Aaliyah has moved around a lot in her childhood and only since joining Durmstrang has she been able to settle down, even though she finds the holidays unbearable. She finds writing a lot easier especially as she works independently and doesnt like to mingle with too many people in one time.
What you might like to do after Durmstrang:
Aaliyah used to want to work in the dark arts, but thinking pratically she joined the ministry, and works for the Apparation and Portkey regulation comittee.
Someone you look up to:
I look up to all the students I know for how they have managed to be where they are, and for the fact there are some out there almost like her that wouldnt be able to be in their situation.
More Details
When Aaliyah was born on the 26th October 2006, she was abandoned by her mother or parents, she isnt sure on which, and was left to fend for herself. Until the age of six, she stayed with Madame Malouf, who had taken her in, however she had never been able to get on very well at the orphanage. She longed for the chance to get away, and that time came when she was six and she managed to get out the back window with the help of a few of her friends, Leani and Dahno.
When she was eight, she found her best friend Marhi, in the same situation. They managed to live on random things, and Aaliyah was quite scared when she found she could do things without meaning to, for example, levitation. Marhis brother Elenzar was also out however they had lost each other last year, when Elenzar went to get food, and didnt return. Aaliyah and Marhi spent four days camping out in the park near to where he went missing, but no such luck.
At eleven years old, she, Marhi, Mo and Bianca had found a small empty house, which they had been content to live in. After the apparent death of her brother, Marhi became quiet and pale. Mo and Bianca were the owners of the small hut-like building who had been doing the same thing for two years. Aaliyahs Durmstrang letter arrived at that house on her eleventh birthday, much to her surprise. She waited a few months for the others to get theres too, however she was the only one.
At twelve she had begun attending Durmstrang, and found it hard to mix with other students after being after the same people for her previous life. Aaliyah had found her first boyfriend when she was in her second year, much to her confusing, it turned out to her Elenzar.
In her fifth year, Aaliyah is still having trouble fitting into groups and proves herself to be independent. She could be clever if she wanted to be, but doesnt particularly like academic lessons. In the summer holidays she goes back to the house she spent most of her childhood, with her friends, who with some help managed to get back together with.
Aaliyah is in her sixth year at Durmstrang now, and is 17 years old. She got pregnant but lost the baby after a flying accident four months in. She no longer sees her friends as she moved out of their house, and into a new one of her own. She wants to start a new life, and is trying hard to become a prefect or head girl when she's in her seventh year. She has found a few more friends, and has her eye on someone completly new.
