[Professor Kalif Styx]

Professor Styx leads the two contestants to the stage, appointing them into the north or south part of the stage. He reveals the rules as well as the point system. He walks off the stage and orders the duel to begin, as he keeps a watchful eye.​

Bethany walked onto the platform for her last duel ever as president of the SDA and was determined to walk away as victor of the tournament. She had won every year for the past few years whenever there was a tournament so she was not about to break her streak. Bee bowed to her opponent and smiled politely at him, and then cast Protego once his first spell came towards her. Bee then cast "Obscuro," at him hoping to disorient him.
