Mania was conflicted between being excited to get back home from school this year and dreading it. She was happy to see Hera and had rand to hug her older sister immediately, congratulating her on graduating. As soon as the oldest sister had said she needed to do something Nia had retreated into her room where she'd plugged in her phone and was currently waiting for it to open so she could check what she'd missed since she'd last used it over Christmas. As the phone opened and a few messages from a number she didn't recognize popped up the Gryffindor narrowed her eyes? Who was that? However as she opened the messages and read them it was glaringly obvious it was nobody else but Felix.

A loud shriek escaped the girls mouth as she jumped up from her bed. Reading the messages again and again the Gryffindor bolted at her door, practically throwing it open. Running towards the door of her older sisters room Mania bumped into Gaia who followed after he confused as Mania threw open Hera's door. "WHAT DOES IT MEAN WHEN A BOY TEXTS YOU?" She asked a tad louder than she'd meant to. "Is it weird if I answer right away? I'm not being too eager am I?" She asked hurriedly in one breath, looking at both her sister. "AM I?" Before either could answer she'd already written her response and sent it, saving the number under the name Princess Fifi. "I ANSWERED! Is it okay? WHAT DOES IT MEAN HERA?" Merlin, her heart was racing.

Frankly Hera wasn't all that sure what to do with the fact that she no longer had to study like her life depended on it. In one had it was good, she could now focus on her own aspiration rather than on the academic pressure. She'd just settled to sit on the chair in front of her vanity, staring at herself in the mirror pondering her next move in life when a loud shriek traveled through the estate. She knew who it was instantly, but alarm bells went off until she hear the running in the hallway. Had something happened? Making her way towards the door as it flew open and her whirlwind of a little sister shot through it with her phone in hand. Staring at the girl she was still reeling from confusion when words bubbled out the Gryffindor's mouth and she noted Gaia behind her.

"A boy? What boy?" She asked, narrowing her eyes and motioning for the phone to take a look. Her words didn't seem to matter because her sister was now screaming at her and Gaia, so excited Hera was sure she'd burst. It seemed like her little Menace had a crush. A small smile painted on her lips Hera raised a curious brow. "Which one is it this time? Getting a text from him is a good thing I reckon, means he'd be thinking about you even after leaving the school." She said with a shrug. Frankly Mania had lacked with the letters this year so she had no idea what was going on in that school these days.

Mania waved Hera off as she asked about what boy, instead just jumping on her older sisters bed and rolling onto her back as she stared at the messages. He'd texted her??? Looking at the dates she soon realized the case wasn't as Hera said, he'd texted her while they were still in school so didn't mean that he'd thought of her outside of it. Wait. He'd texted her while at school? HOW? Suddenly it dawned on her that fourth years had Muggle Studies in second semester. "He texted me while we were still at school though, so what does that mean? Obviously not that he was thinking of me as soon as he got home." She felt a pang of disappointment at that, it was okay he'd still chosen to message her when he'd gotten a chance at his phone and that was all that mattered. "His name is Felix, I have told you about him before... I think." She explained, remembering her ramblings about the Yule Ball.

Hera wasn't really surprised when her sister took to laying down on her bed without so much as asking if that was okay. Instead she just walked next to her and sat down, noticing as Gaia slowly walked out rolling her eyes. Glancing down at Nia, Hera felt a smile pulling at her lips as she started to brush her fingers through her sisters hair. "Ah, the boy you went to the Yule Ball with?" She asked, remembering how excited her sister had been. "When did you grow up and start having crushes and going to balls with boys? I know you are only four years younger than me but like, you were just eleven yesterday?" She said frowning and watching the other girls face.

Staring at the chat she now had between her and Felix on her phone, Nia frowned a little. Feeling Hera brush through her hair was nice and the fourth year listened to her words. "You do know I had a crush on like ten people within my first year at Hogwarts, right?" She questioned her sister with a grin. Yeah okay she'd had many crushes in her first few years, practically being infatuated with any and everyone around her. Putting her phone down the girl frowned looking up at her sister. "It's different though now, I think. I mean yeah it started like any other crush but its also like... its lasted so long even his attention didn't make the crush go away like it usually does, you know?" It wasn't like she was in love, nope that was for adults, but it did confuse her. The fact that he'd messaged her as soon as he could too made her feel all queasy.

"What does it mean that he not only texted me but sent me multiple texts, knowing full well it'd be one of the first things I'd see when I opened my phone..." She had to be thinking about it way too much. He liked her, she liked him. People who liked each other texted, at least that's what Nia thought they did. "When you had boyfriends... never mind Felix isn't even my boyfriend what am I saying." Mania began trying to ask a question but soon realized how ridiculous she was being and waved it off.

Hera watched Mania and at her words she let out a snort that would get about ten different complaints thrown her way if their mama heard the sound. Rolling her eyes she kept playing with her sisters' hair. "Yeah, wasn't one of them your Head of House and the other your best friends stepdad or something?" She asked, recalling the way her sister had returned after the first year all excited about the cute boys and girls and even Professors there were. Hera tilted her head a little and thought on her sisters words. "Yeah but you know every situation is different, it's okay if it doesn't go away. It's okay to enjoy someone's company, doesn't mean it'll be taken away or it'll disappear." She knew some of Mania's trouble with attaching herself to people came from a place of feeling like she'd been rejected a lot growing up. Though she might not admit it Hera had seen how it'd reflected on her friendships and relationships with family members, the Gryffindor didn't want to like anyone too much, yet she liked everyone with everything she had in her.

Raising a brow at the fact that her sister was now asking about her boyfriends, not that there was a great deal of those she'd had but there were a few ex's here and there. "No no, just ask it. Doesn't even have to be about Felix if you are just curious about something, you know you can ask anything. Whether or not I answer is a completely different story though." It wasn't like Nia could ask their mum for advice, hell even Hera hadn't dared to ask the woman. Not that she'd be likely to have any good advice on relationships anyways.
