Abigail was determined to keep their streak this year, so she was serious about practices. She was sure the team knew this about her by now, and if they wanted to complain she hoped they did it outside her earshot. Once everyone arrived, she spoke. "You know the drill, we're running a lap around the pitch before we even touch our brooms, it's a good warmup." She told them sternly. "Then I want to see you all play your best, like this is a real game. If I see anyone slacking it will be noted." She said, frowning at the team members. "No time for questions. Run your lap, then get to the air." She said, gesturing for them to start. She got started herself, running a lap around the pitch as quickly as she could before making her way back to her broom. She didn't grab the quaffle just yet wondering if any of the other chasers would show initiative.

OOCOut of Character:
Practice is open instantly, please RP running a lap around the pitch before getting on your broom!

Noah was keen on getting back to practice, even if he wasn't entirely looking forward to Abigai's bossy attitude again. Once he reached the pitch he took a stand with the others and listened to what she had to say, shooting Dion a look when the captain mentioned running a lap around the pitch. He could sort of get where that idea came from but he still wasn't a fan. Surely, a group stretching session would get them the same result? Nevertheless, Noah ran the lap in a quick pace and hopped onto his broom when he had finished, making sure to grab the quaffle in the process.

Micha was eager to get to practice and stood supportively by Abigail as she addressed the team. Even when she mentioned running a lap before getting in the air. "Come one everybody!" he said cheerfully as he started his own lap. He was embarrassingly out of breath by the time he grabbed his broom but he gave the team an encouraging thumbs up before taking to the air.

Dion rolled his eyes at Noah when he was sure Abigail wasn't looking. Running laps? Weren't they on brooms? He mindlessly swayed his bat from side to side as they were lectured, feeling rather like he was in class. But he did a lap, jogging rather than sprinting. He didn't want to break too much of a sweat already, after all. Dion then took to the air looking for bludgers to hit, but was not successful with his first swing missing.

Micha kept an eye on the team but kept looking for the snitch.

Felicity didn't bother to hold back her groan when Abigail announced they were running laps again before practice this year, slumping her shoulders and starting a pathetic little jog around the pitch. She'd been hoping to catch up with some of the other players, maybe show of her new blue hair, but she had to focus on her breathing and just getting around the pitch. At least Gwydion was also not running too fast so she had a little company before they finally got back to their brooms. "I swear the pitch is waaay bigger when you're on the ground," she said tiredly, grateful to finally be kicking back into the air.

Noah headed for the hoops and mindlessly tossed the quaffle at them. It had been a sloppy shot so he wasn't surprised it didn't make it through. He blamed the mandatory warm up.

Felicity's limbs still felt like lead after the run and she wasn't keen to really start in on any bludgers yet, rubbing her hands over her arms to chase away the tiredness and a bit of the chill as she flew.

Noah hung back to see if anyone else would go for the quaffle when it was thrown back out.

Abigail looked at Noah disapprovingly as he failed to score. She grabbed the quaffle once it was thrown back into play, ready to show him how it was done.

Nabi hated running a lap around the pitch, it made her so tired! She was glad to get on her broom, taking to the air as soon as she could.

It was kind of weird to think that Micha (and Abigail) would be graduating this year, though she was pleased that Nabi would hopefully be taking over as their next seeker, knocking a bludger vaguely away from her as she passed. It would be good to keep up their streak of having a Pukwudgie seeker after all.

Dion was doing an appalling job at hitting bludgers, but he blamed the warm-up. Felicity was great company, and the blue hair was cute on her, so that put him in a better mood. "Hope they aren't expecting us to go for a run before the match," he groaned, giving a few practice swings to at least look like he was doing something.

Noah stayed on Abigail's tail as she made off with the quaffle.

"Oh Merlin can you imagine," Felicity said with an appalled expression, glad that Gwydion was there to distract her from not finding any bludgers. "Besides, if we need to warm up anything, it's our arms," she said pointedly, swinging her bat at an invisible bludger for emphasis.

rule 2a

Noah saw an opportunity to steal the quaffle from Abigail and did so quickly, grinning at her as he pushed forward with it now tucked under his arm.

"Right?" Dion said with a grin, pointedly doing some arm stretches. Or an approximation of them. More showing he was doing them than actually stretching, just in case Abigail decided to tell him off. "Nice one, Noah!" he called, glad to see his classmate going for it.

Felicity smiled back at Gwydion as he agreed with her, distracted like him by Noah making a move on Abigail and grinning as he succeeded. She was more intrigued by Gwydion's support too, leaning a little closer on her broom. "Ohh are you guys like proper friends now you were at the same school right but I always got the vibe that it was a little weird," she asked, weaving back and forth on her broom as she tried to squeeze out some gossip.

Noah grinned when he heard someone calling his name, wasting no time in heading for the hoops and throwing the quaffle through. He also couldn't help but to turn around after and see how Abigail would respond after the look of disapproval she had shot him before.

Felicity did her best to whistle as Noah made a goal, not able to pull it off with her fingers and settling for just a regular normal whistle instead.

"I'm not too much of an a***hole to admit I should do better at the banter with the lads thing," Dion grinned, swinging his bat in an approximation of hitting a bludger despite none being near him. "Haven't made a friendship bracelet yet, but I can learn." He raised an eyebrow, smirking at Felicity.

Felicity laughed at Gwydion's response, thoroughly enjoying when he went all British-y like that. "Ohh that'd be soo cute, you should do it," she said, swinging her bat for emphasis, surprised when her bat actually connected and hit @Pearl Parra

Bludger Hits said:

Dion chuckled at the idea of him, of all people, sitting around making friendship bracelets and flower crowns and other such things, so much so that when he did hit a bludger it was a very pathetic hit that went nowhere near anyone. He blamed his arm shaking. "Nice shot," he said to Felicity approvingly, even if he felt a bit sorry for their keeper.

Micha was glad to see the beaters making some progress even if they were talking more than he'd like. If they were getting results who was he to complain? He kept up his search and kept going.

Felicity gave a proud wiggle at Dion's compliment, ignoring the fact the hit had mostly been on accident. "Thanks. So if you make Noah a friendship bracelet, I get one too right," she said, speeding up a bit to keep up with her fellow beater.
