Nicolette was silently sitting on the couch watching her children play in the floor. Well it was mostly Nicolas and Bothizar playing around while Damianos sat on the floor quietly and watched his too brothers play. Ever since the Death of Jaken and other recently events she had barely uttered a word to anyone. She knew very well that death was a apart of life but if people were going to keep dying in her life like this she wasn't sure she'd be able to handle the blow to her already crumbling heart. Her entire family on her side was dead so all she had left was her husbands family who had pretty much become hers over time she had been with them. But if they were going to die off like no tomorrow she wasn't sure what else she had to do other than to cling onto what she had left. A small hint of a smile rose to her lips as she watched Nicolas and Bothizar struggle to fight over a toy that they both had taken a liking to, in the end she figured Bothizar would outsmart Nicolas and get it anyways. Nicolette leaned back against the couch and wondered if Kalif was around at all today, she knew he was off work because there was no school but she never had much of an idea on where he was. She had been feeling so weak, sick, and tired these past couple of days so she wondered if he wouldn't mind keeping an eye on the babies while she rested a little. Nicolette hated leaving that on him but right her body just could not keep up with anything today. She wasn't quite nine months yet but was also not scheduled to give birth for some amount of weeks still. After a moment more passed she shifted to move but gasped when she felt pain. Of course she had been feeling pains like this all day but didn't really put it off as anything.

All three of the children had heard and Nicolas wasn't shy around using his chubby little legs to carry him over to her and let his stormy little eyes glance up at her worriedly. "MA! Are okay?" One could really admired the fact that he was talking even if his sentence made no sense and it was really hard to make out what he was saying. Since she was his mother she could understand that he asked if she was okay. When the pain subsided she pat his head and watched as Bothizar went back to playing. "Mommy's fine Nick, why don't you go play with daddy?" She didn't really want him see her in pain. She just thought that rest would be best for her right now. She was pretty sure these weren't even contractions because they did't even feel like them. They hurt even worse. The small boy nodded his head and motioned for his two brothers to follow before Nicolette shifted back on the couch and sighed. Another wave of pain was coming and she really just wanted to sleep it off.

Things were not going so well in Kalif's life. Months have passed since the burial of his son, the first one he was ever able to raise. Kalif spent most of his time at the Manor, though on the weekdays, Kalif ventured off to the Zhefarovich Manor to assist in training Damianos as well as Theodore in the art of becoming the new Heads. On the weekends, he returned home to his own house, with his family. Kalif had not spoken much since Jaken's death, seeing that the best way to handle things was to remain silent as the grave. Because of this as well, it had caused him to have a shorter fuse with everyone. Kalif was packing things away, dealing with things at the Zhefarovich Manor before heading back to the Styx Manor, clearly across the world. After many apparations, Kalif managed to walk through the front door, and go straight to his office. However, as soon as he set some files down, he glanced down as someone tugged on his robes. He raised an eyebrow at all three boys of Nicolette's and his down below him, Damianos motioning him to follow, and the others nodding and babbling in agreement.

Rolling his eyes, he stepped passed the three boys, following behind him as he walked through the manor and came into the living room. His onyx eyes landed on Nicolette whom was laying on the couch. Kalif would ask what was wrong, but he knew better. It seems liek their daughter would be making a good arrival, almost early though. Kalif folded his arms across his chest and he uttered, "I'll get someone in the family to watch over the kids while we are at Saint Mungo's." It was the holidays, so he could order Kaleb or Patricia do watch over them. Kaleb would have to do. He was old enough to watch over them, but as far as Patricia went, he did not know. Kalif motioned for the children to leave the room, before they wondered off together.

