Where: Leeds, United Kingdom
Going to: Headingley, United Kingdom
She knew she can't ignore the fact that this will be their first time not preparing for their daughter's birthday. She knew, as she stood at the open door of her daughter's bedroom that they won't be singing Happy Birthday to her. Tears started to roll down her cheeks and this time, Celestyn just let it be. The woman closed her eyes, remembering the day she thought will be a good day. She and Tristan, her husband, saw Madelynne go in the school bus that day. A field trip out in Heckmondwike, a twenty-four min drive from Leeds. Celestyn saw her last wave of goodbye to her. A normal work day for her, checking with her patients and administering some of the children's saline and medicine. Celestyn was feeling happy but when she saw the news everything seems to have gone wary for the doctor. Codes were thrown from the paging system like there was a fire.
The school bus where Madelynne was in, was toppled over. The doctor didn't believe that it was happening. Instead, she prepared her daughter's daily medicine which was to be administer by her good friend who's specialized in heart diseases. Madelynne's Congestive Heart Failure was worsening. She waited until her husband called her and confirmed what she thought wasn't true. Madelynne was set for a new heart that same week and the little girl was happy about it. Celestyn thought she was a bad mother, the trauma building was just next to their wing, she could have help her but didn't.
The brunette woman came about as she opened her eyes. Today, they will honor her by helping others. Celestyn and Tristan decided to make a huge donation to an orphanage they've been eyeing to help. They needed it the most. "I'm ready." She told her husband as she went in the car. She had already wiped her face anew.
