It was a pleasant visit with his sister and her new husband, they toured him around Dublin and visited their mother’s parents which he hasn’t seen since he graduated from Hogwarts New Zealand. He found out that his step-niece has gone to their alma mater to study, wish he could meet her and maybe enthuse her to play Quidditch but apparently his sister has warned Nevaeh not to play the sport which was a bummer for him.

On his fifth day, he has to say farewell for now. He might visit sometimes but he can’t promise that. Hunter doesn’t start work till the next week and decided to visit Wales, see the sites around Cardiff. The season was throwing him off being he had stayed in the Southern hemisphere half of his life, it was Autumn and a little bit breezy and cool. He was used to it being Spring maybe he’ll get used to it soon enough.

Today, was a good day to go to the National Museum in Cardiff. See the new exhibitions and maybe get some food from their restaurant. Hunter started with the self-guiding tour of the Historic Arts, one earphone on his ear. He was into it as the automated voice from the earphone started speaking.

The semester had been underway for the past two weeks and Di really enjoyed every single day. Despite being a witch among the many muggles in uni, she easily blended in and had made a lot of friends already. The classes were fairly fast-paced but nothing the Beauxbaton graduate could not handle. She missed using magic in her daily activities but she wanted, this piece of no magic chapter as she pursued a different career path from her other wizarding peers.

Now that classes were finished for the day, Di decided to visit the museum not too far from her school. It was just a twelve-minute walk and so with her red coat on, she set off. The air was cool as it was autumn and soon enough, winter would come rolling in.

The woman left
her coat on as she walked the halls, the recorder in her hand. As much as guided tours were fun, she preferred doing the tour at her own pace. She took interest in the exhibitions as they always made you discover something new about the past.

A few minutes later, the recorded guide led her to the Historic Arts, with the halls deserted apart from one man. Her pace was slow in time with what the recording was telling her. It seemed the man also had the same tour as hers as they still ended up in front of the same art piece. They just stood there side by side when out of nowhere, the recorder fizzled, startling Diana, and yanked the earphones from her ears. "Oh, for Merlin's sake!', she blurted out. The recorder was fried, wisps of smoke coming out from the contraption. She looked around to see if there was someone who could assist her but there was no one to be found.

He stared at the intricate painting in front of him, a man in early 1550 in Wales. The 1st Earl of Pembroke. The black clothing he was wearing was exquisite, making the man more regal and authoritative. But the oil paint that was used was more intriguing, the deepness of that black tones and the richness of the gold tones. It makes the painting an eye catching décor.

As Hunter continued to study the painting and the recorder telling him the history of the painting and when it was bought. A voice caught his attention as he was only wearing one earphone on. The man stopped the recorder and took off the remaining earphone from his ear. A woman was having trouble with her own recorder. Hunter cleared his throat, "Having trouble keeping up?" But noticed the recorder was smoking. "Or at least the recorder was having trouble keeping up." He gave out a little chuckle.

Di was looking around for someplace to set the recorder down seeing as it was already useless when the man a few feet from her spoke up. He had one earphone on so it was already obvious that he had heard her outburst. "Oh!", she chuckled at his first question. She just smiled at him and decided to just hold on to it until she could find a staff member to pass it on to. "Yeah, it's fried. Not my fault.", she added, raising her hands in surrender. "Well, I guess I'll just have to cut my tour short.", she added with a shrug. It would have been nice to finish it since it was interesting. She could just look at the exhibit but it was more interesting to hear a little background of each piece. Sure, it was irrelevant to her degree but it was certainly a welcoming distraction from her busy schedule.
