Closed Time Away

As if Leif hadn't been struggling enough as it was already he and Therese also decide to put an end to their relationship. They both agreed it would be best for them but that didn't take away from the fact that it hurt. A lot. What was even worse was that she had been his best friend long before she became his girlfriend and he wasn't sure if they'd be friends again. He would want to, sure, in time. But for now it seemed best to stay clear of her a while, which sounded even more difficult. No one had told him that if he'd date his best friend he would suffer twice the loss if they ever were to break up. Luckily for him his sister had noticed how much he was struggling and had invited him to accompany her on a trip to England. She was there for work and obviously couldn't be with him all the time, but whenever she was free she made sure to put her focus on her brother. Freya would try to cheer him up, make him forget about his struggles for a while and in general just have a good time. Leif appreciated her efforts and was glad to spend some time with his sister as well. At the moment his sister was in a meeting, but she hadn't gone before she had taken him to a wizarding shopping street here in england that was pretty much what obsidian harbour was for them back in new zealand. Leif had been wandering around for a while, walking in and out of shops and mostly just looking around. It was strange how familiar everything seemed. The only thing that was bothering him was the cold. He came from the summer back at home in new zealand but here in england it was obviously winter. Eventually the cold had gotten the better of him and he headed back to the pub that held the entrance to the shopping street. He ordered himself a warm butterbeer and turned around to find a spot to sit. It was rather busy so he decided to walk up to the first table at which he noticed someone sitting alone. "Hi." He gave the woman a friendly smile. "Mind if I join you?"
