Zoe's Eighteenth

[Zoe-Hope Weasley]

Zoe was wearing a fancy strapless black shirt, with black jeans as she was taking out the bottles of firewhisky. She had bought the drinks with her fathers money. The other drinks she had were butterbeer and pumpkin juice, knowing Estrella wouldn't be able to drink the other two drinks. She also had out a few cauldron cakes, pumpkin pasties and variously flavoured chips. Zoe had invited a few people, just to celebrate her 18th birthday in style.

Her father was working late that night, and didn't know that she was having a 'party'. Zoe went to the radio, and turned on some music. She really enjoyed muggle music, and the one that was playing at that moment was Tic Toc by Kresha, which had a good beat. She ran to the mirror and checked on her make up, and ate a few more chips as she waited for her guests to arrive.

Lily followed the instructions that she got with her invitation and soon was facing a door. She raised her fist to knock, then adjusted her dress and the small bag she held over her arm. It wasn't much, but it was something that she was working on for the shop. She leaned from foot to foot as she waited for the door to be answered.

Zoe nearly jumped when she heard a knock on the door. She rushed to the black door, listening for the click as she unlocked the tricky lock. As she opened it, she had just finished crunching on the chip that was in her mouth. "Hey Lily! Thanks for coming!" She exclaimed as she gave her close friend a tight hug. "I think this the first time anyone has come into my dad's place before. What do you think?" She smiled. Soon she would begin to look for a place of her own. She liked being alone, and cooking, and doing all these stuff the muggle way. She had banked a lot of money since working at Gladrags, so she'd soon get her own flat.
