Y39 Beauxbatons Quidditch Practice S1

Amelie continued humming softly as she searched for the snitch.
 
No bludgers were in sight which frustrated Élise. Luckily she had a seeker to protect so it wasn't like she had nothing to do.
 
Aramis could hear Amelie humming again as she shot past, idly wondering what music she was always listening to.
 
Gaby wasn't sure what juice the beaters had been drinking but they seemed to be off to a good start and she could only hope things would go as well in their upcoming match. After having watched the others play for a second she pushed forward again, flying after Ares.
 
Ava looked for another bludger to hit.
 
Aramis watched Ares with the quaffle, wondering if he'd head back his way or take a shot at the empty hoops at the other side of the pitch.
 
Amelie continued humming, searching for the snitch with little success.
 
Aramis leant forward, resting his forearms on the front of his broom as he waited for the chasers to come back closer to his side of the pitch.
 
Amelie continued her search.
 
When Ares made it close enough, he attempted to score and sighed as it bounced off the edge of the hoop and didn't make it through.
 
Amelie continued her search.
 
Gemma looked at the new beater again after she made another hit. "Looks like it!" she called back to Aramis after he got hit. At least he couldn't blame her, or at least not yet. She kept watch for more bludgers as she kept close to Amelie.
 
Aramis grabbed the quaffle, chucking it back out to the chasers and grinning over at Gemma as she called back to him. While it made practice rough, it was nice to think at least during a game, the beaters would all be on their side.
 
Amelie stilled, undoing and redoing her hair a moment as she searched the skies.
 
Gemma raced to meet a bludger that was heading her way. She was able to hit it away but her aim was off and it sailed uselessly away.
 
Amelie watched Gemma hit a bludger before returning to her search.
 
Gemma wasted no time racing after a bludger and managed to swat it with her bat with impressive force. She had been aiming for Hugo before he had ducked down to search for the snitch and ended up hitting Ares instead. @Ares Kuya-Tine

The other Beaters seemed to have a golden touch. So far she had hit nothing which was particularly annoying.
 
Amelie hummed softly and continued her search.
 
Gaby watched as Ares' shot bounced off the hoop before catching the quaffle when Aramis threw it back out and setting off to take a lap around the pitch. She slowed down for a second when she noticed the boy get hit by a bludger before continuing on.
 
Ava grinned at the older players' comments as she looked around for another bludger to hit.
 
The bludgers weren't exactly working for her and it frustrated Élise. She had shown her abilities, but it did annoy her some bit.
 
Once she felt like she had gotten enough distance in Gaby circled back towards the hoops and made her shot, quite pleased when the quaffle sailed through again.
 
Ava noticed another bludger nearby and swung her bat at it, pleased when it hit its target but simultaneously feeling a bit bad about hitting @Amelie Derouin twice now and deciding she’d aim for someone else next time.
