Writing to the Folks

Sara walked up the long stair to the owlery and called to her new owl Shade. He swooped down and she put out her arm for him to land on. Then she carefully took out of her pocket, the letter she had written earlier and attached it to her leg. It read....

Dear, Mam and Dad


Hogwarts is great-I love it! I have just completed my exams. This owl was given to me by Michael! It is a small world isn't it, that I would bump into Michael after so long.
Kate is doing very well. She loves it just as much as I and has made lots of friends. I have lots of news. The portaits here can talk, did you know that? Everyone seems nice enough-I am a Ravenclaw and Kate is a Hufflepuff.

I'm very sorry that my letter is so short, but I have to hurry bacck to the common room, as it is getting dark.

kate walked up tp the owlery she had a letter for her parents and siblings and was annoyed it had taken her this long to write she was walking in the door when she spotted Sara "hey sara"she said walking over and hugging her sister..

"Oh, hey Kate!" Sara exclaimed, she had come up to the tower, to see if there was a reply from their parents. There was."I just got a letter from Mam and Dad." She explained, grinning. "Shall I read it to you?"She began to read.

Dear Sara,

It is wonderful that Kate and yourself are finding it so easy to adapt to Hogwarts. Ryan and Star miss you two terribly, as do we.
I'm afraid we have had some bad news though. My Aunt Eileen has died. As you know, she was my godmother and was quite wealthy. She owned a big, stately manor in the countryside, though it is quite near the city. She had no shildren and has left her entire fortune to me.
Honey, we will be moving to the manor. Don't worry, you'll love it there. There are stables, woods, hills. We have thousand of acres of land. Unfortunately, it also takes a lot of upkeep. I don't think Kate has an owl to send us a letter, or does the school cupply them?
Please tell your sister the news. Your lives are changing, I don't know if it's for better or for worse...

Remember, you will always be my princess

Sara looked up at Kate, her mouth open in shock. "Kate, do you realise what this means?" She asked.

Kate stared up mouthed at Sara after she had read the letter "so were're rich now"Kate said not sure if she was happy or sad then the thought finally sinking in she started screaming "OMG were're rich yaaa"kate said grabbing on to Sara and getting her to jumb with her

 

[Sara Moon]

Sara, stood and watched her sister jumping. "Kate, don't you understand, this changes everything... People will be friends with us, because we're rich, everyone will view us differently..." She sighed, moving outside. "I don't think we should tell anybody... Keep it to ourselves. Just so that we can keep ourselves who we are, you know?" She whispered, glancing over at Kate. "Of course I'm excited, ecstatic, but I'm a little-in shock..." Suddenly she turned around and faced her sister. "Wait a second Kate... We're rich! We can help! We can donate money, we can give more to Africa. Then-on the selfish side, we can buy designer clothes, pets-anything!"She ran and hugged her sister. "Still, I don't think we should tell people." She whispered.

"I guess your right"She said a bit dissapointed but not suprised "But remamber sara this isn't our money its our parents money but I suppose we could ask them to donate some money"Kate said thinking about "But in a way it makes us rich in the muggle world not the wizard"Kate said her spirts dappening

 

[Sara Moon]

"Kate, it's the same thing!" Sara sighed, "Money in the muggle world, is still money in the wizard world, it can be changed over..." Sara glanced at the ground "Wait a minute!" She exclaimed, her eyes sparkling, with a new idea. She spoke hurriedly "Dad didn't mention where, the house is!" She glanced at Kate and added. "KK I'm writing to him, to ask.." She took up her quill and wrote

She glanced at her sister. "It should be back in about three days... Meet back here then?" She asked.[/font]

"Oh"Kate said not knowing that piece of information "okay so I'll meet you here after lunch.?"Kate asked

 

[Sara Moon]

After lunch, three days later Sara wslked up to the owlery, to meet her sister. Calling down from his perch, she untied a letter from his leg and waited for her sister to arrive.

she opened the letter. Inside it read


Sara,

You got me.
The house is outside of London-we will be moving to England.

Sara proceeded to faint and woke up hazily, laid in her bed in the dormitory.

Kate read the letter and gasped then Sara began to fall Kate caught her just in time and with some difficulty carried her to the castle since she couldn't get into the common room she went to the hospital wing and the took care of her there and she was than later taken up to her dorm/Kate then had time to think about where her new home would be she was going to miss Ireland but she was excited about living in England.She decided to back up to the owlery and send a reply

Wow moving to England thats a shock but I can't wait . Sara fainted after reading the letter but shes okay now.
