Professor Styx leads the two contestants to the stage, appointing them into the north or south part of the stage. He reveals the rules as well as the point system. He walks off the stage and orders the duel to begin, as he keeps a watchful eye.​

All right, make sure that you use the spell list for guidance. No board rule breaking is acceptable. Have fun! I have a copy of the code that you should use with every post. Remember, when you are knocked out, unable to shoot anymore spells, you lost. And if you run out of points, you lose.
The duel begins now. If someone doesn't post after 24 hours, they are disqualified.

It figured that the very last match was against someone she knew, though only vaguely. Xena was one of the girls in her dorm, but it didn't make Odette any less determined to beat her. She gave the girl a slight nod before pointing her wand. She was never one to wait or be patient. "Stupefy!" She shouted.

Xena was excited to have made it to the final round. She smiled at Odette, bowing her head in return, before quickly casting up a shield. This girl was fast. Narrowing her eyes, seeing her as only an opponent, someone in the way of what she wanted, Xena retaliated. "Expelliarmus!" She yelled.

Odette was sort of annoyed at Xena for not being caught off guard by her. She knew that they had both made it to the very last round, so this girl had to be good. Maybe she'd had better people to fight against too, Odette didn't think much of either of her past opponents. She hoped Xena wouldn't be too much of a problem. She blocked the spell and then immediately stepped aside and shooting one at her again. "Petrificus Totalus!"

Odette was very good. Xena frowned as her spell was blocked, and the girl had quickly fired back. Xena blocked the spell again, before quickly shooting a spell back. "Locomotor Mortis!"

Odette blocked Xena's spell but she was starting to get annoyed by the other girl's skill. She wanted to win this!
She thought of how she could play this and then blurted out the first thing that came to mind to distract the girl."Hey Xena, there's something on your face!" She shouted before shooting another stunning spell at the girl. She didn't know if the distraction would work, but it was worth a shot.

Xena's hand shot up to her face, her eyes widening as she saw the spell coming towards her. Xena dived out of the way, growling. "You're going to have to do better than that, Princess!" Xena called out, getting back onto her feet, before shooting "Expelliarmus!" at the stupid girl. Xena was angry, but worried at how she was caught off her guard. She had to be better.

Odette laughed when the girl's hand went to her face. She blocked the girl's disarming spell just in time and then decided to taunt her more. "Oh, my mistake, that was just your nose." She said, smirking. Then she sent a knee reversal jinx at the girl, wanting to see her deal with that.

Xena growled as the girl taunted her, but she had lost her focus once already and she wasn't going to take the bait. Xena blocked the jinx sent to her again before angrily firing back. "Rictusempra!" If she was laughing too much, she wouldn't be able to send any spells, right?

Odette was too late blocking the spell but she managed to dodge it, thanking her new quidditch reflexes for jumping aside in time. She scowled, how dare Xena? She was lasting way longer than Odette would have liked. She decided to shoot an easier but effective spell at her, one the other girl seemed to like using. "Expelliarmus!"
