Valentine's this year was different for Molly. Molly and Felix had broken up last semester, and Molly had felt odd coming here without him this year. Everything was just... awkward. While she did miss spending time with him and missed him overall, it was a bit hard to avoid him when you were in the same house and school overall. She had hoped that maybe going to the dance would maybe help. But as she entered the great hall, she suddenly felt awkward being there. She looked around the great hall, hoping that there was a friendly and familiar face around, but there was no one she really recognised was around. Molly quickly made her way to one of the punch fountains and grabbed a drink. The Hufflepuff took a sip, and awkwardly stood at the punch fountain, keeping an eye out for anyone familiar.

Kiara liked Valentine's, but she had to admit that now she was getting older she was starting to feel some pressure of attending the dance with a date. Something she didn't have. She had a date last year, sure, but she knew that had just been a friendly thing. Which made the whole idea a little sad. Surely it would be nice to attend a dance with someone as something a little more than friends. Shaking off the thought she made her way into the hall with her head held high, getting better and better at acting confident. Or perhaps acting that way was actually making her a little more confident each time without her fully noticing. Kiara was glad when she noticed a friendly face nearby, quickly stepping over to Molly and shooting the girl a smile. "Hey," She greeted, not entirely sure what had happened between Molly and her boyfriend but figuring something had since it didn't look like she was here with him. She definitely had to try a little harder to keep up with her friends again. "Are you okay?"

Molly had been a bit busy with "people watching" (more like her zoning out) that it took her a second that someone had been greeting her. She turned towards the person who had greeted her and smiled happily when she noticed a familiar face. "Hi!" Molly said happily, her mood changing slightly when she saw a familiar face. "Urm... yeah, yeah. I'm doing good!" Molly says with a smile, trying to be somewhat convincing that she was okay, more of her convincing herself that she was okay. "How about you?"