Nicolette turned her head ever so gently to look at Kalif when he spoke to her about having someone watch the kids while they went to St. Mungos. Her sparkly golden eyes widened in shock, annoyance, and horror, there is no way in hell that she was going to that damned Hospital right now. To be honest she wasn't even sure if these were Contractions or if once again she was just feeling pain because something was up with her body, right now the pain had subsided so she figured all was well. This was probably the first time she had really seen Kalif about and talking to anyone and it almost worried Nicolette that he was taking this a lot worse than she thought he would. But she was going to be stubborn about this. She did not want to go and she did want to have her baby right now, it was too soon after the Death of Jaken she thought. That and she was feeling far too sick to even manage giving birth right now, it would be a disaster. The blonde sat herself up a little bit more and sighed softly. She hated having a stomach the size of a small beach ball. This was probably the first she had spoken or interacted with someone other than her children recently too. She felt it was best to give Kalif space and to just be on her own for a bit, after the Death of Her Family she never took Death all that well. Nicolette turned her head to the side and snorted.

"I'm fine, it's just pains. Don't worry." Nicolette muttered to him softly as she slowly got herself up from the couch. It always took ages to get up from anything with her big stomach weighing her down. Once she was up she sighed tiredly before she smiled softly at Kalif and turned to head over to where the children left their toys so she could pick them up and prevent a mess from happening. Really she would love nothing more than to embrace her husband and tell him that everything was going to be okay, but she knew that it would be the worst lie to tell him. She missed Jaken so much, it made her almost regret being pregnant to see him go. Just as she had taken a few steps another wave of pain hit her and Nicolette bit her lips to avoid from crying out in pain. Instead a small whimper escaped and she shuddered at the eerie feeling that she had. Though as much as she wanted to shake off the fact that her body was in so much pain, even more than when she was in labor with her first three children. One step and Nicolette stumbled, luckily not enough to the point where she would fall.

Rolling his eyes, Kalif did not have time for her to argue with him. Pains were definitely not a good sign when it came to pregnancy. Kalif rolled his eyes and he bent down and lifted Nicolette easily into his arms. She was quite a bit heavier than he remembered, because she was pregnant. "I don't want to hear you arguing. You are going to the hospital." Kalif's patience was at its wits end. Kalif stared down at Nicolette, as he had ordered Kaleb to watch the other children. But then there was Patricia. What would he do with her? Either she could stay here or come with them. "You should know better than to attempt to talk or argue your way out of changing my mind." Kalif smirked lightly, but it could have been a trick of the light. Turning, he faced the front door and started to walk. He rose his voice, "Patricia!" He did not know where she was right now, and truth be told, it was her choice to come with him or to stay here with Kaleb and the others. It did not matter to the Death Eater which one she chose.

Patricia was sitting up in her room in the Styx Manor, hiding away from her family. She had barely seen them for most of the holidays already as she had yet to tell them that she wanted to move out and live with one of her best friends, Luna Paramore. She didn’t know how they were going to take it so each day she he packed a bit of her belongings away until she was done. Today was probably the last day she would need to pack as she was almost done, she was excited to be moving out and going to live with Luna. She was starting to get nervous now because she hadn’t let on to anyone about moving yet and made sure her room was locked any day that she was out so no-one, mainly Kaleb or Kailie, wouldn’t go into it and see all of her bags lying about. After closing up another one of her cases she heard her father calling her from downstairs. Getting up she made her way downstairs, not sure what was wrong. Finding the room they were in Patricia saw Niccy in her father’s arms. Frowning her eyes with confusion she asked, “Uhh, what’s up?” Not really knowing what was happening right now.

Nicolette was about to turn and tell him to back the hell off because she was fine but then he did that dreaded move that she really couldn't stand. He picked her and started to carry her off towards the door and even worse, to the Hospital which is seriously the last place she wanted to go. Immediately the blonde began to struggle and try her best to get him to release her. "Kalif what the hell?! I told you I was fine...you never listen to me!" Nicolette snapped at him as she clawed, struggled, and tried anything she could to get out while she still could. Of course it was in her head that he was only caring for her well-being but she knew that if she went to St. Mungos they would force her to actually have the baby and she had done so well the past few days of making sure she didn't go into labor. Then it got worse when Patricia came downstairs because Kalif called her. Golden eyes rested on the teenager once she was in sight before she tried to struggle again. Patricia asked what was up and Nicolette shot Kalif a glare before she spoke. "Nothing Patricia. Your father and I were just having an argument of sorts. He-owwww!" Nicolette muttered under her breath as her hand pulled back and she attempt to smack Kalif on the arm to make him let her go. But the moment she moved her hand back a sharp pain made her gasp in shock and in pain. It was obvious that she was hurting a lot more than she was a few minute's ago. It kind of felt like she was being punched or something. Thankfully Kalif was holding her or else she would have doubled over in pain. A small whimper left her lips as she shifted uncomfortably.

