Vader always had a list of things to do a mile long when the end of the semester, the end of the whole year was beginning to roll around. He just had so much he needed to do, and it was unhelped by the fact that this time too he had the supers. It meant he had more work for Accio, it wasn’t usually a bad thing, he quite liked it. But it didn’t mean that it wasn’t stressful, that it wasn’t affecting his sleep. THough he knew that stressed caused by actual things were not the only contributing factor to his low sleep, it certain made things worse. It was nearing curfew, they had time but he was finishing up in the accio room, doing the last of what he needed to for the day when sat at their desk space, was one of the other accio workers. Anastasie. He could admit that though he’d known her a long time, he didn’t know her that well. They didn’t really interact outside of this place. Not in the same way he interacted with Ajax or Aisa. ”Hey, Anastasie, got much work left to do today?” he approached her a little smile. He wouldn’t throw her out or tell her to leave the room, wouldn’t even if it were beyond the curfew, but he could check in and make sure her work wasn’t overwhelming her.

Since it was Anastasie's last year at school and in the Accio team, she wanted to get all of her Accio stuff out of the way first so she had plenty of time to study. It was a bit surreal to Anastasie that she would have to leave Hogwarts soon and go out into the real world. Ana enjoyed studying for her subjects and learning new things so it was a little bit sad to have to suddenly stop doing that. What had most upset her though was that she didn't even know what she wanted to do as a career yet. Her step-brother knew exactly what he wanted to do much before this point, and so Ana disappointed herself a little bit not knowing what she wanted to do herself.

Anastasie found herself in the Accio room sitting at one of the work desks doing some last minute touches of this year's layout for the yearbook. It wasn't as stressful a job as the photographer's, but Ana wanted this year to be perfect, mostly because it would be her last chance for an input and she was admittedly a little bit anxious about leaving it behind to the intern. Ana liked to have things her way and nothing would be her way once she left. Vader was in the room too and it surprised Ana when he spoke to her. The pair of them had never spoken much and so it made her feel a little bit taken aback. She looked up from the desk. "Oh, no, just doing some last minute stuff." she told him simply, wondering if maybe he was speaking to her for a specific reason. "Is something wrong?"

Vader gave a little quick shake of his head as Anastaise asked if something was wrong. He knew this would be a rather given response to him speaking to her, since he didn’t often speak to her, but he did also want to get to know her a little. It was somewhat wrong that he had been working with her for a while and just hadn’t had the time to get to know her properly. ”Nothing’s wrong,” he said, but then why was he speaking to her, his mind supplied that she wouldn’t wouldn’t want to speak to him, that why would anyone. He shoved all of that away and took a seat in front of her, ”I just was a little surprised to see you, usually, I’m the only one here late,” he said, but his tone remained friendly. ”Hows your intern getting on? Hattie, right?” he asked, this was an easy conversation, it was still about Accio, she wouldn’t be able to say nothing. He could bridge more easily into other conversations with this. Vader wasn’t sure about how to speak to her about anything else, it would feel random and unprompted, Accio discussions were normal, especially as they reached their crunch points.

Anastasie was a little bit confused when Vader said there was nothing wrong. She opened her mouth to ask him why he spoke to her then before he quickly answered it. It made sense that Vader would always be the last one there and so Ana nodded at his words, thinking then that he might walk away. Instead however he asked her a question about the intern. She was glad that this question wasn't about her as she wasn't quite sure how to answer how she was going, mostly because she didn't even know. "She's okay, hopefully she's able to keep everything going well." Ana said, keeping it simple. She truthfully didn't have much of an opinion on the girl mostly because they didn't speak to each other too much. "She doesn't have much experience, but she will most likely improve."

Vader nodded along as she talked about her intern. He’d found it difficult to find someone with experience and for his role he needed them to have it. Ajax had some scattered experience so it was his job to firm it up properly and make sure that he was managing the workload. It would be good to share it with him more in the next year. ”She’ll get better with time,” he agreed, people always did. ”She’s a ravenclaw after all. Though between you, me and Violeta, we’re stacking the team heavily with ravenclaws,” Currently Anastasie was their only slytherin on the team, the rest were the other houses. They’d only had one ravenclaw but now they had four and would have three next. ”Have you got plans after school? Anything close to this stuff or not at all?” he knew she wasn’t a photographer, but Vader wondered if she had interests in this sort of thing. Perhaps something he could actually help with, if it was in the right areas.

Anastasie couldn't help but stare at Vader with a raised eyebrow as he reassured Ana that the intern was a Ravenclaw which meant she would get it all in no time. He also mentioned that the team was being heavily stacked with Ravenclaws, and Anastasie couldn't help herself. "What's so good about Ravenclaws? Just because they have a blue tie doesn't mean they're smarter than everyone else." Ana told him with a small bit of attitude in her voice. She didn't like the stereotype Ravenclaws had, or any of the houses for that matter. It was half of the reason why she had no friends. As Vader asked her what she was going to do after school, she paused for a moment before thinking about it. She had no idea and it was what stressed her out. Her step-siblings knew exactly what they wanted to do before leaving whilst Ana had no clue. "I want to do something with charms. It's the only thing I'm good at." Ana told him with a shrug. She knew it kept her options open and she knew she should probably confide in an adult to help her, but she wanted people to think she was independent and so refused to do so.

Vader was a little surprised by her reaction to his comments about ravenclaws. If he’d been younger it would’ve been enough to completely set him off but he just considered it. ”I never said that there was something so good, or better than others..but typically...given they’re supposed to have a thirst for learning, means they are more likely to pick things up quickly,” he wondered if perhaps she had wanted to be ravenclaw or disliked the fact she as a slytherin wasn’t said to be smart. He didn’t think houses meant everything, but it was usually indicators. It just didn’t mean a person couldn’t then be other things. She told him what she intended to do afterwards. Something in charms. He was sure she was good at other things, ”That’s cool, like in a ministry position or something else?” he had always been so focused on photography that he had never thought about other subjects or what could be done with them. ”Not interested in pursuing something like this after school?” he asked motioning vaguely to the accio room.
