Now that Mania had spent her first few weeks at Hogwarts in her second year she figured it'd be about time she went to see what the forest was all about. Unlike most kids though, she was going all in and by that she was going to spend the whole night there. Make a cute sleepover out of it, she'd told Echolyn about it but not Callie because frankly the Gryffindor might actually talk sense into her head. Sorry Callie, but Nia was not risking backing out of this. She had no idea whether or not Lyn would join her, but either way she was going in. With a blanket and wand in hand the second year stepped in, not yet casting a Lumos in fear of being spotted at the edge of the forbidden forest and dragged back to the castle. That would be a shame and a half and something Mania would not accept.

The good thing about having a little brother who was gifted more presents than any of the girls combined, was that Ares had a truckload of items around his room that he didn't always remember he owned. One of which was a small pop up tent. Echo had snagged it before they'd gone back to school that year, hoping she'd get the chance to spend some nights somewhere that wasn't the dungeon.

She hadn't expected Nia to suggest the forest, mind you. Of course, Echo wasn't going to back out and let the girl go on her own (because frankly if she said no, there was nothing holding Nia back from a solo trip) and so she'd changed into her pajamas, and packed a large bag of the essentials before slipping out of the castle. Having already been here once before with no consequences, Echo was pretty certain it would just be like a sleepover in a back garden, although she had brought her wand too, just in case. "Did anyone see you?" Echo peered into the darkness, assuming the shadow she was talking to was her friend.

Mania hadn't made it too far in yet when she heard a familiar voice behind her. Turning around the second year grinned at her friend. "Of course not, I am not an amateur." She whispered, grabbing the Slytherin by the arm and pulling her into the forest with her. Noting the huge bag she was carrying, mind you Mania had a single blanket and a small bag with some other essentials, she couldn't hep but ask. "Are you moving into the forest or spending one night?" It was kind of exciting to be here now, to see what it actually was all about. There'd been so much talk about not going in there and all that, but was it really that bad? Kids went in all the time and came out unscathed. She'd been sorely disappointed by the mansion in Brightstone already and hoped it wouldn't be the case here, maybe she'd see something worth her while?

"By the way, I had the displeasure of running into your brat of a brother." Nia mentioned with a grimace, she turned her head a little to look at Echolyn's reaction. Normally she'd be above insulting one's siblings but not after meeting the boy, nope. Thinking they were far enough in the forest now the Gryffindor cast a gentle Lumos, just to make sure she didn't step in any sh*t or anything.