"I never listen to you, that's a lie. I stood there and listened to your whimpers of pain," retorted Kalif. She should know by now that he would not take no for an answer. Kalif was carrying her bridal style, seeing as it would be the best way to carry her anyway. He heard Patricia coming down the stairs and then asking in words that one could tell that she had been hanging around friends for a bit long. "Nicolette is going into labor, and she is going to Saint Mungo's whether she likes it or not. As far as us arguing, I am sure that I have won this battle once again." Kalif glanced down at Nicolette, refraining from smirking or showing any other amusement because she would just struggle more. Amazing on just how much he knew about Nicolette. Kalif turned his onyx eyes toward Patricia once more. "Whether or not you want to come with us, decide now. If you cannot apparate there, there is floo powder next to the fireplace in the living room. I would apparate you and Nicolette, however she might jerk and we would have further unseen consequences." Kalif turned and apparated to Saint Mungo's where he was given a room and he set Nicolette down on a bed. He smirked as if to say, Try to run, and we will see how that goes.

Patricia clearly knew that something wasn’t right, her parents did fight and shout a lot but Patricia had never seen her father actually carry Niccy, she wondered if it was something to do with Niccy being pregnant. Niccy was the first to speak up and so Patricia listened to her. She rolled her eyes softly when she said that the two were having a fight, that she could clearly see for herself. When Niccy let out a small cry of pair Patricia frowned her eyebrows. Clearly Niccy wasn’t alright, was the baby alright? She had thought that Niccy’s pregnancy had been going alright so far, better than her previous ones for sure. Patricia shot her worried eyes to her father when he told her that Niccy was going into labour. Patricia half expected her father to tell her to stay and look after the children but when he asked if Patricia wanted to come to St Mungos with them she didn’t need to be asked twice. Patricia had never witnessed an actual birth and if she wanted to pursue her career of being a Healer, which she did, she saw this as the perfect opportunity of some firsthand experience. Patricia listened to her father mention about travel arrangements but she was very confident in her apparating now to not think twice about it. Turning in the spot she landed in St Mungos just after her father and followed him to the room. Moving over beside Niccy she didn’t know what was going to happen so she made sure to stay well out of the way of the Healers.

Sometimes Nicolette wondered if there was a point where a person could be too stubborn. Kalif didn't seem like he was giving in at all and she really didn't want to lose to him about this. She didn't think it was fair for one child's life to end for another to begin. No one had fully healed from the whole event either. Nicolette's heart was still broken and weak from losing someone that she had really wished she had the time to get to know better, the letter that he wrote to each person was even more sad than the next. As she was sat down on a bed she suddenly felt like she wanted to cry, throw up, and pass out all at the same time. Patricia also joined them, Nicolette felt so lucky to have such a strong and loving family but she feared that neither of them understood. "Kalif I don't really want to do this. Please take me back home..." Nicolette pleaded with him as a couple of Healers came into the room to do some of the typical stuff that they would often do while a woman was having a baby. Than included getting her into that nasty outfit people wore in the Hospital, hooking her up things, and bothering her with questions that she really didn't feel like answering. Instead she continued to look at Kalif pleadingly. He really wasn't going to make her do this was he? Her eyes fell to Patricia as well, she was worried that the young girl was scared about this. When another Healer came up and started to speak to her she turned her head and sighed, might as well try to cooperate with them for once.

