Professor Pratt led the two students up to the platform once their turn came. The students were older which meant they should be more responsible but it could also mean they felt less inclined to follow the rules, so she made sure to explain the rules thoroughly to them. Kennedy walked off the stage and then signaled for them to begin the match.

Please use the spell list for guidance. No board rule breaking is acceptable. Have fun! I have a copy of the code that you should use with every post. Remember, when you are knocked out, unable to shoot anymore spells, you lost. And if you run out of points, you lose.

Gideon was a little more ready for this dueling tournament then he had been in the past. Not that preparation had been necessary for him then, with how much dumb luck he seemed to have. Since his winning streak last time, he'd practiced a few more fun spells to use, and couldn't wait to put them into practice. Giddy bowed toward the other boy after they were lead on stage, and was the first to raise his wand. "Densaugeo!" He shouted, thinking it would be funny to duel someone who'd have trouble properly speaking the spells.
