Professor Styx led the two contestants to the stage, appointing them into the north or south part of the stage. He informed them of the rules, the points, and made sure they were aware of what not to do. He instructed, "Begin."

The duel begins now. You have 24 hours to post, or face disqualification. Ensure that you use the spell list for guidance on age-appropriate spells, and read over the dueling rules and points system. If you are knocked out or otherwise disarmed/incapacitated, or if you run out of points, you will lose and the duel will end. Have fun! Be creative!

Spectators are allowed to post in this topic once per competitors post, but are forbidden from directly interfering with the duels. Duelers cannot cast spells at the spectators or face disqualification.

Oz had been pushed pretty hard in the duel against Bailey, she'd been tough competition and he'd been lucky to be awarded the win. But he wasn't going to let that show as he bowed towards June and raised his wand. She was a mean girl, and he felt a bit more motivated to beat her. He wasted no time firing off a jelly brain jinx as soon as the formalities were over.

June was very pleased she had won her first round from Santiago. She knew she was the better one and it was luck for him previous time she now certainly knew. Although she still was slightly impressed by how long he kept up with her. Now her second duel was against the little Hufflepuff boy. June didn't liked him, not even only because he was an Hufflepuff. June watched the Hufflepuff with an confident smirk and bowed with her wand in her hand. And let him start off. June casted an shielding charm and blocked his attempt. And quickly casted an firemaking spell towards him, aiming at his robes. She didn't want to hold back in her spell choices. One thing she learned from Celia.

Oz took a deep breath and quickly blocked the spell, getting into the rhythm of the duel. June was playing harsh, so he would too. He quickly shot back a slug-vomiting curse. It wasn't exactly a spell he liked, nor was it part of a general good strategy. He just thought maybe it would be good for June to have a good old fashioned slug vomiting session.

June kept her focus and concentrated herself on what was happening in front of her. The spell choices of Oz were lame to June, but she didn't expect anything else. Although eating slugs would be a disaster, she blocked it easily with an shielding charm. And quickly decided what her next spell was gonna be, one she liked. '' Everte Statum!'' She casted in his way. He was tiny so didn't need much to blew him over.