"Excuse me miss, I need to ask you a few questions. When did you start feeling pains?" Nicolette turned her head and almost wanted to smack the woman for asking her this question. But she knew that she would have to answer the question now. Especially because she knew better then to try and trick her way out of it while Kalif and her daughter were there. "Two days. Nothings wrong with my baby is there?" She muttered quietly. The Healer widened their eyes at her, looking at her as if she had three heads or something. Okay she probably should have expected this because having contractions for two days and not saying anything was abnormal and pretty dangerous. Nicolette raised an eyebrow and sat back as she tried to dull the pain she was feeling. Nothing was wrong right? "Your babies appear to be fine. That fact that you have been having contractions for days and didn't come sooner is extremely risky to your life." Nicolette was more shocked about the fact that the Healer said the word babies than the fact that they just told her that her life was in serious danger because of her stupid actions. Did the tree lie to them again?! The blonde gasped in pain again as she tried to get over her obvious shock. The Healers in the room started to scramble about as well.

Kalif did not know whether to be surprised or not when Patricia had chosen to follow suit. Considering he knew just how long it would be until the baby was born, Kalif took a seat in the chair beside the bed and he ignored Nicolette's plea to take her home. His mind was set. Instead, he retrieved a small book from inside of his robes, waved his gloved hand over it and it enlarged to its original size. He opened it and he started to read the rise of the dark arts in the medieval centuries in Bulgaria in his native language, while the healers came in and they started asking questions. When he heard that she had been experiencing pains for the past two days, his stare went from the written word and transformed into a harsh glare as he turned his gaze to Nicolette. Why had she not said anything? Was she mental or mentally disabled? Did she not know just how dangerous this was? Seems like every baby born in this family that is not blood keen to us has to be so bloody dramatic, thought Kalif with a roll of his eyes. Though when the healers said the word baby in plural form, Kalif almost dropped his book. Seriously, was there more than one? Kalif growled, "How many are there?" One healer spoke in a quiet, frightened voice, "Twins, sir." Kalif wondered when the last time he had even checked the tree. It had been about five months ago. Twins usually appeared on the tree between three to six months of pregnancy. So, it could have updated then. Kalif watched as the long process of labor would soon commence. Even now, he was curious. He had one girl, for sure. Would he have another son or daughter in addition to that girl in there?

Nicolette couldn't bring herself to look at Kalif after she had admitted that she had been having these pains for days just because she knew he was probably unhappy with her. "I'm sorry Kalif." Nicolette wasn't sure what else she could say. She was unsure if he was worried or upset but she could figure that she would be in for it later. Finally she turned her head and mentally winced when she saw the glare that Kalif was giving her right now. She knew she was in trouble but at the moment she wasn't so worried about Kalif as she was about the situation of her life being as risk. If it was one thing she was not willing to leave behind just yet it was her life. She had finally fallen in love, had children, and gotten rid of all of those bringing her life down. Her life was actually good so why would someone intend to destroy it on her when for once she was finally happy? Her golden eyes fixed themselves onto the Healers as she tried to ignore the stinging pain she felt in her abdomen. "I'm not going to die right?" The Healer was silent and just gave her a worried look. Of course the Healer figured she was okay but with her being a fool and not telling people about her pains the Healer almost figured that they should tell her nothing, it wasn't guaranteed anyways. After a moment of staring a look of full on panic took over Nicolette's face, why the hell weren't they telling her anything. Immediately the pregnant death eater began to panic and worry. Once again she asked if she was going to die or anything but this time the Healer just bit his lips/

"Well Miss we cannot be certain of anything.." Nicolette's mouth dropped and her eyes widened to the size of saucers. She turned to give Kalif a look of panic before she turned and growled at the Healer. She didn't want to stay in bed and die in a fricken Hospital! The fact that she was having twins surprised her as well. The damn tree lied to her a second time. If that three could not be more honest with people then it was obviously defective or broken. The moment she shifted Nicolette cried out in pain again..they were getting worse. One of the Healers said they were going off to get someone so she could actually deliver those babies while they still could manage to.

