You're the One I Want

November felt like as though she was literally the luckiest girl on the planet. She couldn't believe how things had turned out. Her cousin spilled her crush on Flavio to Flavio himself at the beginning of the year in September. But he ended up having the same feelings for her in a weird turn of events. Ever since they had been hanging out, though he was the one who labeled it as just more than friends. She was beginning to wonder if their hanging out as more than friends was ever going to turn into a dating thing or not. It was nice spending the extra time with Flavio and knowing they shared feelings for each other but it was weird to not be labeled as a real couple. She had dreamed about being a couple for so long and now she felt like they were at a standstill of just hanging out. They were hanging out a lot but she wasn't sure what that meant, they were hanging out they like used to do but now it was as more than friends. She liked holding hands with him, that was nice. She came as Sandy to the Halloween feast and he was going to be Danny, though he hadn't ever seen the musical before she had told him the entire storyline before. Standing near the door to the Great Hall November waited for her more than just a friend Flavio.

Flavio had never seen the musical 'Grease' before, but after being told all about it by November and seeing pictures of what the main characters looked like, he had agreed to pair up with her in dressing as Sandy and Danny for Halloween. His costume was considerably easy to put together, with the main focus being the greaser hair and a leather jacket. The part that appealed to Flavio the most was that the costume did not involve fake fangs, which had been the most awkward part of his vampire costume the previous year. No, in comparison to dressing as a vampire, going as Danny Zuko was simple which was what was going to make his Halloween fun. Well that and spending time with November of course. After Flavio was all dressed up and content with his hair style, he walked down from Ravenclaw house to the great hall. When he spotted November waiting for him, he smiled as he approached her, exclaiming "Sandy!" in greeting before pulling her into a hug. "Should we go in and dance?" He then asked as he pulled away, remembering that the movie characters danced together during the movie and thinking that the dance floor was therefore the best place for them to begin their night.

November had a big grin on her face as she was swept into a hug. It was Flavio who was hugging her, best friend and more than just a friend now. She was laughing by the time he pulled away seeing his outfit for the first time. He really did pull something together to really look like Danny. He was adorable even though she was certain most of the people in the Great Hall would had never seen Grease or heard of the movie before. "Of course, Danny!" She said grabbing his hand and pulling him into the Great Hall. She was slightly unsteady in her high heels, never really wearing them before. Tonight was also the first time she had spent a long time getting herself ready. But she wasn't doing it for a vain reason or just for fun like Amber did. It was part of the costume, she needed to do the full thing and have the hair and everything of Sandy.

Flavio smiled as November agreed to dance, and allowed her to lead him into the great hall. The atmosphere was better than it had been last year although Flavio was unsure if it was due to the fact the decorations were better, that he was feeling more comfortable in his costume, or the company he was keeping. But regardless he was happy to be there and make the most of the night with November. As they reached the dance floor, Flavio paused, looking to the other couples on the dance floor and noting they way they were dancing. He pulled November closer by her hand and attempted to dance similarly. Dancing had never been his strong suit, at least in his own opinion and especially not to fast paced songs, but he tried not to show it and focused on having fun, not wanting to think negatively about a night that was supposed to be happy. Flavio's attention wavered between the dance floor and looking around the hall. After a few minutes he looked down to November, asking "Are you having fun so far?" and hoping that she was enjoying the night. He was enjoying his night so far, at least, and wanted November to feel the same.​

November was all smiles as Sandy tonight. The tight pants and high heels and the makeup were things not normal for her but she was having fun. Flavio was being so sweet and she was really enjoying dancing with him even if she was afraid she was going to break her ankles in the shoes. She held on to him tightly but hoped he didn't mind her doing so. "I'm having a lot of fun!" She replied with a big smile and a giggle. She was surprised in the heels how she still didn't match up to Flavio's height, but she didn't really mind. It was nice being shorter than him and she put her head on his shoulder for a moment. Enjoying the moment she spotted some of the other 5th years around the room but quickly turned back to focus on Flavio. "Interesting in getting some treats?" She asked after they had been dancing for quite some time.
