Y43 S1 Ilvermorny Quidditch Practice

Dion at least attempted to try to hit the next bludger, but it was way off. He was not very good at this, but he was mostly here for some fun. Plus, he wasn't allowed to jinx the bludgers, or the story would be very different. "Of course," he agreed, smirking. "Then you can do my nails and we can talk about boys," Dion teased, though quietly he was a little pleased to have a couple of people he might be able to actually call friends. That was pretty lame to admit though so he didn't.

Felicity wove her broom in a serpentine pattern as she and Dion talked, only keeping enough of an eye on the bludgers to be sure one wasn't going to hit her. "You joke but I would love that, I feel like you could really rock some dark green nails. Oh or maybe blue, brings out your eyes," she said, pointing her bat at Gwydion before tossing her own blue hair with a smile.

Felicity gave Gwydion a little hum, hoping he'd think about her nail art suggestion before having to stop suddenly as a bludger crossed her path, holding onto her bucking broom tightly. Not the smoothest move, maybe she should pay more attention.

When none of the other chasers seemed intersted Noah swooped in to catch the quaffle again. He turned around to get some distance between himself and the hoops since they only had one keeper, making way towards Felicity and Dion. "Lovely little tea party you guys have got going on here." He laughed as he flew past them.

Abigail was frustrated with herself for letting Noah steal the quaffle earlier, she managed to steal it from him this time. As she passed Felicity and Dion, she snapped at them. "Stop chatting and play!"

Nabi looked around for the snitch. It was nowhere to be seen.

Noah groaned when Abigail stole the quaffle from him, quickly flying after her just in case.

Felicity had been trying to think of something clever to say back to Noah when Abigail snapped at them, flinching and frowning before adjusting her grip on her bat. It would have been great if she could hit a bludger in response right now but she had been too busy chatting to know where they were right now...

Micha was so focused on his search he didn't hear what the others were talking about but glanced at them just in case he was needed.

Abigail flew up to the hoops and scored easily, smiling in satisfaction.

Noah caught the quaffle when it was thrown back out after Abigail had scored and flew off with it.

Not wanting to immediately appear cowed by Abigail, Felicity flew a little slower than she normally would as she started trying to track down bludgers.

Noah aimed his shot when he got close enough to the hoops and threw the quaffle through.

Felicity gave Noah a little cheer as he made another goal, glad for a little excuse to spite Abigail just a bit longer while still having some plausible deniability.

Noah grinned when Felicity cheered, giving her a casual salute as he waited to see if any of the other chasers would go for the quaffle

Dion had been about to speak when Abigail snapped. "Sorry, mum," he muttered when she was out of earshot, giving Noah and Felicity a helpless shrug as he chased after a bludger.

Pearl was trying her best, but perhaps her lies were being a little caught out as she failed to do much to prevent the goals.

When none of the other chasers went for the quaffle Noah flew forward to catch it himself.

Felicity was tempted to fly over and chat with the new girl though she figured she should maybe hit a bludger or two first just to appease the captains.

Noah took a lap around the pitch before heading back towards the hoops, slightly disappointed when his shot got blocked.

Felicity liked to think she was a fine beater when she actually put the effort in but now that she was looking for bludgers properly, it was disheartening to not be able to catch them. She'd just have to chalk it up to lack of practice over the holidays and still being tired from running a lap.

Dion was doing quite terribly at having bludgers connect with anyone, even the ones he did manage to hit. He was more power than finesse, since this was more an exercise in letting off steam to him. As long as he didn't mention that around Abigail, as he didn't want to have a certain part of his anatomy busted.

Felicity finally caught up to a bludger, trying to 'pass' it along near Gwydion to trade hits and only succeeding in nearly spinning her own broom as the bludger hit her bat with more force than she'd hit it, making her dizzy as she righted herself.
