Aaliyah sat on her own, her shoulder length blonde hair blew around her face as the wind caught it. She was staring with her deep blue eyes into the distance. In her mind she was far away, somewhere with her friends, her family. Sighing she longed to know about her parents. Did she have any siblings? Her heart told her she would never know. Her parents had'nt wanted her. That's how she'd felt her whole life. Unwanted.

She listened to the sound of chattering as people all around her were preparing to finish the school year. Aaliyah would move into her sixth year, but it had felt as though she'd been going to durmstrang alot longer. With Elenzar here, everything was slower. It had been three years since anything had happened between them, although she needed something, or someone to talk her mind of him. Not talking to anyone through the years, had just made her mre lonely, and more protective of herself, not to mention more mischievious.

Yakov couldn't care less that the school year was almost over. There was another year to follow and another to follow that.
He walked the corridors of the Durmstrang institute with his head held high and his hands in his pockets.
Yakov ignored a first year asking him to step aside rather than take up the whole corridor. He ignored them and effortlessly cast them aside.
"Move." Yakov grunted, pushing through a group of second years.
They all parted, knowing him only too well.
Yakov's dark eyes traced the corridor. He noticed Aaliyah to one side of the corridor. He raised his eyebrows as she didn't seem too happy. He would have thought she'd be excited getting closer to leaving Durmstrang. Then he remembered where she'd have to go back to in the holidays.

Yakov stood beside Aaliyah and gave her hand a gentle squeeze.
There was nothing going on between them for the time being but Yakov often hugged Alliyah, pecked her cheek or something quite friendly like that.
"Look," he said after a few moments, "Dad will be away during the holdiays- him and mum are going to Greece for a holiday- .. If you like.. I mean, you don't have to but you could.. You could come and stay at the mansion. I mean, you could have your own room- We have plenty to spare.." Yakov held the back of his neck as he turned a little red. This was a very awkward thing for him to ask but he thought that Aaliyah might enjoy the holidays with him and his siblings.

Aaliyah heard a familar voice move and a sudden swarm of second years caught her eye. She looked up from herdaydream to see Yakov approaching her. "Hey" she gave him a reassuring smile. He'd been her long-term friend for several years now, he was one of the only people she could trust. After hearing his offer, she hugged him, it was strange finding someone who wouldn't mind you around. "Are you sure?" she asked, not wanting to interupt his own holidays. "Thanks" she said, before gaining back her own space. Only once had she been to someone's house, that was when she met Bianca. Thinking of her friends back in England made her shiver. They were all muggles. None of them shared her interests anymore, except for Elenzar of course, but they didn't even go to the same school.

"Yeah," Yakov nodded. The hug was warm and comforting. Yakov didn't hug his family; they were all very based on appearance and strictness. "It'll be fun.. We can.. er.. well, it's mostly just lawn surrounding our house but if we go towards the farthest corner of the grounds then we can go for a stroll through the woods."
Yakov knew what lurked in the woods of Bulgaria. It would amuse him to see what Aaliyah thought of the wildlife.
Yakov brushed a hand back through his brown hair. The rest of his family- apart from his mother- had very much blonde hair/
"Hey, Li, want to bunk lessons? I doubt anyone will care- the year's almost over.. We could play 'who can run the fastest' down corridors of first years." Yakov laughed, raising his eyebrows suggestively at a first year passing them.. Who's walking pace suddenly increased.

Aaliyah burst out laughing as he suggested runnin through the first years, "Sure" she didn't a small flex of her arms, "Wanna bet on that?" she said, knowing the dodging skills were at their best. Now hopping from foot to foot. "First to second corridor" This wpuld mean running all the way through the man entrance, across the lawn and back into the school before up the stairs.

Zdravko began doing a weird little dance along the corridors of the Durmstrang institute.
He was normally like this.. Well, this on vandalizing some part of the school.
When he noticed his brother, Zdrakvo danced over to him, grabbed Yakov's shoulders, hoisted himself up and did a handstand on his brother's shoulders.
"Heeey, big brother." Zdrakvo said happily, struggling to keep his balance.
He turned his upside-down head to the blonde girl. "Who's this? Is she your girlfriend?"

Yakov groaned as he saw his brother dancing over to him.
"Oh no.." Yakov muttered, suddenly feeling pressure on his shoulders.
"Ow! Ow! Ow! Geez, Drav, that hurts!"
He began to bend over to lower his sausage roll obsessed brother to the ground.
"Wha..?" Yakov started, turning his head to Aaliyah as he pushed Zdravko from his shoulders.
"No! Li is just a friend of mine.. She's also staying with us over the holidays." Yakov could feel himself turning red. His brother never seemed phased by anything. He was too much in his own world.

Zdravko fell to the floor with a dull thud, students moved swiftly to avoid him.
He stood up and laughed. "Hah! Li?! She's the one you wouldn't shut up about at Christmas?" Zdravko snorted loudly.
He loved to get to his brother.
"And since when was this arranged? I don't remember dad saying anything about this." He narrowed his energetic blue eyes at Aaliyah for just a moment.
Maybe she would be fun to have around. Why did he never get to randomly ask people to his house for the holidays?

Yakov did his death-stare at his brother. "Look, turd, I can do what I want. I'm 16 now.. Besides, dad wont be home. Him and mum are going to Greece, remember? We have stupid bloomin' Dom coming to 'babysit'." Although Yakov and Zdravko had strong Bulgarian accents, they could pronounce english words very well. Dominicus, on the other hand, could not pronounce English words 100% correctly. He had spent a lot of time in Bulgaria and in the early years of attending Durmstrang there had been few English speaking students.

(how many bros he got xD)

Li laughed as suddenly Yakov little brother danced over to him. "Nice to meet you too" she said sarcastically when he wen on about her, trying to embarras his brother in front of her. "You must be, Zdravko, ive heard so much about you" she said, obviously with a fake smile to prove she was kidding and taking the mickey out of him.
