Beauxbatons,Practice
Orélie had almost been disappointed when she'd heard Beaux had managed to win their match against Ilvermorny. A part of her had hoped the team would flounder in her absence, but she knew that was stupid. It was good that they'd won, and good that the team was strong since they were going on to face Hogwarts NZ next. It had been a stupid decision to bail on the match in the first place, Orélie hadn't felt that well that morning, but she knew deep down she could have managed, a quick trip to the nurse would have set her right. But Nadine had insisted that she didn't need her to run the team, and Orélie vindictively had wanted to test that theory.
After the game, she'd been tempted to quit, but despite what Nadine thought, Orélie had earned her title as captain, just as much as Nadine had and she wasn't about to back down.
Her and Nadine had barely spoken after their fight last semester, their dorm a tense battleground, but Nadine had at least agreed to run practices with her and Orélie was making a point to arrive early, if only to make sure she was busy by the time Nadine arrived herself. She'd dragged the collection of balls out onto the field, stretching and scanning the patchy sky overhead. It was starting to warm up now as things headed into Spring, but there was still a definite chill in the air. Orélie sighed, trying to push the roiling animosity for her co-captain into the back so she could just focus on the games ahead as she waited for the team to arrive.
