Justin stood amongst the trees, inside the Forbidden Forest, nobody would ever think to look for him here, and he knew that nobody would want to look for him anyway. He didn't care much for most of the people around here, and he knew that most of them tried to stay inside certain cliques anyway. Justin didn't want to be a part of that.

Justin sighed, from where he sat in one of the trees, and, knowing that nobody would see him. He flung himself to another tree. He carefully climbed out of it, and moved himself to behind a bush near a clearing. He knew that he wouldn't be found easily, so he wouldn't bother to put up any of his natural defences.

Justin heard a noise nearby, but dismissed the sound straight away, he knew that it wouldn't probably just be a animal. He smiled to himself, and closed his eyes, staring at the canopy above. Justin was a know-it-all in some aspects of his everyday and he didn't really care what people thought of that fact.

Justin smiled serenely, and stood up, deciding that he wanted to know what was going on around him, and sighing to himself. He stood up, and walked in the direction of the noise he had heard, and stopped dead in his tracks when he saw another Ravenclaw walking around in front of him. He sighed, "Hello, there." Justin said, chuckling.

Nadia grumbled slightly as she walked down to the Forbidden Forest. She was so angry at Tamalia for having dragged her down here in the first place. And she had lost her favourite headband. Her mother had given that to her and now she was dead and Nadia had lost it. She had to find it.

She slowed her pace considerably as she approached the forest. She was wary of the fact that many Dark and Dangerous creatures lurked in the unknown forest. She shivered slightly as she stepped through the shrubs and into the unknown. She started tryng to retrace her steps and looking over every inch of the non existant path she was following.

Suddenly she heard a noise and cringed away from it. It didn't sound overly good. She didn't want to meet the maker of the sound. She returned to her searching and sighed as she changed direction moving away from the sound.

She wasn't sure how much time passed but she soon started to worry that she was never going to find her headband when she suddenly heard a voice. She screamed so loud that she was sure they heard her in Cuba. She slowly turned around and nearly shouted at the owner of the voice. "Merlin, you scared me half to death, what were you thinking, sneaking up on me like that?" She asked almost crying. She really didn't like having to be in the Forbidden Foresy but she just had to find her headband.

Justin rolled his eyes when he heard the girl speak, he had scared her, he could see. Justin couldn't help but wonder exactly who she was, and why in the world she was out here. The forest was a dangerous place, for people like here. People who barely knew how to do magic. Justin could hold his own out here, so it really didn't worry to him at all, what he did out here. Justin wouldn't get lost, either. He seemed to want to help this little first year, because she didn't exactly look like she knew where she was going.

Justin sighed, she didn't even seem to be happy to be out here, so it occurred to him that she must have wandered out here herself, except she didn't look like the fact to get lost. Justin chuckled to himself, and started to walk off. He stopped, and turned back to her, realising that he really should help her. She looked lost, and she looked like she needed help, with something, anyway. He didn't care what it was, but he wouldn't leave her to get lost in the woods.

Justin walked up her, and smiled, "I'm sorry I startled you, what brings you out here, anyway?" He asked. He didn't know, why somebody of her age, would even be out here in the first place. Justin sighed, and wondered if she would need help with anything. He didn't want to ask, because it might be considered rude, with her, but it was better to ask, then to be left in the dark. "Do you need help with anything?" He asked, carefully.

She frowned at him when he rolled his eyes at her. She didn't appreciate being treated like a child. Though out here, she deserved it. She was stupid for having come out here by herself. Even if she hated Tamalia she would have been better of for finding her and asking her to help her. She sighed and turned away from the boy as tears formed in her eyes. She just had to find her headband and this boy- whoever he was- was distracting her form achieving that goal. She wiped her eyes and looked back at him as he apologized and asked her a question.

Her lip trembled slightly as she looked up at the older boy. "Its ok, it was my fault for coming out here any-way." She said slowly fighting back tears. But with all her effort a stray tear escaped her eyes. She wiped it away and continued as he asked her yet another question. She wasn't sure if she wanted to tell him. She didn't even know his name. But she really did need all the help she could get and this boy seemed to be offering.

She looked up at him. "Yesterday, my.......fri-aquaintance, dragged me out here to explore with her." She said tears evident in her words. "I lost my headband and it is really important to me.....and......and I just gotta find it" She as tears rolled down her cheeks.

She turned around and faced the other way as she brushed away her tears. Then she heard a noise and yelped. She jumped behind the boy to hide. "What was that", she asked quietly.

