Yellow rose for @Emery Mettlestone

Elise was ready for a break and was glad to make her way to the Ravenclaw table. But before she sat down she noticed a familiar name on her list and went to find them. She didn't know Briony's brother well but she did at least know what he looked like, which made finding him in the crowd of other Ravenclaw students much easier. Finally she spotted him and walked right up. "Hello, I have a delivery for you." she said simply.

Emery had just received a rose while eating and was rushing to finish his food so he could hide away in the common room. He looked up when a girl approached him, grimacing a little. He blinked as he recognised her. "You're Briony's friend." He said, remembering her vaguely. "Oh, okay." He said when he registered she had something for him.

Elise smiled a little as Emery seemed to recognize her and she nodded. "I am." she said and blinked at him. "Did you send her a rose today?" she asked as the thought occurred to her. She had sent one to her brother, and even Dorian. Before he could answer she reached into her basket to pull out the rose and note that were for him.

Emery took the rose from Elise and opened the note. He glanced at the girl as she asked if he had sent Briony one. "No, I don't do roses." He told her coolly. "Thanks for this anyway."

Elise gave Emery an odd look when he said he didn't do roses and didn't even send one to his sister. She felt a sense of injustice on her friends behalf and put her hands on her hips. "Well my brother sent me a rose." she pointed out. Even Dorian had sent her one.

Emery raised his eyebrows slightly. "Good for him." He said dryly.
