Leo had decided to take a break from New Zealand for a while. Ever since he had broken up with Alyssa he had been avoiding it with hopes that he wouldn't run into Alyssa or that french boy that she had left her talking too. He knew he should have felt bad about leaving her the way he did but she was the one who had used her veela charm on her. He had spent months thinking none stop about her and to find out those feelings weren't even real, well it was a blow to the system. Thankfully one of his mates had got him to snap out of it one night and if he hadn't he probably would still be gaga over some veela.
Shaking his head of thoughts of her Leo made plans for the rest of his life. Right now he was still too young to actually care about a job or anything grown up like that. He was still 17 and nearly 18, he wanted to have some fun and now he was free of school he was planning on starting out on that fun as of now. Walking through Diagon Alley he laughed as he watched the little soon-to-be first years all excited at getting their first set of school supplies for Hogwarts in the Fall, They'll learn he thought to himself with a roll of his eyes. Walking past one of the stalls he picked up the latest edition of the Daily Prophet to see if he could get any ideas on somewhere to start his journey around the world - yes it was a typical thing for students just out of school to do, but he was a typical student just out of school.
