Y37 Duelling Match #3

[Professor Matt Alcott-Ward]

Matt had surprised himself by agreeing to help out during the duelling tournament. He wasn't a very big duelist himself, but he had often enjoyed watching the duels. Once the two competitors seemed to be ready for the duel to begin, Matt pointed them to their places before speaking to them. "Welcome to your first round of duelling. The victor of this duel will be able to go on to the next round." Matt said. "If you break the rules, you'll be disqualified. Once you're unable to duel, you've lost." He explained. "When you're ready, bow to your opponent and get started." Matt said, stepping back to let the duel begin.

The duel begins now. You have 24 hours to post, or face disqualification. Ensure that you use the spell list for guidance on age-appropriate spells, and read over the dueling rules and points system. If you are knocked out or otherwise disarmed/incapacitated, or if you run out of points, you will lose and the duel will end. Have fun!
As an added note: Spectators are allowed to post in this topic once per competitors post, but are forbidden from directly interfering with the duels.

"Chicken girl!" Flynn couldn't help but respond with equal vigor as he returned the polite bow. Making quick work of blocking the first spell sent his way, Flynn was quick to return with a spell of his own, "Rictusempra!

Liusaidh blocked his spell but still easily erupted into bouts of giggles. but she centered herself and then cast a quick trip jinx.

Her trip jinx found it's mark and Flynn instantly stumbled forward, having to windmill his arms somewhat to try and keep his balance. Thankfully, he did manage to remain upright, scowling somewhat across the platform. Two could play at that. So he retaliated by shooting a quick Tarantallegra back at her.
