Micha thought he saw a flash of gold and chased it for a moment only for it to disappear after he blinked a few times. He just hoped he wasn't starting to hallucinate.
 
Not seeing an opening to pass, Lucas flew back towards Adam and threw the ball, insanely pleased when it flew past the other boy.
 
AJ circled past the other bludger, trying to knock it away from Hope. He did succeed. Until the bludger looped right back and AJ had to duck, grimacing and turning around to check on @Hope Thompson as the bludger hit her anyway.

Micha couldn't find the snitch and it was starting to feel personal now.
 
AJ hovered awkwardly by Hope, feeling terrible he'd hit hurt, even accidentally, and wanting to be sure she was okay before he carried on.
 
Micha sighed and blew his hair out of his face, trying to keep his eyes clear so he could see the snitch if it ever wanted to show itself again.
 
Spotting a bludger coming back towards them and not wanting Hope to get hit again, AJ knocked it away, watching it sail back over to the chasers to hit @Abigail Martin this time.

AJ was in good form today, and Eli felt a bit frustrated that he wasn't doing as well. He also hoped the team wasn't too hurt, maybe they would need a break soon.
 
Abigail flew up to Lucas when she was hit by a bludger. She yelped, tears stinging in her eyes.
 
Adam blew his whistle to call a timeout, and touched down to the pitch. ”Water break. Five minutes, then get back here.” He said curtly. He needed the rest, since the beaters were deciding to do their best to sabotage the team today. Everyone had taken a few too many hits, and he needed to stretch out his own aching muscles and catch his breath properly. He strutted off to get a drink and replenish, before returning to take his position back at the hoops.

AJ was relieved when Adam called a time out. He knew there’d been a lot of bludgers flying and his own arms were tired from the game too. He took the time to stretch and hang his arms loose before getting back in his broom again.
 
(Awe, but dying might be fun :oy:)

Hyun was not prepared for the second bludger hit, wincing as he gritted his teeth. He was thankful when a break was called, landing back on the ground and grabbing a quick drink. But he was back on his broom again in no time, taking possession of the quaffle once the practice was back in session.
 
Feeling better after the quick break, AJ was quick to track down another bludger, knocking it @Eli Carter's way.

Micha was grateful for the break and hoped it might give him a fresh start to find the snitch again but so far he wasn't having any luck.
 
AJ circled back around, wary that Eli might knock the bludger back his way or even towards Hope.
 
Hope sighted as she didn’t got any luck. And than an bludger hit her again. The beaters were doing an good job hopefully they would be as good at the game that would help her. She knew AJ didn’t want to hurt her so continued.
 
AJ wasn't able to get closer to any bludgers again yet, so he stuck near Hope a bit longer.
 
Micha thought he might have been hallucinating the gold flash out of the corner of his eye but when he turned to get a better look it was still there. With out a second thought he raced after it and shouted at his teammates to get out of the way as he flew as fast as his broom would take him. After a final push of speed he gripped the snitch in his hand and held it up to show it off to anyone around him. Micha was quite proud of himself as he let it go to try again.
 
AJ was distracted from his bludger hunt when Micah shot past, grinning when he grabbed the snitch. It was a shame it wasn’t Hope, but AJ liked to think it boded well for the team anyway.

Hope sighted as she flew along. She tried to have faith but it was hard. And as she saw Micha close and again with the snitch she wanted to flew of. Ashamed that she didn't got it. She sighted and flew quickly in another direction trying to find it again.
 
AJ frowned, watching Hope dejectedly change directions. He twirled his bat absently, hoping she could catch the snitch as well soon.
 
Hope thought she saw something sparkly and gold and flew after it. Flying an bit higher.
 
Hope took off after what AJ hoped was the snitch, but AJ hung back to take a swing at a passing bludger. He got the momentum wrong though and it spun off and hit @Adam Everett by mistake.

Micha still couldn't believe he had caught the snitch again. He wasn't optimistic that he would managed a third before practice was over but he would try anyways.
 
Hope continued and continued. But the golden snitch seemed to be hiding for her.