Kalif waved with his hand for her to just hush so that he could watch the healers. They scrambled about and he wondered just what was going on. If they did not hurry up, he would deliver the children himself. He had done that once, because Kailie was in critical condition with the umbilical cord was wrapped around her neck so tightly, it was killing her, so he knew how to get a child out of the womb. His onyx eyes narrowed when the healer bit his lip and he rose from his chair, the book falling to the floor. The healer that said that they cannot be certain of anything, managed to piss off Kalif. That was perhaps the last thing that they wanted. He crossed his arms over his chest, and allowed his darker demeanor to take over. The iciness that cased him turned darker, more and more malicious as his gaze darkened. Kalif's voice was the iciest he had used in a long time, since he attacked Alexander Moon a while back, "You better be certain that my wife lives after this, or else I will not be responsible with how many will fill this morgue because of your carelessness. You graduated from a magical school, now act like it." Though it was not until now when the healers started taking extra care. The darker persona melted back into his calm and cold self, as he sank back into his chair, summoned his book and he uttered, "Things should run more smoothly now." He did not know if the healers took his words to heart, but even so, it just showed that he was here for business, and that nothing should happen to his wife. Kalif was not supposed to hold attachments however some made someone stronger. Seeing as he lost Jaken, if he lost his wife and those twins inside of her, he would surely go ballistic. Perhaps Asparuh was right, stuff like this made someone weak. However, how is it that when he got mad over someone's well being, he was stronger? It could work both ways when it came to Kalif.

Nicolette focused her worried attention on Kalif when he started to get upset and threaten the Healers about what they said to her about nothing being certain. It relieved her that Kalif seemed to be very bent on nothing happening to her because it meant that he would make them do whatever they could. She knew she could very easily be in trouble but she didn't want to think about it or even discuss it when Kalif had lost a lot already, no one needed to lose more than two family members as it is but if he lost three more Nicolette wasn't quite sure how he would hold up. "Kalif are you alr-owowowowow....okay guys really this hurts..." Nicolette whined to the Healers, by this point she was pretty sure her water had broken so this kids were coming whether she liked it or not. The pains were getting worse too but it was expected as she became more dilated and everything. She wanted to see if Kalif was alright and everything but instead one of the Healers forced her to lay down so they could give her something that would hopefully either just take away the pain or knock her out. Because another hour of this and she was likely to go off and start ripping some heads off, most likely the Healers for being such pains in the butts for everyone.</COLOR></FONT>

<COLOR color="#000">Some Time Later...

<FONT font="Lucida">Nicolette had given birth to two little girls. Already she could tell that one of them had her eyes and the other one had the same eyes that her father had, those pretty stormy colored ones. However this had left a serious number on her because she was exhausted and about ready to start stabbing some eyes out. She rested in her side, facing Kalif but not really look at him as her eyes were closed. The heartless bastards wouldn't even allow Nicolette to see either of her daughters before they were taken away to be cared for, but now that it had been some time they were allowed out, and Nicolette had yet to be awake or aware enough to realize that Kalif was holding one of the babies. If she had she probably would have smiled subtly or something. Shifting she let out a groan of pain and discomfort. She wanted to get up and move but oh was she tired and sore.

The long process was completely tiring, even for Kalif. But now, the two little girls were done and they were out and cleaned up. They forced Kalif to hold the youngest, but the other person holding the oldest of the twins was someone whom had come here for something more than just a friendly visit. Nicolette would be pleased to see her, Kalif thought. He was holding little Kairi Larxene, and the visitor was holding Kassye Minerva. Kalif glanced over at Nicolette and he uttered, "Open your eyes and see who is holding Kassye. I believe she might have news for you as well, then sit back and rest." They had named the oldest, but Kalif had to think of a name for Kairi. He was sure that Nicolette would be pleased with the name at least. It was the first in the Zhefarovich line, in many, many generations.

With a white blanket wrapped around the little one, named Kassye, but Rosaline was here for another purpose. She smiled lightly at the man holding the other twin, something that Rosaline was not expecting with Nicolette's pregnancy. Well, she did look a little bigger than before. Rosaline announced her arrival for Nicolette's ears, hoping that she was able to hear her right now, "Sister, I am here, holding one of your beautiful baby girls." Rosaline's sapphire orbs were upon Nicolette but it was confirmed, she was pregnant. Just barely a month now. She was so happy that her and Chavdar continued on, but this time without the pressure, and now she was pregnant. Though where or not it was a boy or a girl was no telling right now. Rosaline was hoping for another girl, so that Zinaida would have a little sister. Though this would be the last baby for a few years. Vulcan was a little over a year now, and there would need to be a bigger space than just that between her children.

