Closed Unanswered Knocks

Ava rolled her eyes almost fondly at his response. "Right, sure. We'll see about that," She teased him, taking the glass he brought back. She noticed him scooting his chair closer and she pretended not to notice, sipping her wine. She turned the topic to his Professor position then, prying more about his lessons and why he'd gone back and just trying to learn as much as she could about his surprise aspirations. He might not have told her before, but she was going to find out everything she could now.