Justin smiled at her, when she forgived her, she seemed to be nice enough for him to trust, but he didn't know if he should trust her or not. Justin wasn't one to trust people for no reason at all, except if he had a lot of convincing evidence, for being able to trust that person. He had taken quickly enough to Trinity, but that had been it, really. Justin knew where to stop, and where to pursue the matter.

Justin sighed softly, looking at her. He could see she was scared, or she was really jumpy, it didn't really matter to him. She was being nice, and understanding, so he wouldn't press the matter. He sighed, at the clear strangeness of the situation, and he was cautious about how he should proceed, he didn't want to pry into her presonal life, but he didn't want to leave her out here, alone.

Justin had seen a headband out here, a little while back, and he had picked it up. Justin fumbled through his pocket, pulling it out of his pocket, and chucking it at her. "Here, I found it a little while back, and knew that you'd probably come looking for it sooner or later." He smiled at the thought of it, he knew it would have come in handy, and he would have done the right thing, anyway. Justin rollled his eyes at her.

Justin heard a noise from behind him, and sighed when she jumped behind him, he didn't like people hiding behind him, and he really wanted her to move. He sighed, and dropped his voice, so that only she could hear him, "There's nobody there." He said, rolling his eyes. He didn't know how she managed to get scared so easily.

Nadia nodded towards him when he told her there was nobody there. She wasn't sure that she believed him but she kind of trusted him. She didn't entirely trust him but she trusted him enough to believe he wouldn't lie to her. She didn't see him as having any particular reasn to lie to her. She looked at the headband in her hands and smiled up at him.

Normally she would have hugged him, but seeing as this was such an awkward situation she decided against it. Instead she just nodded. "Thankyou, you have no idea how much this means to me" She said as she looked up at him and smiled warmly. She couldn't believe that he had found her headband. Atleast she wouldn't have to go looking for it by herself. She sighed. She was kind of worn out from all the jumping and screaming she had already done today.

She leaned against a tree and sat down. Then she reached into the bag she had been wearing and pulled out a bottle of water. It never emptied. Her father had charmed it for her. She loved this bottle. She looked at him. "What's your name any-way?" She asked as she put her drink back in her bag.

Justin sighed, when she nodded at him. He didn't really mind it, but a better sort of acknowledgement would have been welcome. Justin shrugged it off, he was used to people doing things like that, to him. Justin chuckled when she looked at the headband in her hands, and knew that it would have to be hers. He hadn't doubted that it would have been heres, it seemed like the kind of thing she would wear.

Justin dismissed her thank you, he didn't have any use for the headband. It was for a girl, and he clearly wasn't one of them. He heard her ask for his name. He didn't know whether or not he wanted to tell her, though. He didn't even know her that well. For all he knew, she could be conspiring to destroy him. Justin didn't think that would be the case, but it always paid to be cautious, especially around people he didn't know. "My name is Justin." He said, not adding anything else.

Justin wondered who this person was, now. He had seen her around the school before, but he had no idea what her name was. Justin sighed, at this. He didn't like feeling vulnerable, and he definitely didn't like it when people knew more about him, then he did of them. "Who exactly might you be, little one?" Justin asked, getting a kick out of imagining what she would think of the nickname.

Nadia smiled at him when he told her his name. "Justin..." She said trying it out. It was a nice name Justin. She liked the name Justin, she always had. She wondered how he had known that the headband was hers. She also wondered why he had picked it up. Perhaps he was going to ask around school for the owner? All she knew was that she was glad an honest person had found it. If some-one who was greedy found it, she never would have seen it again. You could sell this for quite alot in the muggle world, it was engraved with Diamontes, and it had cost alot for her mother to make.

As she got to know this boy from observing they way he interacted with her and any movement she made, she decided that she probably would have been ok to hug him. But that was in the past. She laughed slightly at the irony of everything that had happened. It was definately not her day, or even week.

Then suddenly she heard something she hadn't heard since she was two years old. "Who exactly might you be, little one?" She looked at him with a look of absolute shock on her face for a fraction of a second until she shook her head and frowned at him. "Who are you my brother?" She asked poking her tongue out at him and crossing her arms across her chest. "And I'm Nadia by the way" She said stifling a giggle.

Then she uncrossed her arms and put her headband on her head and frowned as she struggled to tie it up. It always did this. She has never mastered the art of tieing it with out seeing, usually she git her mum or her dad to do it. Unfortunately they weren't here right now, and that made her sad as she thought about WHY they weren't here.