Nicolette's golden eyes opened gently and glues themselves onto Kalif and one of the babies. An almost subtle smile rose to her lips as she continued to witness the sight of her husband holding one of his daughters. When she heard another voice Nicolette forced her head to turn and lock on Rosaline for a moment. What was she doing here? Nicolette sat her up slowly before she winced from the pain she was still feeling from giving birth and being in labor for many hours. A few strands of her golden blonde hair fell into her face, even though she had given birth some might say that Nicolette still had a pretty glow about her. Even if the Death Eater herself felt like she had been hit by a truck over and over again. "Rosaline...what brings you here?" Her voice was soft but didn't really hold anything else but tiredness and confusion in it. Her eyes were locked onto the small baby that the red haired woman was currently holding. It must have been her other baby. She had twins again, but this time they were girls. She was so proud of herself for finally have not only one but two little girls to hold and care for now. Nicolette wondered how Damianos and Nicolas would react to having two little sisters. They were almost two and a half so she figured they would understand better than Bothizar would. Nicolette already knew that Kailie would be thrilled.

"Oh..can I hold her?" Nicolette asked softly, she would continue to have Kalif hold the other baby because she seriously thought that was just too cute for her to let end so suddenly. She wanted to hold one of her babies finally and just bask in the fact that they were healthy and alive. It did a little to help numb away some of the pain that she felt for Jaken but she still was so happy that her little family was getting bigger. Hopefully there would be no more pregnancy's though. As much as she loved Kalif, loved her children, and occasionally the amazement of being pregnant she still wasn't sure if she'd be able to handle having another child and another time of going into labor.

Rosaline smiled gently upon Nicolette, a smile that not many would see from this cold woman. She was a Death Eater, but she was also a mother so she had some sort of warm feelings toward those that were related to her in some form. Rosaline continued to cradle the little bundle of joy in the rook of her arms, as she approached Nicolette. She hoped that she did not have twins, not again. One set was enough for Rosaline. Oddly enough, it seemed like Kairi had dark fuzz on her head, while Kassye had blonde. "I was suspicious of something..." answered Rosaline in an equally soft voice. Rosaline nodded as she requested to hold the little girl. "Say hello to mommy, Kassye Minerva Styx," cooed Rosaline as she handed Nicolette her oldest daughter. Rosaline folded her arms across her emerald green robes that encased her body. She most definitely was not showing yet, but she was glad that when she took that potion, it tasted sweet. The previous time, she had her blood drawn. There were many ways to get tested for pregnancy. Rosaline grinned at Nicolette and she whispered, "Nicolette, after relaxing...and not stressing, you are going to be an aunt again... I'm pregnant!" Rosaline was excited, and ignored Kalif's irritated sigh, and something said about people needing to stop having babies. Rosaline loved children, and she would keep having them, but she would stop when things got out of hand.

Nicolette reached her skinny arms out and carefully grabbed her back and pulled the small little girl close to her, she seemed to much smaller than all of her brothers were before her but she knew it was probably just because she was a girl. Her eyes also drifted over to the small baby that Kalif was holding, how on earth could that tree screw up again with the same person? "Sometimes I really hate that tree, oh well..I'm so happy that I have two baby girls to spoil now." The blonde leaned down to kiss the baby on the head before she cuddled the small body to her. She really hoped that they two wouldn't prove to be a handful like Nicolas and Damianos seemed to be now, they certainly didn't act like twins most of the time. When Rosaline announced that she was pregnant again Nicolette lifted her head and smiled softly and happily, when as happy as one could be when they were sore and a little bit overwhelmed. She knew how much Rosaline wanted a baby and how much it must have stung to be there when someone else was pregnant and you weren't, then again it seemed that Rosaline wanted children far more than Nicolette did these days. "Oh Rosaline I'm so happy for you! Do you know how far along you are or anything?!" Nicolette asked her with amusement lacing her voice. Kassye on the other hand was starting to get a little fussy. She kept move about and making whining noises, perhaps she didn't like the crowd. Or maybe she was hungry and wanted to say hi to her daddy. Nicolette wasn't sure yet. Her sister wasn't as restless at the moment though.

