Waiting For You

Zara felt a little sorry as she hadn't seen much of her boyfriend before holiday as she'd fallen ill so on the first day back before classes could begin she had a plan to steal him away from his friends. She knew that he was probably missing them but he would have to wait just a little longer to talk to the two bickering Gryffindors. The girl had written only a few letters to him over the holiday but for the most part had let him enjoy his time with family because he seemed to get along with his in a way she could never really grasp with her mother being the way she was. However now she was ready to see him again so the girl dressed quickly and rushed down to the Courtyard with a pep in her step, ready to see Asaiah and do what a girlfriend was meant to even if she didn't quite get it. She fiddled with the hem of her striped shirt as she waited for him to arrive and thought back onto her holiday with Darcy and how wonderful it had been to spend the time with just the two of them. She hoped that his break had been just as good but the girl could hardly imagine it.

Asaiah was not sure how he was supposed to feel about being back at Hogwarts after the winter break. He and his best friends weren't really talking to each other ever since the picnic, and he didn't like it one bit. He missed them, missed hanging out with them and walk around the school doing goofy and silly things, but the one thing that he missed greatly was hanging out with his best pal. Wyatt was like a brother to him, so when the Gryffindor boy decided that staying inside the common room was better than talking about what was bothering him, Asaiah stopped by the entrance of the Gryffindor common room almost every day in the hope that his best bro would come out and talk to him. And then there was Zara, which made him feel excited to be back at hogwarts. The Slytherin had missed being around Zara, as she always managed to make him feel happier whenever he was with her, specially with the current state his friendship with both Wyatt and Marisol was in, so when he got a note telling him to meet his girlfriend in the Courtyard as soon as possible, Asaiah made sure that his trunk was secure underneath his bed in the dormitory and raced towards the place where they were supposed to meet up. Once in the Courtyard, the fourteen year old smiled when he spotted his girlfriend, and walked over to her. ''Hi Zara''

I didn't see that you had responded until now. Whoops!

Zara smiled at Asaiah, her cheeks feeling a little hot as she looked at him while her mind raced. As he approached she gave him a quick kiss as she wasn't one for public displays of affection - that would have to suffice for now. The witch looked up at her boyfriend and said happily, "Hey." She wasn't sure what else to say to him except ask him, "How was your holiday?" She didn't want to go into hers too much because she felt that it would reveal perhaps a little too much about her home life with Lennon and her mother who had severe issues. She knew that he must have been enjoying his time with his siblings because he seemed as close to them as one could with their age differences so like a good girlfriend she'd listen along to whatever he said.