Justin rolled his eyes at her, when she said his name. It was funny, the way she made it sound, anyway. Justin didn't know what to think of this little person. She was kind enough, and she seemed to want to be Justin's friend, and he could plainly see that she was a Ravenclaw. Justin wasn't sure what to do, though. Justin didn't mind being her friend, at all. He relished the chance to make new friends, so he would wait and see what happened.

Justin chuckled, at her, "If I was your brother, your life wouldn't be as boring as it probably is." He said, shrugging. Justin was really wild, around his house, if he had nothing to do. It was a strange quality, of him. Justin didn't know what to do, next, he had helped this girl, and he didn't think she needed anything else. He sighed, "I don't suppose you have anything more to do in the forests?" Justin asked. He knew he should probably get her back to the school safely.

Nadia sighed when she was unsuccessful at getting her headband to work and pulled it back of. She stuffed it in her bag and stood up. She giggled when he said the comment about being her brother. "Bet it would be" She said sighing. Her life was usually pretty boring. Between, classes and studying she didn't have much time for anything else. She shook her head when he asked her if she had any other buisness in the forest. She had gotten what she had come for, and that was all she needed. She smiled.

"Nah Im all good." She said as she turned around and was about to head in the direction of the school when she realised she didn;t actually know where she was supposed to be going. She laughed. "Uh, which way is the school Justin?" She asked smiling slightly to hide the embarassment that was sure to show itself.

Justin chuckled, when she wasn't able to put the headband, back on. He smiled strangely, at her. He thought it was funny, that she wouldn't even be able to accessorise herself. He carefully took the headband back out of her bag, and placed it on her head, carefully. "There, now you can't say I don't help you with anything." Justin said, chuckling. He didn't know exactly what people would think, when they saw the two of them walking back towards the school together, but he didn't care. This one here, would probably get lost if he let her walk back there on her own, and he couldn't have that happening. He didn't care what she thought, either, he wouldn't let her get lost.

Justin smiled at her, "The school's this way. Come, I'll show you." He said, starting to walk off in the direction he had indicated the school was in. He wouldn't get lost out here, easily, even though he had probably only been here for the same amount of time that everyone else had, it didn't worry him, all that much. He knew his way around the forests, better then he knew his way around the school. He didn't know why that was, but he didn't care, right now. It came in handy, sometimes. "Are you happy to have been sorted into Ravenclaw, then?" Justin asked, curious about her feelings on the matter. He loved being a Ravenclaw, and he couldn't see why others wouldn't also.

Nadia smiled her thanks when he helped her with her headband. "Well, that was nice of you, thankyou" She said positioning it just right on her head. She smiled to herself at how nice he turned out to be. She was very lucky to have met him. Then she frowned. "I never said that..." She said poking her tongue at him again. She was being very childish today. She thought to herself as she crossed her arms. "Help me indeed" She added laughing slightly.

She followed his directioning to the school. She couldn't believe that she had gotten lost, though it wasn't a first for her. When she had come here with Tamalia, they had ended up right on the otherside. Though how they got there unharmed had escaped her. She sighed at the unpleasent memories the thought of that Gryffindor brought with it. She looked down at her bag. It had scratches on it from having climbed up trees, fallen out of them, and nearly being eaten to death my a sink hole. She didn't even know there WERE sinkholes in the forest. She smiled when he asked her if she liked being in Ravenclaw.

"Yes, of course, who wouldn't?" She asked. She had wanted to be in Ravenclaw since the day her mother and father told her about her magic. It was like a dream of hers. Albeit a pretty stupid dream, but one she could cross of her list. "What about you Justin?" She asked as she looped her finger through the string of her band.

Justin chuckled slightly, when she began being a little more childish. She had been like that all day, and it amused him. He liked people who could be themselves, and not pretend to be something else. He shrugged, and smiled at her, "You're welcome." He said, chuckling still. He liked this little one, and she would be a good friend for Justin. Justin didn't doubt she would have gotten lost out here without him, quite easily. I mean, she had lost her headband out here pretty easily, and he didn't want to think of what harm could have befallen her, if he wasn't there to stop her.

Justin smiled strangely. She had just been staring at her bag, and he could see it had had a lot of harm come across it, as well. Further proof she would need him if she wanted to get out of here in one piece. "What in the world happened to your bag?" Justin asked, rolling his eyes. He didn't know if he wanted to know. It looked like it had been attacked by a werewolf. But he really didn't want to think of Nadia as being anymore near a werewolf. "Yeah, I like Ravenclaw. I'm smart, so it suits me well." Justin said, chuckling. He wasn't the type to be modest. "We're nearly back at the school." Justin announced, indicating the school.

