It had taken Aisa a while to pick up her guitar while at Hogwarts. She had been tempted to play in her dormitory, or even the common room, but didn't want to invite conversation about her music. She enjoyed playing, and didn't even necessarily mind people listening if they wanted, but when she played she didn't feel like doing anything else, like talking. So when the weather was even a little bit nice out, Aisa had taken her guitar outside to the lawn. She had picked a relatively quiet spot near the lake and started to play the songs she knew easily. Normally she liked to challenge herself, to learn new things, but this moment wasn't about learning but about relaxing and reminding herself why she loved music so much. It was also just a quiet moment for her by herself, though Aisa was starting to get used to being around the many students. It wasn't too different from muggle school, but the big exception was that there were always other students around, even at night. But she would get used to it, and hopefully make a friend or two as well.

Adorah had yet to make her way to the outside of the grounds yet. She had admired them through her dorm window but still was nervous about actually going outside. For the past three years, her life had been rather secluded, and while she had been allowed to go outside in the woods near her house, those woods had been her sanctuary. She could hide from potential visitors and appear visible when she chose. Here, the grounds were relatively open.

This day, however, she decided to take the first leap and read a book outside. She grabbed her favorite book, The Diary of Anne Frank, and a blanket. The weather was a perfect day, with just a little bit of overcast to cover the sun. She walked around the lawn for a few minutes until she noticed a girl playing the guitar. Whatever she was playing, it was rather beautiful. She decided to put her blanket maybe 10 feet away from the girl. She laid out on her stomach, threw her feet up into the air, and opened her book, enjoying the ambience.

Amy walked the grounds alone, trying to get her head around everything. She wasn't used to people, since she had been homeschooled before coming to Hogwarts, so she needed some time to herself. She sat against a tree, eyes closed, when she heard someone playing the guitar. One of the instruments she had never been able to play, since she could never get her head around how to do it. She listened for a few minutes, then started humming softly in tune with the music.

Aisa wasn't paying too much attention to her surroundings, but eventually noticed that two girls were listening to her music. She glanced over while playing a simple chord, noting that she recognized them both from sorting. One was lying on a blanket and reading, the other sitting against a tree. Aisa found it wasn't too bad to have an audience, especially when they didn't interrupt her. She decided to try a song she had been practicing during the break, playing a slightly more complex tune. She made a couple of mistakes, but managed most of it. Then she repeated the tune, daring another glance at her silent audience.

The girl playing was good. She played a different tune, and it sounded nice. Amy wondered if she could work up the courage to ask what chord it was in, but before she could stop herself, she asked."Sorry to interrupt, but what chord is that in? It sounded really nice. You can play really well." Amy blushed, and decided that she really needed to stop blushing after talking to new people. It was getting old.
