Professor King picked his wand up again in the silence following Brian's response and brought it towards where Kailey was on the floor. He started to do a healing spell, which sounded much like a chant, and hoped her head would feel better, though he figured the likelihood of his complete success was slim to none. He had always felt insecure about healing but knew he had to at least try right now.

After he had completed the spell he spoke again, "How does that feel Ms. Paramore?" he asked.

 

[Kailey Harrington]

She still felt a dull ache but it wasn't nearly as bad as it had been. "Much better, Thank you Professor." She replied gratefully

 

[Brian Getathorn XIX]

Brian just stood there reflecting on his horrible lack of judgement, It had served him right for trying to practice a spell on another person, even if he didn't think it would work. Sometimes he felt cursed to have ever been given a wand, he just stood there waiting for the Professor to say something all the while relieved that he'd found the Professor quickly enough to help Kailey, whom only crime was trying to help a stupid Git like him.

"Well, Mr. Getahorn, Ravenclaw just lost ten points for your little stunt." Professor King stated, and as he did so the hourglass in the Ravenclaw Common Room adjusted itself. "And I'd like you to report to your Head of House and explain what occurred." He concluded, standing up and brushing off his robes, "Is that all, then?"

 

[Brian Getathorn XIX]

"yes Professor" Brian said feeling lower than he'd ever felt in his life.

 

[Nicolas King]

"Very well then, Ms. Paramore if you desire you might see a nurse." Professor King finished as he put his wand back in the pocket of his robes and continued walked back down the hallway towards the main staircase.

 

[Kailey Harrington]

Kailey got up off of the floor her fist clentched. She took a deep breath and relaxed her hand "Why th-" she opened her mouth to talk, but stopped mid sentence and walked back to the Ravenclaw common room. She didn't believe it was serious enough to need to see a nurse.