Nadia smiled up at him sweetly as she laughed. Being childish wasn't normal for her. She was usually more intune to her studies. But when she wasn't studying, this was her. She hadn't been this person in a long time though. Not since she was seven. She sighed. She liked being childish. It was just who she was. But she had to be careful, if she was childish with the wrong person, it probably wouldn't be very good. She laughed nervously when he saw her bag.

"Well, you know how I told you about my er......friend dragging me out here?" She asked looking up at him sheepishly. "Well, you see...." She told him the whole story. About thinking Tamalia had wanted to go on a picnic, and how she had lied to her, so that she would come with her. hen she told him how they had been attacked by nearly every thing in the forest, but had some-how managed to cimb up a tree, and how Tamalia pushed her out so she could 'Distract the beast' And how she had run for her life and then nearly get swallowed up by a giant sinkhole. "So yeah" She finsihed.

She looked over to where he was pointing. "Oh thank god" She said almost worshipping the site of the castle.

Justin chuckled a few times as she told him her story. He didn't know why, but the strangest things made him laugh. It made him a strange person, but it also sometimes made him good company. Justin shrugged, and smiled at Nadia. "I don't like this Tamalia person, maybe I should hex her. That'll teach her some manners." Justin said, chuckling slightly. He didn't know if he actually would hex this random, just for Nadia's sake, but it would sure be funny. Maybe she would believe him, or maybe she was smart enough to understand that he was only joking around.

Justin smiled when she seemed to get happy when they left the forest. He didn't know whether or not she was happy to be rid of him, or happy to just be out of the forest. They walked out of the trees, and slowly started walking up towards the castle. Justin stopped. "I can take you the rest of the way, if you want. But otherwise I'll just go find somewhere quiet to settle down." Justin said, rolling his eyes. He didn't know whether or not people would be happy to see him with Nadia, or whether they would think he was stalking her. He had no idea what his being with her would make people think.

Nadia smiled slightly as Justin seemed to laugh at her misfortune. She really liked Justin and hoped they could become good friends. They were in the same house, so they were probably going to see more of each-other in the comon room. And if she ever couldn't find him, odds are she would find him out here some-where. Though she figured he wouldn't approve of her wandering around by herself. She chuckled slightly at the realisation that he would probably stalk her just to be sure. Then he said something about Tamalia. Nadia frowned. "Be my guest, shes certainly not my friend any more" She said as she looked down at her bag. She sighed. It was Tamalia's fault. She knew he was only joking around, but right now, she really didn't want to hear that stupid Gryffindor's name.

Nadia perked up more as they got closer to the Castle. She was happy to finally be out of that dark and scary place. She was lucky to have run into Justin out there. Nadia shook his head when he spoke again. "Uh uh, your not going any where" She said grabbing onto his arm and pulling him with her. "If you leave me, I'll probably get lost again, even when the castle is right there" She said feeling slightly stupid for saying it. Even though it was true, she hated to admitt that she had a weak sense of direction. Besides, she was scared that something might jump out at her from the shadows, as it was starting to get dark, and she wasn't really one for the dark either. Infact Darkness was one of her secret phobias, that no-one knew about.

Justin chuckled, and smiled at her. Whether she knew it or not, every body had friends, and enemies. He was happy to be her friend, and Tamalia was unlucky to be her enemy. Justin would take care of her if she needed him to do so. He wouldn't let some stupid stuck up Gryffindor mess around with any of his friends. He knew people, around here. Justin chuckled, "Yeah, well, be sure to stay away from her. I can help you if you're with me, but not any other time." Justin admitted, feeling like he was getting really close to her, in a brother-sisterly sort of way. He was protective of her.

Justin rolled his eyes, at her. It would be virtually impossible for anybody to get lost heading back to the castle from only here. Even a First Year wouldn't be able to do it. He then remembered she was both a First Year, and a Ravenclaw, so she shouldn't be able to. "You just want me to stick around." Justin said, chuckling. He didn't mind wandering around with Nadia. He liked her, she was a good friend, and he liked being with her. Justin liked having people in his life whom he could trust. He sighed, and turned towards the castle. "Come on, let's go." Justin said, smiling. He wouldn't get her lost, easily.
