Emma was thrilled about tonight. She had a real date! With Issac! She was sure this would be a lot more fun than her disastrous date with Sully a few years ago, and she had spent a lot of time getting ready. Now she was bouncing with excitement as she waited for Issac to arrive. She had already seen Iris go in with Ajax and knew Nicole would be going with an older boy, both of them having signed up for the blind date thing. But Emma had asked her own date all by herself, which she felt was a lot more real. She tapped her foot to the music streaming out of the great hall as she waited for Issac to arrive, hopeful that he'd be as excited about tonight as she was.

Issac was a wee bit nervous but also excited for the Yule Ball. He had gone last year with a Blind Date, but this time around it had been a little different. This time he had been asked to the Yule Ball instead of signing up for something. He had spent a little bit of time getting ready and preparing himself for the dance, but not too long, as he didn't want to keep his date waiting. It felt a little strange. But an exciting strange, as he hadn't really been asked out on a date. Issac made his way down to the Great Hall, a couple of flowers wrapped and bunched together nicely, he had found some earlier and had no idea what sort of flowers they were, but he had hoped that Emma was okay with him giving her flowers. If not, then that would be a little embarrassing for him. As Issac made his way just outside the Great Hall, he looked around for his date, until he finally found her and smiled, and walked towards her. "Hey, Emma," Issac says with a small smile. He then looked at the small bouquet of flowers in his hands. "Oh, these are for you. I hope that's okay" Issac says with a smile as he rubbed the back of his neck a little, as he handed the small bouquet towards her. "You look beautiful by the way"

Emma's eyes widened at the sight of her date, with flowers. It was absolutely the most romantic thing that had ever happened to her. She fought the urge to squeal in delight as she took the flowers from him. "Of course it's okay! They're awesome!" She said excitedly, making a show of smelling the flowers before picking one out of the bouquet to put in her hair. "Thank you!" She said again as he complimented her as well. She leaned up and kissed his cheek, before grabbing his arm. "Let's go in, I want to dance!" She said eagerly.

Issac sighed a little with relief. He didn't want it to be too extra and he was glad that Emma had liked the flowers. The Gryffindor boy had blushed slightly when the girl kissed him on the cheek, he hadn't expected her to kiss him on the cheek. "O-oh, you're welcome. I'm glad you like them." Issac stuttered a little, still surprised by the small event that had happened moments ago. Issac smiled at his date, as she grabbed his arm. "Oh, sure. But ah- I'm not a great dancer. Just warning you now" Issac says with a small chuckle and shakes his head a little. He hadn't really been a great dancer nor had very much experience in that department.

Emma pulled Issac into the great hall, turning her head to look at him as he talked to her about dancing. "No worries." She said confidently. "As long as we have fun, it doesn't really matter." She told him, pulling him to the center of the dance floor and starting to twirl and move around to the music. Emma wasn't one for slow dances, usually, and she simply did whatever she felt like.

Issac laughs a little as Emma drags him into the Great Hall. The Gryffindor boy looks around the Great Hall, he had always liked the vibes that the Yule Ball had, and this time, Issac had felt that he was enjoying himself. Issac then looked around at where they stood. In the middle of the dance floor, and he was a bit worried at first, he was more of an athlete than a dancer. "If you say so" Issac replies back with a small laugh and smile. Issac smiles as he watches Emma dances to the beat of the music. Usually, the boy was always confident with whatever he does. But this time, he was nervous, and he didn't know where. The Gryffindor boy slowly and awkwardly starts to dance to the beat of the music with his date, before he gradually got more and more confident in himself, putting more energy into his dancing movements.
