Open Yellow Rose Disturbances

Open After. Yellow rose for @Adorah Zumwalt ​

The library was always a good place to find people, though perhaps not the best place for it. She was told by one of the other students that she'd find the next person, Adorah here. In amongst the books. The teen had been pointed in a certain direction, but couldn't be certain. She knew the girl from the heta omega but that was all she knew about her. Eventually she spotted in the astronomy section a girl whom she was fairly positive was Adorah, "Adorah Zumwalt?" she said with a questioning, waiting for the girl to react and say either yes or no. ​

Adorah had retreated back to her usual study spot. The Ravenclaw Common Room had been too crowded since most people didn't work as hard at the beginning of the semester. She was sitting among the Astronomy books studying for Defense Against the Dark Arts when a vaguely familiar girl approached her. She looked up with a confused look on her face. This girl was much older. Was she in trouble? Had she forgotten to attend a class? Her heart started to race as she sputtered out, "Y-yes?"

Signy was pleased when the girl confirmed that she was who Signy had been looking for. The hufflepuff's expression brighten and she walked over to her, taking a seat next to her, standing above her would probably be quite rude of her. "I have a rose for you," Signy said with a friendly tone, she reached into her bucket and pulled out a yellow rose with the accompanying note and held both out to her. "It comes with a note which tell you who its from so long as they've signed it,"​

Adorah's eyes followed the girl as she sat beside her and told her she had a rose. She didn't understand why she would be receiving one. However, she recalled hearing about the roses people were sending each other around Valentine's Day. She took the flower and note from the older girl and opened it. As she read the note, she gave a small smile and looked up at the deliverer. "Thank you for the flower," she said, clutching the paper towards her chest. She turned back towards her book and placed the note down, smoothing it out. It had taken a few months, but she had finally started making friends. She had at least one friend who had cared enough to send her a rose. She carefully folded the note and stuck it in the robe of her pocket for safe keeping.

Signy smiled softly at the girl as she thanked her for the rose, it had been of little trouble to Signy, "You are very welcome Adorah! Have a good day," she told the younger girl with a wide and warm smile before heading away, there were still people to find!
