After her little chat with her dormmates Nia had been very curious to see more of the Quidditch team. Peregrine had made an awfully good point with the fact that the team members were cute. So with that in mind Mania had taken it to herself to go and totally not stare at the team as they did their try outs. She didn't really care for the sport, no she just wanted to stare and try to spot the cutest players. It wasn't for anything other than for her own fun. Sitting at the bleachers she wore her glasses for ultra precision for the decision, as one should. This was after all serious business.

Blanc didn't think riding a horse was going to be like riding a broomstick. He had experience with one, but not the other. Even Rouge who was much better than he ever was at not falling off a moving seat would have trouble, he bet. The first year was wrapped up warm and sat on his own watching the tryouts for his house, trying to determine whether Quidditch really seemed as vicious as it sounded, when he saw another girl watching the crowd playing too. "How do you know which ones are good?" he asked the older girl. Unless someone fell off their broom, how did they know if they were actually better than the others in the air?

Mania's attention wavered slightly as she heard a voice from next to her, it was a younger boy asking her a question. Shrugging the second year returned her eyes to the players. "I don't know much about the game and I don't truly care for it. I'm here simply for the view." She explained with a small smile. She knew a few things about the sport but nothing enough to tell who was good and who wasn't. Nia had never truly cared enough to learn either.

Blanc frowned at the girls response, it not making any sense to the first year. "Why are you here then?" he asked, "If you go to the owlery, you can see so much more from there. Here, the view is all blocked by the pillars and stuff," he nodded his head toward the pitch, where the players were flying around getting in the way of the nice view beyond. It seemed weird to Blanc that someone would put themselves in the stands if they were going to try and ignore the sport in front of them. "Maybe one of the professors can tell you where the best view is?" Blanc suddenly thought, thinking that if this girl was told by a professor, she would be more likely to trust them too. The brunette begun to look around, hoping to find a responsible adult.

Mania held down the laugh that was bubbling up her throat, she would not laugh at a clueless first year, no she was above making them feel silly. He was just a kid, good for him, not that she was much older but at least she wasn't thinking the view spoken about was well nature. "Don't worry about it, I think this is just fine. I might not care for the sport but the players aren't bad to look at." She quipped and her eyes followed as multiple familiar faces roamed around the pitch.

Now which one was the cutest? Definitely not Finfin, sorry but there were more promising options at play right now. Felix was a good option but not quite there... Nia tilted her head, pondering the captains were both nice looking but not quite it. Then there were the girls too, all very pretty and cute, but were they the cutest in the team? There was that guy with the bat smacking the balls around, he was kind of cute. Miles was there too and he was cute, why was the decision so difficult. Peregrine was also a good option too, but would it be weird to say your dormmate was the cutest player in the team? Maybe that was biased. "Are you interested in the sport?" The brunette asked the first year distractedly, she was torn between the choices but she had nobody, absolutely nobody to talk about them and ask for second opinion. The weight of the decision was solely on her shoulders now, what a responsibility to bear.

Isla reckoned she didn’t stand much of a chance getting on the team in first year, or ever. She liked watching the sport but that didn’t mean she’d ever be good at it herself, but she was still curious about her own house team so she decided to head down and watch the try-outs from the stands. It seemed she wasn’t the only one to have that idea as there were two of her fellow Gryffindors in the stands when she arrived. “Oh its a party,” She laughed and settled into a seat. “Did I miss anything?”

Blanc peered out on the pitch at the players, a bewildered look on his face. To him, they all just looked a bit stressed, sweaty and frustrated. Every now and then there would be a student who also looked like they were going to need to sit down after the tryout, the nerves maybe getting the better of them. "Quidditch?" he repeated, glancing back to the older girl, with half a scowl on his face. "I don't know, this is different to the Quidditch at home," everyone was in the air for a start.

The Gryffindor turned his head when another girl mentioned there being a party, although Blanc wasn't sure that were true. Was three even enough for a party? He shrugged as the second girl took a seat with them, wondering if she was only here to look at the players too. Blanc would need to make some friends that were boys sooner rather than later. Blanc decided to keep quiet, not really knowing whether the girls even cared about the tryouts.

Mania raised a quizzical brow to the younger boy. "Different? How? What sort of Quidditch have you been playing, because this is well Quidditch?" No sooner had she said that when a girl joined then making a comment about it being a party that made Nia let out a snort. Yeah some party. "Nah not really, I'm just trying to figure out which of the players gets the 'cutest of the team title' for the year. You know the important things and all that." The second year said with a grin as she returned her gaze to the players. "But seriously my guy, if you are interested you should definitely try to get in next year! I heard it's a lot of fun, if you like being smacked around by bludgers and all that of course." Mania said to the boy once more.

Isla thought it was weird the boy seemed to think this version of quidditch was so different. “You’ve played a different type of Quidditch?” She asked, suspecting he just played something different at home because of parents rules, maybe they didn’t let him fly or they didn’t have bludgers or something. Isla turned her attention to the players on the field, considering which of them she thought were cute. It wasn’t something she thought a lot of, but she had to admit some of them were nice to look at. “The boy trying out for beater is pretty cute, maybe the seeker, but there aren’t enough cute girls,”
