Y45 Quidditch Game: Beauxbatons vs Ilvermorny

Hadrian knew he couldn't get too carried away, and followed the Beauxbatons chaser looking for a chance to steal.
 
Vincent continued on his flight to find the snitch.
 
Light went up to the goals, and hurled the quaffle in. He smirked as he managed to give his team ten points.
 
Larissa frowned when Beauxbatons evened the score. She sighed and swung a bludger toward their seeker, but the bludger went way too wide.
 
Zoey sighed as Beauxbatons scored too. She just had too keep things even. She grabbed the quaffle as Pearl threw it back into the game and started her way towards the other hoops.
 
Bellamy was feeling pretty awful about letting the first goal past him. He though things would be a bit easier after being on the team for so long, but playing in the game was very different. He kept his eyes on the quaffle as it headed his way again.
 
Melrose had done a sort of awkward wiggle in celebration when Hadrian scored but his mood was quickly soured when Beauxbaton's returned the favour. At least Zoey had the quaffle now instead of him. He wasn't sure he could handle the pressure.
 
Vincent thought that he saw a glimmer of gold. He darted after it, but it vanished just as fast as he saw it.
 
Light followed after the chaser in case he had an opportunity to steal it.
 
Larissa flew in search of a bludger.
 
Zoey approached the hoops with a decent amount of speed and before she could over think it she tossed it towards the center hoop and felt a wave of relief to see it sail through.
 
Bellamy felt completely out of it as he missed blocking another shot. But he chased after it and tossed it back into the game hoping their chasers could at least keep things even.
 
Nabi kept on flying around, looking for the snitch
 
Alicia couldn't believe she had been hit by a bludger already. She grit her teeth and kept going, grabbing the quaffle as it was thrown into play.
 
Vincent continued his search, frowning as Ilvermorny scored once more.
 
Light wondered if their keeper was having an off day. He circled and followed behind Alicia if she needed the support.
 
Larissa wished that she could hit another bludger and get their seeker out.
 
Melrose let out a sigh of relief as Zoey scored, putting them back in the lead. Not that he really doubted her. Beauxbatons had the quaffle again though and even as Melrose turned to chase them he felt uneasy. The girl with the quaffle looked closer to his age than some of the other French chasers but the idea of trying to tackle or steal the quaffle made him feel queasy.
 
Ocean looked for another bludger.

Hadrian was kind of anxious about this, not having practiced stealing much out of solidarity with Melrose and fear of Zoey, but he saw his opportunity and swept in to grab the quaffle off the Beauxbatons girl. Who still looked like she'd beat him up, but at least he wouldn't have to see her in class.
 
Malik was not having much luck with the bludgers.
 
Ocean chased a bludger.
 
Hadrian was perhaps getting cocky, or perhaps the keeper was a bit more on their game, but the quaffle did not go through the hoops. He looked a little sheepish.
 
Ocean swung her bat at the bludger and was glad she hit it, but her aim was way off and the bludger sailed towards @Tullia Whitlock instead.
 
Nabi kept looking around for the snitch.
