Good hit," He squeaked.
 
Tilly watched as her bludger hit @Lucas Fletcher. She grinned apologetically and carried on.

Felix kept looking for the snitch.
 
Hoping Lucas was all right, Tilly moved back to defense.
 
René let out a low whistle when Tilly managed to hit Lucas, noticing that she moved on to work defense after and wondering if he should do the same or not.
 
Renata was determined to maybe finally hit a bludger to keep them away from the chasers or seekers but the universe had other plans for her today.
 
Unsure if he should try to follow one of the seekers for a bit or keep chasing bludgers, René ended up wasting a shot, hesitating long enough to the bludger to pass by before he could even raise his bat.
 
Leonardo grabbed the quaffle as it was thrown out after Jordie's success.
 
Blair just shot after Leo, looking forward to trying to score as well.
 
Linden watched as Jordie came closer to him. he guarded himself taking watch as the boy approached. Jordie shot and he missed. either the kid was getting better or he had lost his touch. "Good shot Jordie." he called. as he through the quaffle into play. he quickly followed by a "oof. are you okay?" as the chaser was hit by a bludger.
 
Jordie took a moment to catch his breath. "I'm good, I'm good." He wheezed, shooting Linden a smile and a thumbs up. "Good to have you back," he threw to the keeper before following after Leo. "You've got this kid!" He called out to the other chaser.
 
"Are you there, God? It's me, Renata," she muttered, managing to hit the bludger this time. She was aiming it towards a seeker, but it missed. It did manage to hit @Blair Bianchi instead. "Ah, sorry, sorry!"

Blair just shot a mad glance at the new beater, growled in pain and continued her way without replying to the girl. She wanted to keep calm but the pain of the bludger didn't help at all.
 
Zagreus chewed on the inside of his cheek as he hovered in front of the hoops and waited for someone to make a shot.
 
Tilly grinned when Renata made her first bludger hit, giving her a thumbs up. Then she noticed that @Blair Bianchi seemed to be struggling with the hit. Pulling up alongside her, she shouted, "You all right, Blair?"
 
When Leonardo was close enough he threw ball and was glad to watch it sail in.
 
Confident Blair wasn't going to need the Hospital Wing, Tilly moved on. She smiled when the quaffle sailed through the hoops. "Good shot, Leo!"
 
When no one else went for the ball, Leonardo flew forward and grabbed it. He needed to put in more work on scoring and now was the time to do it.
 
Tilly wondered who was going to catch the snitch first, Lucas or Felix. Thanks to her and Rene, they both had the same advantage when it came to bludgers.
 
Lucas grunted as the bludger hit him. He gave Tilly a reluctant thumbs up to show her he was okay. Then he resumed his search.
 
Leonardo got close to the hoop and after trying to feign going in one direction and throwing in the other all he did was miss. Leo was sure that he was missing and scoring in equal parts but it wasn't too bad. He knew he could do better.
 
Felix flew around the pitch solely focused on finding the snitch. It couldn't hide forever.
 
Tilly flew laps around the pitch, protecting her teammates.