"Oh come on Kalif don't be such a stick in the mud, be happy for Rosaline." Nicolette rolled her golden eyes and started to rock Kassye softly as an attempt to put her to sleep. She wasn't in the mood to really tend to anything still, in fact she really just wanted to rest and rest and rest until she couldn't anymore. Giving birth was so tiring. Hopefully she would not have to worry about getting pregnant again anytime soon, if needed she would have to try and resist jumping on Kalif. Well, maybe not that but she would figure out something.

"Be happy for Rosaline?" Kalif raised an eyebrow as he took his onyx eyes from Kairi and to Nicolette. The dark, cold gaze went from his wife to Rosaline, before they landed on his wife once again. How in the world would he be happy for someone when he was not ever happy anyway? Also, there was nothing that he could be happy about even if he could. Kalif pointed out, "How could I be happy for Rosaline when she is going to be temperamental, so much that Chavdar will be coming over to my house, when she gets a large as a human that swallowed a quaffle, when a child is going to be born - all the pain that comes from birth, and not to mention wasting seventeen years just raising the screaming and crying brat just to have it waste its life on chance." Kalif rolled his eyes and he said, his icy voice dripping with venomous sarcasm, "Oh, I am just thrilled for her." Kalif did know that there were some good things from children, but there weren't that many. He liked all of his, the ones that were alive that is, but two managed to die, and the rest were too young to really tell at this point, excluding Hades but no one knows what that man is up to anyway.

"I've heard that the Patriarch was trying to charm it so that ghosts and genders would appear on there, but he never got it working. Maybe it was out of order or something for those copies that are connected," Rosaline shrugged lightly. Those ancient things were hard to work with, but they were common throughout many magical families and all. However, it would have been amazing if Asparuh did make that update work because then she would know if she were having a boy or a girl. Though when Kalif went off on a miniature rant about children. It was enough to make her jaw drop. Just what he said was just...something he would say actually. Rosaline brushed her fingers through her hair, and maybe she should return to Chavdar on the news. Rosaline pointed out, "Kalif, you are forgetting the positive points of children." Strangely enough, she could not think of anything positive to really say about children. She loved her three dearly, and she was carrying another. Rosaline let out a soft sigh and she waited before Nicolette would be asleep before she would leave. Maybe the healers needed to take the children away for a moment, before they could return home. Chavdar must be having fun having his kids there with him right now.

Nicolette heard Rosaline mention why the tree might have messed up with her pregnancy once again, it wasn't that big of a deal or anything but it was still frustrating to have that thing mess up twice with her. "I still hate that tree sometimes." She muttered under her breath. She felt even worse for Asparuh who had to update it himself to he had all the stress of it put onto his shoulders as well, how he put up with it all the time she didn't even want to think about. Her family tree for the Hensel's wasn't as complicated as this one was, this one updated itself which was pretty cool for the most part. But ones like the Snows and the Hensel's needed a drop of blood from every member before they appeared on the family or something like that. It seemed like hassle to Nicolette though, especially when you had to go around and track every single family member down to get their blood and everything. Since the Hensel family was actually starting to pick back up because they were all having children, one could only wonder is anyone was updating the family tree of if they were waiting for someone to do it themselves. Perhaps Nicolette should do what Alphonse does and specifically leave someone to go out and do this job. 'Nah too lazy, I have better things to worry about than them. I'll just boss Nicolas into it.' Nicolette snorted to herself before she glanced at a Healer than had come in to take Kassye from her and make sure everything was okay with the baby. The blonde glared at the Healer for a moment. She just got the baby so why would she want to give it back to someone else. After a moment Nicolette sighed and carefully handed the sleeping baby over to the Healer, were they going to take Kairi too?

