Josh wandered into the study, looking forward to relaxing a bit with the guys. He had come, not exactly telling Blake where he was going. That choice was for the best because of his son's history with the happy couple. He understood, but yet, he hoped that with time, Blake would move past the heartbreak that he was dealing with because of the marriage. Josh knew that Blake still was in love with Lily, and after speaking with her, knew she still loved him too, but was just not in love with him. He did not blame her. They were young and both made mistakes in the end. Someday, Blake would be able to move past things and hopefully forgive himself and Lily, but Josh was well aware that it was going to take time.
Hearing his friend's son screaming out at his wife, Josh moved quickly to where the boys were seated and stopped. There were three of the boys struggling to get up from the chairs. He couldn't help but laugh. Loudly. Sumner screaming revenge at Lily only added to his mirth. "Merlin, how did you three manage to get duped by a girl?" he choked out between laughs. Others came in as his laughter echoed into the hallway, joining in with his merriment at the sight of the three.
After much torture, Josh finally relented and released the spell from the chairs with his wand, having cast 'finite' on the other chairs in the room before anyone else was stuck to their seats. Of course, it was fun to torture the boys, and he was in for it when he finally released Sumner.
The party lasted for quite a few hours, with lots of jokes and a plot of revenge on the women. Over all, it was a wonderful night, one well spent with family and friends.
