This was it, they'd finally hit the last round of duels and Angel couldn't be more relieved. He hadn't considered just how many matches he'd need to proctor before he could call it a day and there were only so many times he could watch kids try to stun each other before he needed a break. "Welcome to your final round of duelling! The victor will be crowned our third year champion so without further ado, when you're ready, please bow to your opponent and begin!" He said with a flourish, motioning the students onto the stage and letting them get started.
The duel begins now. You have 24 hours from this to post your first reply, or face disqualification. Once both duelists have posted, you will have 24 hours from your opponents post to reply, or be disqualified. Ensure that you use the spell list for guidance on age-appropriate spells, and read over the dueling rules and points system. Duels will run until there is a winner or until 6 IRL days have passed, in which case the winner will be chosen by RNG. If you are knocked out or otherwise disarmed/incapacitated, or if you run out of points, you will lose and the duel will end. Have fun!

As an added note: Spectators are allowed to post in this topic once per competitors post, but are forbidden from directly interfering with the duels.

Blair couldn't believe she got so far in the duels. It was only a one more round until she found out the results of all this, but she was enjoying this event a lot. "Good luck," she let quietly out in a broken English while bowing. And when she got in her place, she shot the spell immediately. "Incendio!" Why she would go easy in the first place? It was the most important round.

He was in the finals, he had finally made it. Not that he was surprised in the slightest. The girl opposite was just the final hurdle in the way before he could be named champion. He quickly bowed as he raised his wand, however, the Hufflepuff managed to beat him to the punch and before he realized what was going on, his sleeve was on fire. "Holy-!" he cut off, wildly flapping his arm to try and put the small fire. Thankfully, he did manage to put it out before any massive damage was done before he scowled at the girl. "Are you trying to burn me alive? Expelliarmus!" Not the best of starts he did have to admit.

Blair let out a laugh, she didn't think that any harm could be actually caused to him, professors were there for a reason. And she blocked the spell, and immediately shot back another. "Furnunculus! Man, don't be so mad. You're fine and what is the fun if there's no fire?" She seemed to having her moment of pride, but she kept in the fighting position. "And if I wanted to do so, I wouldn't do it next to professor," she shrugged.

(Flynn was hit by her last spell, so you forgot to add -20 for that, just so you know! So I think she should currently be at 115 points instead of 135)

He was still scowling as he blocked her next spell. "I could have not been fine. What if I got a serious burn or something?" Thankfully, that hadn't happened and he was fine, but still. But he was not going to waste any time in arguing about it, sending back a Jelly Brain Jinx. If she couldn't think properly, then she could hardly duel properly and he could wrap this up already.

Blair almost rolled her eyes at him but kept it back, trying to not lose the focus on him. "Nothing happened, you're alive, right? What's the problem then?" She replied and blocked the spell again. She liked the spell he used but didn't say that out loud. Instead she sent him a bedazzling hex.

She didn't seem to understand and so Flynn so no point in bickering about it further. There was a duel he needed to win. Throwing up another shield charm to protect himself, he was quick to retaliate with a Slug Vomiting Curse. Something which had rather become a favourite of his during this tournament.

Blair didn't mind at all that the conversation stopped, he wasn't a girl and Blair currently tended more to find girl friends in her year before actually settling perfectly in. She tried to block the spell but something went of and she was too late. The spell hit her and she put the hand on her mouth and catching the slug. "Fu*k, ew," she threw it on the floor and casted again. "Petrificus Totalus," she let out in one breath before vomiting the slug again. She wasn't ever going to use this spell again now, after she had experienced it on her own. And right after that slug she let out a loud: "Бл**ь," put her hand on her mouth and looked up at the professor. "Sorry!"

That one in italic is just Russian swear word time to learn Russian swear words, yay! that has a meaning but I won't translate it, just Slavics (probably Balkans too, but Baltics surely) use it more often than they use punctuation marks

A grin curved on his features when his rather lovely slug curse happened to hit. It always was amusing to watch. And he was sure this was going to give him the upper hand, it was very hard to try and cast spells and block them while you were busy throwing up slugs (something he knew from experience, unfortunately). Blocking her next spell he waited before his counter-attacking, choosing to send another Expelliarmus her way just as she was about to throw up, hoping that she wouldn't have the time to get up a shield charm as she was vomiting up a slug.

Blair was getting mad about the slugs and the fact that she was vomiting them. She also saw him casting spell right when she was about to vomit one and she fastly got on her knees to dodge it. She hated dodging spells but there was no other choice. She sent back the same Slug Vomiting Curse. "Су*а," she let out another swear word after letting out another slug, it was painful.

As soon as a Slug curse came right back at him, Flynn was quick to block it. "Absolutely not," he had already been through that horror once this tournament and he was not going through it again. But he now had his tactic in place, watching the Hufflepuff closely before once again sending his counter-attack right as she appeared to be throwing up, this time a nice Jelly Fingers hex. If she couldn't hold her wand, then she couldn't duel.

Blair wanted to say something when she heard his reaction to the curse but the slug stopped her from that. And when he was sending her the next spell, she thought the slug was coming again but luckily it seemed just as a gag réflex and she had the chance to block it. She managed to cast the jelly brain jinx before the next slug. She wasn't going to lose just because of some slugs that were hurting her throat.

Why wouldn't she just lose already? While Flynn knew it was completely possible to duel and throw up slugs at the same time, it was still annoying. Blocking her next spell with a scowl, he thought about things for just a moment before flinging an easy Rictusempra across the platform at her. Watching her uncontrollably laugh while throwing up slugs would be amusing to no end. Not to mention make it near impossible to actually duel properly.

"Oh, you wish," Blair let out and blocked the spell. Spit out the slug that was still in her mouth, with that letting out a few more swear words. "Stupefy!" she casted the spell again and slowly understood that the slugs weren't already as much as they were before.

Flynn was not losing this duel. Coming runner-up sucked. Blocking her next spell with a flick of his wand, Flynn could feel himself growing more irritated, quickly running through spells in his head before sending another Petrificus Totalus across at the Hufflepuff.

Well, at least she wasn't trying to set him on fire anymore. But she still wasn't making it easy, the scowl still on his face as he blocked her next spell. It seemed as though the slugs were starting to wear off as well and he was almost considering sending another curse at her to start them again. But, in the end, he thought against it and instead sent a quick Stupefy back at her.

Blair was feeling amazing that the slugs weren't as much as before. So she was sure she is pretty much back on track and blocked the spell easily, and right after that sent back the jelly brain jinx. If he caught that spell, it would be way easier for her to win.

Flynn could feel himself starting to get worn out, so he could only imagine what the girl was feeling having been throwing up slugs on top of everything. Gritting his teeth, he set up another shield charm to protect himself, taking just a moment to take a breath before shooting back with another Expelliarmus.