When Kalif started to rant, Nicolette's golden eyes widened slightly. Well at least he was actually saying something now that didn't involve threats. But the way he said to Rosaline made her roll her eyes, couldn't be try to be at least somewhat happy for the poor woman? Taking one of the pillows from her bed she tossed it at him, hoping it would knock some sense into him, even if a pillow was so far from being harmful. Nicolette wasn't as friendly as she used to be but she did know that sometimes family members deserved to have people be happy for them, she knew how much Rosaline wanted this baby. One her fingers left the pillow and it was hurled into Kalif's direction she also decided to speak. "Kalif your being an a**." Nicolette loved Kalif to death but the two of them argued like it was no one's business. It was actually the way they bonded with one another. But still, she didn't want him to hurt Rosaline's feelings with his negativity.

The healers came in and took Kassye first before he willingly handed them Kairi. Kalif glanced over at Rosaline, expecting something out of her to point out that children were in some way positive, but nothing. His look was almost daring her to prove him wrong, but she fell into silence. He assumed that Nicolette was a little riled up over him being so negative, so he held his wand in his robes in case he had to use it. But then, a white blur came at him. After having Nicolette throw quite a few things at him, she had managed to help him build his reflexes. With his hand, he caught the pillow, before he dropped it onto the floor with a light thud. Kalif rolled his eyes and he murmured, "I wouldn't be if you did not give me a reason to be one. Also, a pillow... I think you are better at throwing books, your body and fits over pillows and attempting to get to me." Kalif allowed a trace of a sly smirk to paint as an expression on his usually cold and blank expression. It was hard to tell whether or not he was joking, but this time, he sure as Hades was not joking around.

Nicolette figured he would catch the damned thing, so when he caught the pillow in his hand all she did was roll her eyes and continue to stare at him with her bright golden eyes. But then he just had to open his mouth and say something that made her blood start to boil. He probably knew it did because he loved to get under her skin and made her throw a fit at him. She narrowed her eyes and leaned forward. Nicolette couldn't get too far because of the machine hooked up to her arm but she was pretty sure everyone in this room knew better then to think that would stop her from making sure she won. "Just because your cranky and you need a nap doesn't mean you need to make fun of me. If you want I can easily throw more at you, except myself....You'd like that too much." Sticking her tongue out, Nicolette laid her thin body back against the remaining pillows and gave Kalif a 'beat that buddy' look. She figured he would probably have something else to say to her but she was more than ready to retaliate. Nicolette liked the idea of jumping him sometimes but she was not in the mood right now, she just wanted to be right.

Kalif adjusted his position in his chair so that his eyes could glare holes into her own golden eyes. Kalif shook his head when she kept on pushing the argument. She should know by now that she would never win. Especially because he would win regardless because one of his own favorite pastimes were getting under Nicolette's skin, similar to having a kitten puff up its fur and get about twice the size as it was before to attempt to look scary. Kalif pointed out, "A nap? I hardly sleep Nicolette, so that is void. And when you throw yourself at me, ever wonder why I fight back? I think it is sad when a woman cannot go without pleasureful activities longer than her own husband. Now, calm down and sleep before you start hissing enough to cough up a hairball." Kalif folded his arms across his chest, before he waved at the door to close, which it did with a small click. While she was resting, and riled up now, there was no doubt that she would get even more mad when Kalif threw in her own animagus form into the argument. Kalif just wondered if Nicolette had anymore brilliant comebacks because Kalif could just twist them and throw them back at her. It amused him, though others might not see it as humorous. The children though were used to it.

Kalif started glaring back at Nicolette and thats when she knew that it was on between them, sometimes Kalif got really into just being mean back and thats when it got really fun. He responded to her and she had to admit that his words were like a kick in the butt for her, especially when he decided to use a low blow and bring her Animagus form into it. "Your one to talk, Mr. Cat lover. Not only are you married to one but you got me one for my birthday, so you obviously have a soft spot for them. Low blow but if I ever to cough up a hair ball I'm going to make sure and aim directly onto your nice shiny shoes. Beat that tree hugger." Nicolette now rested her head against the pillow as she tried to ignore the pain that she was feeling due to her moving around so much and getting angry. She was tired but she wanted to win against Kalif. She hated losing to him and she wanted to prove the world to him. Most people probably wouldn't get how they could love one another when they acted like that, but if they were ever in her or Kalif's shoes they would get exactly what they felt and why.
