Professor Styx leads the two contestants to the stage, appointing them into the north or south part of the stage. He reveals the rules as well as the point system. He walks off the stage and orders the duel to begin, as he keeps a watchful eye.​

All right, make sure that you use the spell list for guidance. No board rule breaking is acceptable. Have fun! I have a copy of the code that you should use with every post. Remember, when you are knocked out, unable to shoot anymore spells, you lost. And if you run out of points, you lose.
The duel begins now. If someone doesn't post after 24 hours, they are disqualified.

Relief flood her as Peyton made to the second round. The first one was intense but she congratulate the Ravenclaw for a nice match. Her second opponent seems to be a more skilled one. Peyton took the north side of the platform as instructed. Her breathing shallow as the Gryffindor bowed and with a swirl flick of her wand, she cast the Gubraithian fire spell. Peyton didn't want to make the match longer like the first one.

Oh how proud Rome was to have made it through to the next round of the duelling tournament. How happy she was with this. She was now faced with a girl she didn't know but who was apparently in her year, clearly some nobody with no, friends to note and no personality to match that horrible face. Rome was just ready to win, to beat her and move forward. She blocked the spell with a lazy flick of her wand, and with all the anger she held, fired back, "Obscuro,"

Peyton easily deflected the spell her opponent threw at her with a waved of her wand. She smirked at the other blonde, thinking the best move in a millisecond. A stinging hex was the best spell she could think of and that was the one she threw at the girl. Peyton was simply thinking that this match was a good chance to practice.

The girl opposite Rome, seemed excited to be at this match, to be fighting. It was true that Rome also found it quite exciting but for almost entirely opposite reasons. She could feel her frustration leaving her and heading towards the girl. She blocked this girl's spell again with almost lazy ease and without any break of hesitation fired back, "Diffindo,"

She could see how her opponent was using the duel for her emotions. Every duel seems to have that effect on a lot of people but Peyton's own emotion was lock up because if she does use the duel for her emotions, it will not end well. The Gryffindor dodge the next attempt of her opponent to the side and was unscratched by the spell. Peyton glared at the girl and threw another nasty spell, <COLOR color="#000">"Incendio!"

The girl was so pleased when the other dodged the spell, Rome definitely thought that dodging a spell was a sign of weakness, of not being entire good at magic. Rome's frustration and anger came through so strongly in all her spells, in how lazily it seemed that she blocked the girl, and fired back putting everything into each spell that she cast, casting the Stinging hex and hoping to cause a little pain to the girl.

Her opponent was very good and she loves it. Both of them aren't backing down, of course. Peyton was fast enough to block her on coming spell. She was thinking to irritate the girl more, <COLOR color="#000">"Aren't your eyes good? It seems you're aiming somewhere else." and retaliated as she taunt her. "Diffindo." a fast white spark emerge from her wand.

The girl was so surprised when the other girl tried to irritate her, or rile her up that she didn't even notice the spell hit her on the shoulder causing a cut to appear. This didn't make Rome very happy at all, she raised her wand and pointed at the other girl, casting "Reducto," with all her might.

Peyton was satisfied when she had hit the girl. Now, her opponent has all the anger in the world inside her and would be releasing it on Peyton any time soon. And no doubt the Slytherin fired a much stronger spell, only she deflected it with her shield charm easily and no second thought on her second spell. <COLOR color="#000">"Obscuro!" If she'll be hit by it, Peyton can attack for another spell to end the match.
