Elvera had always enjoyed Halloween. It was a day that went by many names. Some of them being Halloween, Morgans birthday, All Hallows' Eve Samhain, and importantly this year she was now six months pregnant. Still nervous as hell about it but since her belly had started to seriously protrude she was starting to believe that having a baby was a possible and even likely outcome for her. She could now no longer see her feet as her tummy was in the way and even larger than either of her sisters had been possibly due to the fact that she generally wasn't as slim as either Eden or Lilith to begin with.
Her costume was a fairly obvious choice at least for her. Mother Earth. She was wearing a comfortable loose pair of cotton pants, and a top that fastened across the top but was then loose around the body leaving her belly visible which had been painted to look like the globe. She had also attached some branches to hairpieces and they were attatched to her head. The whole effect she thought was really quite good. She made her way out if her new office on the second floor and waddled slightly as she climbed down the two flights holding onto the hand rail before entering the great hall. The costumes this year were as good as ever. And she saw a slight trend with a lot of wolves. Which made her think of a previous student at the school who she had seen as being a werewolf before anyone else knew and more importantly she had seen her condition being brutally exposed. She took some food and found a seat glad to get off her feet which were not the happiest parts of her body any more. As she bit into the slice of pie she had she thought about the little girl briar had had, and wondered how they both were. She was glad briar had kept her even though she had been upset at the time. Gosh the little girl must be three now. A year younger than padme. They really did grew up fast. A few short months time and she would have her own little rugrat. And as uncomfortable as it was at times she knew it would fly past. She looked around the room to see who she could recognise. She could see professor raven dressed at Sherlock Holmes in a very good costume with professor jinx. Maybe she should go and say hello. But now she was sitting it would be so much effort to get up she decided she was happy just people watching and eating for a while.

Heath James had simply dressed up in all black for the feast. It was nothing unexpected of the man. He had been dressing in black all his years at Hogwarts. Honestly, he was tired of these things. They happened every year, and nothing fun ever happened. Heath would have thought the same way even if he was still dating Ai. He did not want to think about her anymore. They had ended cleanly enough. But, the girl was always in his thoughts. She was always in his head. He just wanted to get away from her and start over. He needed someone new in his life. Heath was not one to rebound, but it seemed necessary for this breakup. It was his first ever, and he was having a hard time coping. Silence was not always the answer to everything, sadly.

The seventh year saw a out fit that made him laugh. A professor was Mother Nature. He thought it was especially funny to him because he was muggleborn. He grew up using the bloody phrase. Heath took a seat across from the professor. "I like how you did that," he told her and pointed to her belly. It was huge! His sister needed to hurry up and get pregnant so that he could say that she looked like a whale. He did not want to lose Hufflepuff any points, so he did not tell the professor his thoughts. She put a lot of effort into her costume. He had just put on his everyday wear for the festivities. "It's very creative," he added on, and he looked down at the the table. He wasn't really in the mood for talking.

Elvera looked around as a boy sat next to her. and complimented her on her costume. he was clearly one of the older students and if she remembered correctly he was called Heath and was Ai's friend/boyfriend/ex-boyfriend or something of the like. she had never had him in her class but after seven or so years at the school you kind of got to know who some of the oldest students were.
"thank you" she said as he complimented her costume. the costume contest was something she never got bored of. even though she had been to the feast about fourteen years she had only repeated costume a couple of times and both of them so many years apart no one would remember. "I got the idea off a card" she said. one of the members of her coven, Rosie had sent her a card as a congratulations when she had found out she was pregnant.
she wasn't sure what he was meant to be or even if he was in costume at all dressed all in black he could be a ninja, a thief, a artist or musician or a thousand other things instead she didn't mention his costume "how has your evening been?" she asked instead wondering if he was here with friends or just here for the food. as after all to sit down and talk to the professor was usually low down on the list of priorities as a student. it certainly had been for her and she had bee a fairly reserved and booky girl as a student, actually she still was.

Heath had no problem being known as Ai's ex-boyfriend. She was now someone that played an important role, and he was just a muggleborn that could not wait to get out of this damn school. He would rather deal with college professors than be known as a failure in this world. Heath nodded. He wasn't that interested in what the professor was saying. He wondered why he even sat down with her. He should just leave. There was no point in him being here. But, the professor had asked him a question, so he was obligated to answer. He never learned when to finish what he started. Heath shrugged. "It hasn't been fun. I don't even know why I am here right now." he muttered. He leaned back in his chair and sighed. He looked around and sighed once more. This all just made him feel worst. He felt like he had matured, but at the same time, he felt like he had not changed at all. "This is so stupid. Halloween is stupid." he complained. The professor's opinion did not matter to him at this point. He was off in his own world.
