Closed Yule Be Dancing Soon

Felix was relieved when Molly agreed to go to the ball with him. He had never had a date to a school dance before and while they agreed to go as friends he was still excited. His brother didn't seem to have very good luck with dates and while Felix was certain he wouldn't make the same mistakes he was glad that he didn't have to deal with the pressure of a real date. But he still put some effort into looking nice tonight and told Molly to meet him in the great hall. He whistled to himself as he waited after getting a little over excited and arriving earlier than he meant to. Finally he spotted her and waved his hands in the air to get her attention. "Hey!" he said brightly and held out his arm for her. "Are you ready to have the best night ever?" he asked seriously.

Molly had been super excited about the yule ball dance and she was happy that she had agreed to go with Felix, even though it wasn't an official date or anything, she was glad that she wasn't going to the dance alone. She wanted to look presentable at the dance, deciding to wear a nice red dress that she had found while she packed for school last minute. Molly skipped happily towards the great hall where she had agreed to meet up with him. She waved big and excitedly when she saw him. "Hi!" Molly says with a giggle. She smiled as she gently grabbed the boy's held out arm. "I sure am," Molly says, as she tries to match the boy's serious tone, without trying to giggle.

Felix hadn't expected Molly to dress quite so nicely. It was always weird to see all his classmates dressed up for the ball when he normally saw them in their every day robes and t-shirts. "Perfect!" he said excitedly as Molly took his arm and they walked in together. "So I was thinking we can hit all the best parts of a yule ball. First get snacks so we can get ready to dance. Then when we get tired we can grab some presents to open until we're ready to dance some more." he rambled all in one breath. The Yule Ball wasn't Felix's favorite school event but he was ready to try and make the most of it anyways.
