Alianne Faith Cooper was getting ready for the biggest day in her twenty three years of life. A day that she had been almost certain would never come for her. Every guy before Izaak Jay had never managed to keep her attention longer than three months. They would bore her, lose her interest and affection. Just like that, Alianne would be gone, having disappeared and never to be heard from again. No, that wasn't the way it was with her fiancé. With Izaak, it had been different from the day that she met him at the large fountain, in the middle of Obsidian Harbour. It was her first week in New Zealand when they met. Things had been very different with Izaak then, he had a different fiancé with a child on the way. Yet, Aly had still fallen into the fountain with Izaak, quickly turning into the absolute best of friends. Alianne had stood by him through everything that had happened with both Ella and Alexis. She had spent hours on the phone with him, gotten him out of bed when he didn't want to move any farther, sat and let him cry on her shoulder when he needed it. Alianne had sat up all night with her best friend, gradually pulling him back together without even realizing exactly what it was she was doing. Things had progress, Alianne's heart had softened and she had fallen in love with her best friend, accidently kissing him on a surprise trip to the zoo. Humiliated, Aly had ran, as she had done so many times before; only Izaak chased her down, turning her world upside down by telling her he felt the same for her. The rest, as they say, was history from that point onward. He was her best friend, but now he was her lover too. The one person Aly knew would be there for her no matter what.
It wasn't really surprising that the young, vivacious blonde could hardly believe that this day, her wedding day, had come. The time since Aly had last stood on this beach seemed like only yesterday, even though it had been almost a year ago. The last time Alianne Faith had strolled down this pure white sand had been the day Izaak Jay Finch had knocked Alianne for a loop by getting down on one knee and asking the blonde to be his wife. Today, Alianne Cooper was returning to the same beach to hold Izaak to his promise. It was here, in Hawaii, that she would indeed become Alianne Finch. Aly stood in the same cottage that she and Izaak had stayed in the last time when he was competing in a major surfing competition. He had won, and celebrate they had that night. This Hawaiian shore was away from the public eye, a nice private, secluded portion of the beach. It was the perfect place for Izaak Jay and Aly Faith to tie the knot. Paparazzi followed Izaak around constantly, always interested in what the surfer star was doing. That was why Alianne and Izaak had apparated to this place, booking the cottage in Aly's brother's name. Alianne and Izaak did not want wedding crashers for their wedding. They had decided to have a small ceremony with only their closest friends and family.
Alianne Faith had chosen an unique wedding dress to be married in. The dress reflected the bride's personality for it would certainly stand out. Alianne walked out of the spacious bathroom, having just put on the pristine, white dress. Alianne's amethyst eyes really popped in violet hues against the white of the dress. Her violet bouquet of flowers was made to accent her eyes and it would most certainly do just that. No one other than herself had seen the dress. Aly wanted to wow her family and friends. Aly's mother, Emma's, jaw dropped as she looked at the twenty three year old. Aly could tell her mother was not thrilled with the blonde's choice of wedding dresses, but wasn't surprised. Emma knew what a different and unique daughter she had. The woman was just pleased Aly had found someone as wonderful as Izaak who would cherish Aly's differences. Emma smiled at her daughter, "You look wonderful darling." she said in her thick Tennessee accent. "Izaak isn't going to be able to take his eyes off of you." Emma said with a sly grin. "Thank you mother." she said, before turning to face the cottage door as her father slipped inside the room. George Cooper looked at his daughter with a grin on his kind face. "You look beautiful kiddo. It seems everyone is set up outside. Are you ready for this?" George asked his only daughter. Alianne smiled at both of her parents, giving them each a hug and a kiss. "Yes. I'm ready. I don't think I have ever been more ready for anything in my life." Aly said confidently, looking at both her parents. "Mom, you should probably get out there. See you soon." she said, hugging her mother one last time as Emma slipped out the door.
